Yeah, treatment of thyroid problems isn't hard. We give our shetland sheepdog half a pill and the morning, and half at night. My father's lapsa apsa gets seizures for some reason, and has to take 1 1/2 pills in morning and night. Seizures are bad, they flail around, might hit something, start foaming, and the anal sacs in their butt might explode, and boy do those smell. Good luck with your dog.

At least you know how to drive through the snow. If it snows an inch in Nashville or any of the surrounding areas, society ceases to function.

It actually seems that a good many people on General are either high or drunk right now.

Or that they are all 13/14 and want to be high because that would make them the coolest.

Tell me about it. I've locked/deleted a shitload of threads today, it's ridiculous. Worse than the weekend, and that's saying something. They didn't give those runts the day off school, did they?

Since no one else seemed to mention it, I will.
Hunter S. Thompson killed himself Feb. 20, in his Colorado home.
Thompson was a revolutionary journalist, with his 'gonzo journalism' style of reporting...as well as being a fantastically talented author. One of his most popular books, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream" was made into a movie, starring Johny Depp (who looked eerily like the actual Thompson, IMO).
I've held this man as somewhat of an Idol. The whole 'Gonzo Journalism' involved reporting and writing stories by placing the journalist in a third person perspective to the story; It was reporting the story from a personal point of view. His style of journalism was used by many, including Tom Wolfe.
I'm saddened by his suicide, but cannot say I'm completely surprised. It was a strange ending for a strange man, who's led a very extraordinary life.
I swear by my life - and my love of it - that I will never live my life for the sake of another man, or ask another man to live his for mine.

And, yes, I realize I might be the only guy who gives a fuck about Hunter S. Thompson.

Just a quick philosophical question that came up today during work. This question only goes out to the straight men, even though the homosexual men, and/or the straight/homosexual women may answer as well if they want to.
Would you let a guy screw you in the ass for $40,000,000?
A lot of the guys said they would at least contemplate it, a couple said no way in hell, not even for a billion dollars. Me, I'd probally do it, hell I might even like it. But then again that might be why some of the guys said that they wouldn't do it.

An agreement to the money on paper, reviewed by a lawyer and signed infront of a notery, plus a condom, probibly.

Definitely! It's Forty Million Dollars!
Anyone who's telling you they wouldn't either has enough that that's chump change or is seriously repressing their true sexuality.

Chances are that if person b wants to pay person a that much money for a sex act, person b has something that isn't that easy to get rid of. So no, I wouldn't do it.

At the drop of a hat.

I might, depending on the circumstances. There would have to be the proper documentation to show a legal contract, as well as a witness to give testimony that the act was indeed done. A condom would also have to be used, and the person who would be screwing me in the ass would have to take tests to show that he has no venerial diseases. There would also have to be a confidential disclosure agreement, cause I would not like everyone to know, that I got screwed in the ass.

No videotape, those can circulate, I just want to be sure that after I get screwed, I don't get screwed.

Obviously one would make certain that the offer was genuine and such. The basic question is, technicalities and such aside, would you do it?

I don't think I would whore myself to anyone, male or female for any amount of money. There are more important things in life.

I do agree with that there are more important things in life than money. My anal virginity is not one of them though, and 40 million would definately help my achieve some of my goals of helping other people. And like I said, hell I might even like it.
