El-oh-el! Our intellectuality certainly outcomes those no-good commoners! After all, we pretty much just creat more and more topics about Bush, abortion and gay people, and repeat our views over and over again. That's why we are the elite. Full of brighteous minds such as Mr. Metalhead676. El-Oh-El! We're so classy.

I wonder how I missed that...

Something the the article doesn't mention is the fact that there are still 3 to 4 other people working on every single order that comes through the drive through that cannot possibly be outsourced. Someone to take the money, someone to prepare the food, someone to gather the food and during busy times someone to help gather and hand it out. The thing that doesn't make much sense is it's one of these people who takes the order and even if they weren't doing that they wouldn't be expendable. One thing the call center might accomplish though is freeing up the employee who takes the order to do other things so the orders can get out quicker. For McDonalds speed and accuracy is the most important and giving people more time would improve both of those things.

HOLY FUCK, aren't we a tool of the system? Jesus, do you have to slob every company's knob all the time befeel? Half the time you put in an order it comes out wrong.

And they aren't gonna have less resopisbilities, sinc eit will mean people will get cut. Its a way to save money so why keep that extra person on now? I once asked for a plain cheeseburger, and I got it, just without the cheese, yet, I was still charged for a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger, though, hardees is still better, mmmmmmmmm, well, off to a Mexican buffet. I hope things there are good on the whole.

The roads were so bad last night I skidded into a snow bank and ricocheted off all under 20 mph.

That phone line will get so many crank calls I can't imagine why they would think it would save money.

Getting accurate orders out is important for precisely the reasons you guys have cited. If people associate McDonalds with fucking up their orders then they won't eat at McDonalds and thus McDonalds loses business. It's not being a corporate tool, it's common sense.

I can't stand eating at fastfood to be honest... I go to McDonalds for breakfast every now and then, and that's about it.

I don't know, maybe it's just my size. If I walk into any fast food restaurant I get these looks from people behind the counter like their about to wet themselves. Oh dear lord... how much food is that fat bastard going to order?! I'd hate to actually have to do work while I was at work! I've actually gotten dagger-like stares from people at these places... like they would just love to jump over the counter and beat the crap out of me for placing an order.

Dude that's sweet!!! McDonalds employees live in constant fear of being put in their place by teenagers. Whenever I see a teen come in I wet myself and tell my manager "Oh no Pete, they're going to start some rambuctiousness." I can tell you're a real badass too, loud noises and spilling things! God damn, don't it takes almost 40 seconds to fill a mop bucket? You sadistic bastard. Do you also go play in the balls and harrass small children?! It takes some really big balls to do that one. And there is absolutely nothing we can do about it... well except kick you out as you said. But we're still scared because we know you'll come back, and give us more money.
