Martin Sexton. Jandek.
Those two I think you might like. Martin Sexton is the only person I pay money in advance to see live anymore. Jandek never tours.

Why do I have the feeling this is going to be easy listening? I DEMAND METAL!!! I'm getting it anyways, though, just to expand my horizons.

I almost forgot a couple things I was going to post.
(1) My father told his students that he would have my mother bake cookies for them, what is so interesting about this you ask. Well, my father is a senior chief petty officer in the US Navy, and teaches (not all the time, he is like the head enlisted man there or something) at a Nuclear Training facility (reactors not weapons). I just find that really strange, is it the Navy, or kindergarten, do they take a nap after they get their cookies.
(2) My sister, who works at the SPCA near us, brought home a 5 day old labrador puppy home, because they were going to put it to sleep. So now we are going to have it in our house for about 6 weeks, with our 4 other dogs, a snake, and a bird that mimics the sound of a door really well, which can just freak you out sometimes. Hopefully I will not have to take care of the pup, since my sister plans on taking it to school and work with her, I sure as hell hope we do not keep it, because it is a lab and it would be an indoor dog.

Jandek is DEFINITELY not 'easy listening.' It's fucking creepy folk type music. He's a cult figure in that nobody knows squat about him.
Martin is just awesome.
The only metal type music I listen to anymore are KMFDM, old Ministry, and Front242. So I can't help you there.

Sevendust, Slipknot, Rammstein, Manson, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Otep, Hatebreed... yeah I know, they're all mainstream but I thought you might not have thought of a few.

OK, I totally fucked up the conversation. I'm sorry.

Oh, I forgot to mention Apocalyptica. They aren't exactly metal, but if you like classical at all, or the sounds of electric chellos and drums, then you might want to take a look into thier stuff. No vocals though.

I forgot the mention The Great Kat. She's a Julliard trained classicist, that does shred metal. Released 'Wagner's War' not too long ago. Vivaldi's Four Seasons in something like 11 minutes, too. AMAZING.

Plenty of times darling, and right back'atcha...
BTW, by definition, a mestizo is a combination of European and Native American (mainly Aztec, Mayan, etc in orgin). So I do have some white in me... it's just Spanish in orgin.
I mean, BeFell is more darker then me... I don't wear shorts, I wear jeans 24/7-- you can imagine how white my legs are at this second.
Or that my sense of humor consists of insulting other people? Or that I devoutly believe anything I read that was written over a thousand years ago that had been horribly translated into english, but can't comprehend the plain English of Darwins "Origin of the Species"?

I have Pilot Doofy's fake gun. BTW... Bought off ebay. It's all right. Got it for like 3 dollars, but the bastard charged 15 dollars on the shipping and handling.

They're very classy--
I like Fade into Black with violins better then the original song...
But I wouldn't say they're metal at all.
It's sophisiticated and refined metal music...

The closest I know to any of this is the s & m album. It' where metallica played along with a symphony. I loved hearing the sounds expanded upon.

That was my first metallica album. . . after listening to it, I couldn't resist going out and buying the rest of their shit.
I just found out some of Henry Rollins' music is techno-esque. It's kinda neat.

Its amazing the stuff you find in the middle of the night. About everything submitted to the portal is crud, so free blam points, found a good movie, though the posting isn't that good, especially politics, when there are times you are the only person here. Now its time for a nice few hours of sleep.

Everything seems better in the middle of the night. Your sense of quality of everything get skewed and you wake up and think "Why the hell did I think that was a good idea?"

Yeah it's hard to really 'classify' them into a specific category, aside from 'amazing'! Then again, I'm somewhat eclectic when it comes to music, hence why I'm blown away by their stuff (metal + classical??? Hell yes!).
I gotta say, I enjoy a lot of forms of music to the exception of most country, most pop, and a lot of reggae (to the exception of a few great artists of course).
...and then he wondered to himself why anyone would care lol
And Maus, I may enjoy Metal, but even Kat freaks me out!!! X_X
Though yes, from what I have heard she's pretty good.

I suddenly remember the visits to some guy's house, now this guy was into pretty much all sorts of metal and its derivates, along with some friends, and he had a crapload of videos at his computer. Y'know, the basics, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Slayer, etc. Also, some bands a little less well-known, like, I don't know, Dark Funeral.
I specially remember the video of this guy named Michelangelo or something. The guy was totally nuts. He played 2 guitars at the same time, and his goddamn hands moved so freakin' fast that I thought he was some kind of a nazi genetical experiment fuckup.
Anyways, I recently heard that this Michelangelo guy got arthritis on his fingers, and he was at his late twenties. XD. I think. Not sure if it's true, but it's hella funny anyways. Remember: God did not want us to play two guitars at the same time like a fucking maniac. It's against morality and nature! It's wrong! Just like Jews, mestizos, mormons, filthy homosexuals and rap music!

My iPod came today. It is awesome.
My only complaint is the earbuds. They need to make child sized ones, my ears are wayyyy too small for them. :'(

Ugh, I personally can't stand earbuds. Even the highest quality ones hurt my ears if I wear them for more than 15 minutes. None-the-less I'm still jealous =P
