On another note, I was at the dentist today and got an X-ray taken, and apparently my jaw looks like it was broken once. I've never had a broken jaw, but right there on the x-ray, clear as day was a black fracture across my jaw.

It is, I usually don't care what Elfer does, but I mean...come on, I believe the whole thing was overblown, and just played up so that the government could draw attention away from things they don't want us thinking about (like the second anniversary of the war in Iraq). But still, that's just going too far, basic human decency.

Profiles pics need to be 150 x 150 to make you look nice and tidy. Not like my uncool stretched image.

When I joined NG back in July, there was halfway decent debate on this site. Now, NG Politics is becoming an extension of NG General and, if you know anything about me, you know I avoid NG General with a passion. It makes me feel stupid, even looking at that forum.

TBL, I joined about the same time you did and the main difference between then and now is that the debate has shifted away from policy. Face it, with the elections over there isn't much use debating what policy could/should be if _____ won. After all, that is the kind of places I remember you posting the most. Since then much of the debate has shifted to ethicial considerations such as abortion, gay marriage, gay adoption, assisted suicide, terri schiavo and the random iraq/terrorism topics. Debates change as current issues change so there is no need to be an ass to us just because the subject matter is different.

As for the NG Congress, obviously I am a member and all I can say about the way we conduct business is 1) we are a C&C club, so to you can't get your hopes too high and 2) bitter disputes and random arguments are the staple of free speech organization... or do you need to brush up on the history of the american congress.

I had my interview today. There's a 99% chance I have the internship--I just have to get a writing sample checked out.

i've never had any "real" job interveiw. i got into ski instructing because i volenteered at the mountain from ages 13-15 and then i just got the job when i turned 16

and at the summer camp i work at i was a camper and took counselor in training courses each year i went...and last year they gave me a job.

These cats are nuisances.. All they do is meow at my door, I let them in.. They go outside. Come back and meow at my god damned window... I let them in and then they meow at my door again to go outside. They think they own the place and I don't like that, one of the bastards kicked my weed on the floor. They dislike the dry cat food and try to eat my food. I'm going to throw them in a box and... Take them a couple of blocks down the street and send them packing.. yeah that's what I'm going to do. I liked it back when I had hordes of mice and my cat that passed away. He was an indoor cat, unlike these flea infested.. meowing douche bags. And I just had another "everything in my body is thumping" attack. Mesa gun' die.

cats tame down after a while. try getting a pet door or something for your door..my cats almost never use it..but they can if i'm too damn lazy to open the front door for them.
