I wish there was a way to appeal a locked topic. You hit "Appeal Lock" and you can add a post asking the mod to unlock the topic for specific reasons.
But then, if you could post, it would defeat the purpose. I just hate it when topics get locked in here, though. But I won't rant about anything. There's a rift in what people expect the mods to do.

Shouldn't that thread be allowed in the politics BBS? What does it more pertain to- politics or clubs? Politics.
And not only is it easier to have it in here, but it is more likely to be used in here, and less likely to be spammed in in here.
I just though of this.

Yeah, but it was a nice thought while it lasted. I don't think I'll take it to Clubs, though. Wouldn't get as good a following there.

i would have to agree. i also make an appeal to reopen the thread. like Ted_Easton says, it would be better used in the poltical forum. it would hardly be much use in the clubs forum as it isn't a club in the traditional sense of the word. it's a collection of people who feel that politics is a serious issue. and as everyone knows there is this huge influx of people making faceless opinions with little regard to any of the issues at hand. i just think that the thread would be a good place for people to gather where they would actually have a good debate.

But can't you unlock it, this is our appeal. It isn't meant to be a club, or an argument, it's meant just for the politics regulars, (you know what we mean).
A thread just for intelligent people to discuss anything, without a mod locking it and saying "this isn't politics. take it to the general board!".
If it were to go to the general board, it would be flamed to a crisp and we'd never manage to actually post something before it was locked there.
