As for Lopaxe, you're in. Hopefully you've read the front page of this thread for instructions. I've seen CybermonkeyStudios's animated icons and i can't wait to see how he's going to use them in his cartoon.

Remember that the deadline has been set to October 31st instead of October 15th. You all have 16 extra days to work on your animations. If you didn't visit the NG Alpha section yet, this collab is scheduled to be released on November the 5th. This way we'll submit this collab as soon as it's finished and we'll avoid any Halloween overspill problems.

Thank you =] Yes, I'm a game fan. Hah, I love the chibi look of Link from Legend of Zelda in animations and drawings so I'm trying this new style out.

Also, This is a good idea on releasing on the 5th. Remember last collab with the overspill of Pico Day? Wasn't that a kick. It was so crazy on how our collab could have made first place but didn't due to the other animations for that specific date.

I hope this collab gets front page; If it does that we are lucky bastards.
I'm gonna put my heart and soul into this collab. I tried to run a collab of mine but failed to do so. I've been tagging along your collab ideas for now. Which is easier for me to keep my mind too. Working for someone else is easier for me than running something.

I'm going to really try to make 2-3 parts on this collab following up my little story in this collab so it would be "Someone's Part > My Part > Someone's Part > My Part > Someone's part"
If you don't mind that is. Since I want it to have some pauses to keep the viewer's interested and not knowing there is another part of the little story.

This should be interesting.

Indeed, people. we're gonna have a good time with this. Mind you, my short will only last for about 10-15 seconds. I'm close to completing that piece and once that's finished i'll begin creating the user interface. Do you guys think scene selection is a good idea though? It'll just cut in on the soundtrack and that is kind of annoying... I was thinking something more on the "toolbar" side. we haven't tried that yet so we might as well. What do you guys reckon?

well i had a look at the W.F.F.A. collab and the movie options where kinda annoying cause the blocked part of the movie, so try and have it along the bottom and come up when you have the mouse at the bottom.

That's even more annying on slower machines though. 'sides, i gave the option to hide the controls in W.F.A.A., but you didn't read the options so you didn't find it. All you do is press a certain key and all the controls disappear. Hit it again to bring it back.

I think i'll adopt the same controls, but this time i'll put a movie bar on it too, otherwise it's just too annoying.

I'm thinking for my part I'll have some city, and the emoticons I made are just regular dwellers of the city. All of their jobs an activities won't match their personalities that they have constantly though. (i.e. The money emoticon is homeless.)

I think that's a good idea.

Now this is what happens when people don't listen to your WHOLE sentence. I said that scene selection might be a bad idea, because this being a continuous video, scene selection will cut in from some place and pick up in the middle of the soundtrack. it's just a bit untidy if you ask me.

Anyway, In answer to some questions asked earlier, it doesn't matter what background colour you pick for your file, because in the end all files will be merged into one and they will all share the same background. It'll be black as usual, by the way. White backgrounds just give me the shwitz...

In answer to another query, yes, a soundtrack will be used for this film, but i will not pick it carelessly and moreover, i will do what i did for W.F.A.A.: Syncronise everyone's collab pieces with the music. We're gonna make this flow beautifully.

I'm making mine have a script and dialogue. It's gonna be interesting. 3 parts explaining 1 story seperated. =]

So the viewer is left at the edge of their chairs wanting to know what happens next.

My part is some stuff taken from teh ZaD ep.1 (made by Lopaxe), also, I will use the COnfused smile ( :S ) as the plot, cuz my friend always uses it and i hate it so damn bad! I just need lil more ideas of making it to a nice piece and giving it some movement, cuz otherwise it's nothing special.....

Yes, I would prefer mine to be separate from a set audio track. If that's possible though.
