I've had this same argument with someone else in another art thread. And the conclusion of the argument is the same.

Who fucking cares what medium you use? No-one, unless you truly believe that having a copy of Photoshop automatically makes everything 500 times better.

Just put some effort into it and make it look GOOD.

sorry for the pic quality.... the drawing programs sesize thing made the quality a tad lower when i made the pic smaller, so i could post it here

Here's an old pic of Princess Sally I made a while back in MSPaint. I had to resize it and convert it to GIF format to post it here, so its quality is nothing like that of the original.

you could have converted it to a .jpg without losing quality by means of the rather obscure Microsoft Image Composer program which I used to translate my Dark Sonic pic. and it is both free AND has all of the capabilities of photoshop (I think, I don't have photoshop, so I wouldn't know)
