Well, that was cool. I don't watch a lot of the flash that's coming through judgement, but I just did for the first time in a while, and I was the Saviour of one! Cool animation when you're the saviour. I wonder what the one when you are responsible for blamming something is.

I managed to catch a 23 pound lunker without the sinking lure. So nyah. :D
Actually, it was a real bitch. First, I had to get its attention. To get the attention of the bigger fish, you can't just reel normally--tap the analog stick so the bait bobs like a dying fish. The real hard part was reeling it in. I lost it a few times, and when I finally hooked it for good, I fought with it for 15 minutes. My hands hurt after that.
The fishing game was one of my favorites, so I think that's why I stayed at it. One more thing: do your fishing at night.

Shrike has both of them on his new blog that he's never going to make.
The save animation is actually fairly new, within a year or so and the blam one has been around for a long time.
One scenario I read for catching the Hylian loach is using the fishing guy's hat. Of course people make up a lot of crazy shit for fun. I can't tell you how many scenarios I tried trying to unfreeze those blue bastards.

Wow. Just... wow.
I knew NG was going in the shitter, but now the NG Congress? It reminds me of a bunch of 6 year old girls playing house.
Nevertheless, I feel that this is probably the most appropriate place to announce my retirement from NG. Many of you may have noticed an utter lack of posts coming from me - part of that is the fact that I was in Florida for spring break. Much of it has to do with the fact that I am currently getting settled in at the new forums I am using.
This was supposed to take place April 1, but I see no reason to delay it any longer. The quality of debate here has continued to decline and shows no sign of recovery. It also doesn't help that the entire place is liberal, and that people tend to divide themselves into party affilations and then spew vitriolic criticism at one another, instead of actually debating the issues.
Frankly, I'm tired of it. And quite frankly, given the other departures as of late, I seem not to be the only one. I forget who said it on aim - NotYouZ or Dann - but they want me to keep checking in every once in a while. Who knows. I may stick my head in the door every once in a while, but more than likely not.
To the friends I've made here - have fun. Maybe we'll meet again some time in the future. One never knows. Get a good education, have lots of babies and don't turn homosexual. But if you do, that's good too.
To everyone else - Buh-bye.
Mods - I don't really care. If you want to delete my account, go for it. If not, that works too. If anyone wants the password to this account, you have my e-mail address - feel free to use it.
Have fun in life, everyone.

Oh, I've seen that blam one before. It seemed likely if they were updating the Save one they would the blam one with something comparable (devil, maybe). I really like the Save one, though.

Yeah... I was tickled to have finally figured out how to get the spinning Politics Crew logo in my sig. Now if I could just invert the whole damn thing (animation as well) to look like my other sig, I'd be ecstatic.
Hmm... apparently they are making a movie about the other thing in your sig. Now I'm confused.
That's kind of like the old discussion of GnR's next album, "Chinese Democracy." People have been saying for a while it would happen, but it keeps getting pushed back.

My Music Appreciation teacher was talking about how modern guitar virtuosos look back on Baroque and Classical pieces of music to help inspire them in their composing. So today, I brought him a homemade (read; pirated) copy of Jason Becker's "Perpetual Burn" album and asked him to play track 5 in his office. Keep in mind, that my teacher rails hard against music pirates. But I told him before hand that I downloaded the C.D. because I couldn't hardly find it anywhere.
He listened to the track, loved it, and after taking it out of his C.D. player went to hand it to me. I told him he could keep it if he liked, AND HE DID!! He didn't chew me out once about the whole downloading deal. Now isn't that just a kick in the nutts?

IT IS NOT YOUR SITE, NOT YOUR BBS.
IT IS THEIRS.
No amount of bitching is going to make him lose his job, and it certainly doesn't help him maintain a friendly face when he's always under attack for one thing or another. There is a fine line between constructive criticism and petty insults. Don't be a dickhead, ok mr skypenis?

No. It needs more penis. Much more penis.

“Good sir.” I said. “Where is she now?”
“Now!” He said in a severe tone.
His face became dead as a stone
And said, “Alas! That I was born,
That was the loss that I here mourn
This line is a little off.
Perhaps "That is the loss of which I mourn"
Which I by now told you before,
"Of which I once told you before"
But I will say my words once more,
‘You know full little what I grieve.
You have no idea what I grieve ~or~
You can not grasp that which I grieve
I have lost more than you believe.’
Good God! What I lost, it was she!”
“Alas, sir, how? Where may she be?”
“She is dead!” “No!” “Yes, this is truth!”
“Is that your lose? By god, it is ruth!”
Too many syllables.(9) Lose? Do you mean loss?
I have no suggestion. Except perhaps making "it is" a contraction.
With that he began to retreat,
to his white horse; all was complete.
For that moment the hunt was done,
And with that the black king begun
to ride home far in the distance
Seems a lil clumsy. Like it is missing a few words meh. Poetry oft is, afterall. =p
"a journey home, to the distance"
Not much of an improvement. Maybe none at all. Your pick.
To a place of such brilliance,
Seven syllables. Brilliance is only 2. Not 3.
"To a palace of such brilliance,"
From here, the king’s castle looked small,
nestled in a gleaming white wall
By Saint John! What a richly hill,
This dream filled me with such a thrill.
Right thus I dreamed, this dream I tell,
Then rang the gleaming castle bell
Twelve loud rings the bell had smitten
Thereafter I was awoken
And I found myself in my bed
With the poem book that I had read,
9. Poem is 2.
"With the poem book I had read,"
Of Ceyx and Alcyone
I have no idea... how to pronounce those, or how many syllables they contain.
And of the dream gods who foresee
sleep, unmoved in my hand it seemed.
fixing this one for the next line...
"sleep, unmoved, or so it would seem"
I thought, “I should write what I dreamed
9 syllables.
"I thought, "should I write of my dream"
Kind of sticky, that one was.... mmm yes.
It's the best fix I could make up on the fly. =\
And in the due process of time,
Strive to put it into a rhyme
As best I can”; so my dear friends
This was my dream, now it all ends.
My conclusion?
A haiku. Of course.
