Start a topic or something. Nobody is responding to you, and it's odd to see random things like this in here. Usually random has to do with something non-political. Thanks! :)

Water temple hard? Phaw!
The one I could NEVER manage to complete was the Shadow, and parts of the Spirit.
Not because it was particularly difficult, but the hands that fall from the ceiling would give me the bejeebers EVERY time I encountered one, until I encountered so many in the Shadow that I gave up. I also grew to dread that whole area of the forest temple near the twisty room with the hand.
Other than the hands, I can beat most anything in Zelda.

I'll look pro-torie...
Anyways to be off of that I'll like to say it was all about dressing up that potato and spinning that wheel of fortune back on the old macintosh. But now it's mindsweeping and playing solo card games. Windows doesn't know how to bundle games but that weird microsoft motocross game demo I found on that other disk. Everytime I go off boundry I get thrown a kilometre into the air..

I still have them, every single game.
And lately there have been some ubercool fanmade versions of king's quest (actually, remakes with sounds and voices)
I was so disappointed with the Mask of Eternity, it was so unlike Kings Quest. But luckily, a fanmade version will come out to end the series. It's called, "Every Cloack has its Silver Lining". kq9.org Of course it won't be an official, but I've been excited cause there was no conclusion to the series before Roberta Williams left, so this should tidy things over.

I agree that the hands generally make life suck. But there's a way to get them. Stand still for a couple of seconds until you hear a low growl. A shadow will form around you. Run, and when you hear the hand drop, wail on the damn thing. You get a ton of Rupees for killing it, and it makes life easier.

Yeah, that's how I always kill it, and I can beat one, but they still give me heart attacks.
What about music in Zelda? Best song ever: Bolero of Fire

Damn right. I liked the Nocturne of Shadow, too.
Speaking of the Fire Temple and music, you guys know the deal that Ocarina of time had with Islam, right?

I'm probably gunna sound like the biggest loser for even posting this, but I would enter the windmill in kakariko village, turn the volume up, and just chill to the tune that crazy bastard would crank out. I gotta say, OoT had the best music of any game I've ever played. I remember even freestyling on the Ocarino until I could play the village background music perfectly.

*nod*
Favorite song: Prelude of Light... had a cheery ring to it.
Best music in any game: Conker's Bad Fur Day: Rock Solid Club Music!!!
Man, I'd just do the same as Drunk, just sit back, turn up the music, and let Conker work that groove to the strobelight and lasers. That was some crazy Techno.
P.S. Anyone who owns an N64, try and find this game... fuckin' hilarious!

I wish I could help you, I once had a guide to the game, of course, that was when it first came out, I do not think I would have it any longer. I could try to play the game, but I might have to start from scratch, so, no help from me there.

JoS, have you checked inside the well yet for your key? If you have, I'd say check the room with the multiple levels (ya gotta climb a bunch of ladders and push blocks n shit). I think there were a few hard-to-find keys there.

I got through the room where you push the blocks, it was locked so I had to use one of the keys I had. The well Im am assuming you mean the room with like the bridge and stuff (sorta liek a garden), is full of water so I cant get to the bottom. So there are keys in the block room? SHoudl I have the lense of truth already?

I'm more a fan of the old Zelda games... nothing like 8-bit and 16-bit Zelda games to drive you up the wall.
This would be such a kick ass CD if my burner was working properly. You may want to duct tape your skull so as to keep your head from exploding due to my musical choices...
01. "Crazy or High" - Black Label Society
02. "Eleanor Rigby" - Godhead
03. "Send Me An Angel" - Dead Star Assembly
04. "Puritania" - Dimmu Borgir
05. "Hallowed Be Thy Name" - Cradle of Filth
06. "Judith" - A Perfect Circle
07. "Breakdown" - Instruction
08. "Minus Celcius" - Backyard Babies
09. "Polyamerous" - Breaking Benjamin
10. "Try Honesty" - Billy Talent
11. "Nemo" - Nightwish
12. "We've Had Enough" - Alkaline Trio
13. "Sanitarium (Welcome Home)" - Limp Bizkit
14. "Nottingham Lace" - Buckethead
15. "The Remedy" - Abandoned Pools

That's the room. You should be able to climb up the ivy (I think) and step on a switch to lower the water. There are like, two or three skulltulas on the wall, so hookshot 'em before you start climbing. I think if you climb around there, there is a door also, leading to more chests/keys/areas. But, I may be wrong :/
So there are keys in the block room? SHoudl I have the lense of truth already?
I'm just going strictly by memory here, but you shouldn't have the lens yet. I can't remember if there are keys in the block room, but I do know that there is a door that leads to one in there.

You shouldn't have the lens yet, and you untwist the hallway using the Bow. Shoot the metal eye.
If I'm thinking of the right area, there's the twisted hallway, room with a hand, then the area with the stairs and the pictures of ghosts. Do you have the bow yet?
And no, I don't know the deal with the Ocarina and Islam.

I dont have the bow yet, and that one wall with the skulltulas that I have to climb to get to the place with the button, the one skulltula is just barely out of range of the hookshot, so I guessed I needed the bow, cause you cant climb pass it either.

Oh, thanks a lot there, pal. now I'll have to burn my computer in order to purify it from the suckiness you have bestowed upon it.
The rest seemed quite good, though. I'll see if I can download any.

The cradle of filth and Dimmu Borgir turned me right off, too.
I mean, there's more to music than how much you love satan, like, I don't know, INSTRUMENTS.
My band Sin City ScoundrelsOur song Vixen of Doom
HATE.
Because 2,000 years of "For God so loved the world" doesn't trump 1.2 million years of "Survival of the Fittest."

The symbol of the Gerudo tribe, which is also on the blocks you push, is the Islam star and moon. I don't know why it's in the game, though.
I have a hard time picking just one favorite from Ocarina of Time. However, I rock out to Saria's Song every time I head into the Lost Woods. It's so catchy.
I have several CD's, MP3's, and MIDIs of video game music. I'm such a dork. But it's pretty good. Right now, I'm listening to the Xenogears soundtrack. They used a full orchestra and a Bulgarian choir.
