Meh, I'm going to a state school and it's pretty nice. Besides, I'm really liking the fact that I won't be several thousand dollars in debt once I'm done.

We dont have provincial schools, all our schools are publically funded (with a few exceptions). My tution is $5500 a year plus lodging. Our tution is slightly higher than most other schools in the province.

I always feel left out during the big school discussions, and this poem I've always liked popped into my head. :)

You know, when you say the syllables of 'Idaho', it sounds like:

Wow thats not that bad at all. I got to a pretty good state school and it runs me about $4,200 a year in tuition. Most of the private schools I had looked at were going to run about $12,000 per year with not many scholarships. I think I made the smart choice.

Hmm... I'm guessing that Dan Brown will write mad crap about that in his next book. I'm guessing it will be called "The Illuminatis chose the names of the U.S. states, in order to protect the son of Jesus and the Pope, while rabid flying pigs were trying to prevent women from reaching high hierarchy levels inside the Church. Also, my dog barfed on me today. By Dan Brown"

I just do a tuck through the front, it's a pretty long tail too so it makes for a nice illusion. How do you think I got a fiance? ; )

Oh, and rise we shall.
RISE WE SHALL!!!
I go to University of Memphis. They like to solve their parking problems by building pay only garages on top of the previously free parking lots, and then gouging. Then they start "expanding" by building fountains and "vocational training centers" over the rest of the free spaces. This saps the budget of course, but they'll just raise tuition to cover it like they always do, and use that as an excuse to beg for more state money.

Well, you do a very good job of it... hell, you might have even convinced me to make the 5 hour move. Although, I would miss the "small-town" atmosphere of Ottawa to be honest.
There's no real small-town atmosphere in Ottawa.

I quite the Chaucer class...
It got too much-- so much hot air and bullshit.
FOR GODDAMN SAKES!
How am I gonna get participation points if the teacher won't allow me to finish what I was saying? I was something like--
Me- So yeah, I believe that what she did really sucks. And I also believe...
The Bitch- Sucks is a transitive verb.
Me- Okay.
The Bitch- Complete the sentence.
At this point we're at each other's face. She is so passive agressive with me, and I can't handle that type of shit from someone who is "higher" then me. For Christ sake! Everyone in class uses slang and idioms, so why is she picking on me?
At this point I got fed up, and she looks like she's REALLY enjoying this. And the rest of the conversation goes like this:
The Bitch- Sucks is a transitive verb. Sucks what?
Me- Balls! How's that a transitive verb! Criseyde sucks balls!
The whole class starts to laugh, I leave, and now I have one less class to worry about.

I'm sorry... but looking at this situation overall, I'm surprised your teacher didn't know what to expect when she asked you to finish the sentence.

I'm here to say that homemade wine is not the best stuff in the world. My grandfather has a mason jar full of homemade peach wine in the refrigerator, and I got a swig of it after dinner. Went down smooth, but tasted like peach kool-aid that had soured and was then mixed with diesel fuel.

Good move, fli. You'll never get anywhere with a prof who's looking for confrontations in a participation based class.

YES THAT IS A BONG
That's pretty funny. When I was younger and more adventurous, I once put a bong in my leather vest to hide it from the cops, who were looking for someone else. It was a pretty big bong, too. I walked all the way home from school with it (I have no idea why the fuck I brought it there in the first place...)

Hello everyone who does not know me, and the 1 or 2 people who do. I have decided, again, to leave the forums, again. This time though I am going to go find my life, I lost it about........3 years ago. I am not really leaving for good, I will check up every now and again. Guess BeFell will have to find another n00b to tell to 'stfu'. I would like to ask jmaster to tell DAK, or DAK himself, to reserve me a spot on the NGC. I would hate for another hick from SC to take my place. I will post everynow and again, but for now, goodbye. Oh, jmaster, do not go telling people bad things about me.
