Well what you need to do is go deep into the geek forest. Past the pokemon fans, D&D players, anime freaks, trekkies, star war fans, bbs posters, and war re-enacters, there you will find the geek fairy, maybe then you can become geeky enough.

The Portal works off quality of flash (or its supposed to) not the authors popularity or lack there of. If we were to take down Jeff's flash, where enxt? Weise's flash shouldn't be taken down. It's just as valid as other flash on NG. Some may find it offensive, but there's plenty of flash that falls under that umbrella as well. What should be done has already been said. Leave it with the rest of the NG flash in the archives of the portal and simply put a link to it from the front page so people can find it, as it is a target of much viewing.
As has already been said by myself and others, that will allow both to avoid the drain on the database from searches and the idea that NG is profiting from the shootings.

Its interesting read through is old reviews (prior to March). H e replied to alot of them, and seemed just as normal as any other flash artist. Although one response I did find chilling.

Now, can those things be marked as abusive. You know, the ones with out merit saying he should go burn in hell and such, cause if so, everyone should go and start marking stuff, get some whistle points.

I said this elsewhere in another thread, but although it goes against what the reviews are for, this is a really different situation than any flash here on NG has experienced. It provides users and visitors to unleash their anger, grief, outrage, and any other negativity they need to express. Which is also one of the arguments why flash like this is allowed on NG. It's an outlet, however temporary.

The truly abusive reviews can be eventually removed, but a better idea (I think) would be to move them to a separate place, like a section about this chapter in NG history. A day will come when people see it, not knowing what it is, and review accordingly.

Eh, I am to lazy to go through. Most of them are technically abusive, because they are making comments about the author, but he is dead, so, eh. Lets see, first it was Regulars, then Hominid, then Socialist, then Hominid. Well, the little lab puppy my sister is fostering from our local SPCA is about a week old now, still can not see, and we will have it for maybe another 5 weeks. She just has to save every little animal, I hope her and my mother do not get attached, we do not need another dog, since we already have 4. She just couldn't let them put it to sleep, she also complains all the time about how many people are unfit to have a pet. THEY ARE ANIMALS! Not to sound cruel or anything, but come on, you can go to far, she tries to swerve around bloody frogs on the road, FROGS DAMN IT!

Well, your sister is right in that respect. Some people are unfit to raise animals, least children. I'm not part of PETA or anything like that, but I agree that there are some folks who are too stupid and cruel to take care of animals.

You don't get it, every single day she goes to work, she comes back, and talks about the stupid people there, it seems as though she believes no one is fit to have pets. During the summer I was up in Ohio helping my grandparents move, they had two houses, and sold one, but couldn't live in the other, so they bought a new one. One day we go over to the house they still own, which is where my old cat, Ruby, lives, why she is there is a long story. Well, Ruby was wondering around outside, and what does Ben do, he pees on her, HE PISSED ON MY 15 YR OLD CAT! He is spoiled and is the favorite of my Grandma, so he did not even get punished, he should have gotten a good whoppin. He peed on my cat, I will never forgive him for that, I love that cat, its only 3 years younger than me.

Okay, Empanado, I am actually going to be serious. I find your 'solution' to the problem rather barbaric and quite disgusting. The 'eye for an eye' retalition does have its purpose in certain areas, but not this one. I do not wish to emotionally scar my seven year old cousin by pissing on him, his belongings, his drinks, or his food.
