Venom, I realized my junk mail filter was automatically deleting junk mail. Your gmail emails fall under that category. Email it one last time and I'll get it this time.
Apologies for the delay and thanks for your patience.

I saw that too. I actually said, "Where's The Food?" out loud.
And too bad dividers can't be added, Shrike. I thought those looked good. Either way, I love the theme.
I'm already using Firefox in greater capacity than I ever have before because of this style. My IE was bug free so I used to use that as my main, but now I think I'll finally make the switch. Thank you Shrike.

So, I did my taxes today, and I found out that this one payment company that I was with for a while used some random Soc. Security number and not mine. So, I call up the place to see if they can fix it, and the phone number is disconnected, so basically... people are fucking morons and we seriously need to stop passing laws in order to protect them from Natural Selection. Fucking idiots like that don't deserve to breed.
And speaking of idiots. My friend and I went to this bar yesterday to just hang out. And this one guy, who's totally hammered, comes up to us and is like "scoot over!" and starts talking to us like he knows us. He asks my friend "what's the hardest you ever came" and she's like... "um... I can't answer that". It was fucking weird. Then after the guy's handler (girlfriend) comes to pry him away, another guy comes up and sits down and starts trying to have "deep" conversation. As if what he's saying is deeply philosophical. Now, I'm not that smart, or whatever, but I've read Nietzsche, and when someone talks about liking Nietzsche, I know they're talking bullshit. Anyway, it was just totally fucking random. Then when I get home and relax for a bit, then at 2am my ex-boss calls and is like "hey, I'm coming to vegas" and I said "ok". And he says "where should I get a hotel" and I tell him to get one wherever he wants, and that the cheapest ones are down town. And he asks "you don't want to stay in someplace nice?" And I told him that I'm not going to be staying with him, I'm going to stay at my house. o_O I told him he shouldn't be asking me to stay with him because 1. I have a boyfriend whom I very much love, 2. he's got a "significant other" (basically a wife, but they're not married), and 3. he should NOT be trying to make sexual advances. Then he mumbled something (seeing as how he had woken up and it was 2am) and I said he should go back to sleep because he's being incoherent. And he says "ok goodnight-" *click*. That fucking weirded me out. I really don't want him expecting anything from me. If he hasn't bought the Vegas tickets yet, I think I'm going to tell him not to come here. o_O Anyway, just thought I'd share my bizarre men of the night story.

Well, even better then. I only thought you were mocking me...because when I said that, I had been forced into position of being an asshole to everyone in that thread.

I'm really not trying to piss them off. I presented my opinion, held to it...and they made out like I was some dog-raping, devil-incarnate. I've had more personal insults throw at me in that thread, than I have accumulatively in the past three months. And, IMO, I think, in the face of that, I've done a damn good job not reciprocating the same back to them.

Anyhow if you have dismissed the abortion thread that is currently on the first page, please examine my main post (the first one). I would enjoy any responses and look forward to finding the chinks in my armour.

If your thread is dying, it's probably not that special in the first place. This is not the room to get people to post in your thread. And you're not a "regular" yet, so please be so kind as to not try and peddle your wears here.

Actually it was not my thread. Yes, the thread was relatively unoriginal. But I had something to say about it and I think my posts are well thought out, moreso than the common postings. Anyhow, I have now had a reply.
And if this is not my place to "peddle:, it is my place to spam and lounge which i did at the end. I probably took you just as long to read and respond to this comment as it would have to find and read my post, so I have no regret.
I post on many forums, some of which I no longer post on, and have never hated noobs, even when my post count exceeded 10K. I dislike people who have nothing to say of value. . . which this thread seems to be the place for after lurking for several weeks.
If you wish to take offense to my appeal, ignore it, and all will be well. I did not intend to make any offense with it.

Nah, I did it last night. And I got all these people like "omg you don't have to talk inbetween every song... omg this song sux" etc. etc. So I don't do it too often. I have to find positive motivation... and people are needy nagging whores.

I think that in the time I've been posting here... I have only ever been publicly warned about bannage once, and for just cause to boot, (Shrike made gave me a warning after I posted an ASCII only message in the lounge under an alt).

We were cleaning out one of my Grandfather's sheds yesterday... and found 10 one gallon glass jugs full of homeade wine. Good wine I'm told, not like the crummy peach wine I sampled last week either. I'm not sure if I want to try any of it though.
My Dad got onto the conversation of winemaking with my Grandfather yesterday while we were visiting him at the hospital, and my Dad made a suggestion for a homemade wine even I like the sound of, and I'm not much of a wine drinker; Cherry wine. This out to be interesting...

I love wine. I'd totally be up for it. I don't like white wine very much but hey, I'm willing to try new things. I'd say go for it. If you don't like it, you don't have to finish the glass. And who knows, it might be fantastic, and you'll never be able to have it again (assuming your grandpa doesn't make wine anymore)

Cherry wine.
If that's like the cherry wine I tasted, you probably wouldn't like it. Just too goddamn sweet. Like, sticky-sweet.

The cherry suggestion was something recent... there's none made at the moment. But most of what we brought home yesterday was stuff like Blackberry wine, Concord Grape (I think), and various other wines of that nature. Not to say I won't turn down a sample of it if offered though.
My grandfather told us he had been making wine for the past two years, we just weren't aware of how much he had in store. Now we're just wondering how muc of it he's drank since he started.

If you feel the need to. Though, I must say that I was referring to the fact that I've only been threatened with a ban once during my time here, I've never actually done anything to require a swift wack with teh ban stick.

wine
Try it. I'm not much of a wine drinker myself, but occasionally I'll find something alright. Champagne is alright. And about half of the wine I made turned out very tasty, if a bit fruit and not very alcoholic.
Finally, if my roomie goes to the show this Fri, going to try to get him to buy some vodka, so I'd have something for my flask that I can sneak in. First time I'll be "propositioning" him, he's sorta straight, only rarely drinks, never gets wasted. I guess. *shrug* We'll see.
