I bought, and beat, Splinter Cell 2, recently.
And was it just me...or did it have the most boring storyline EVER.

Like...I remember the first one being a whole lot better. I mean, the sequal's gameplay was fan-fuckint-tastic. But...it was like watching The Jim Lehrer Report, in between really cool levels.

It should be illegal for people who don't speak english to order fast food. Come to think of it it should be illegal for anyone to speak any language other than english.

Even though it isn't the most commonly spoken laguage in the world? Perhaps we shoudl all speak mandarin, since it is the most commonly spoken laguage. Did you know China has the worlds largest number of people who speak english in the world?

Until American born people stop butchering American English, I'm not going to complain about ESL people. How many languages does everyone speak? I can read Spanish and 1337 pretty fluently. i took three years of French, but barely remember any of it. :\ Then there's Igpay Atinlay, lol...ay. <.<

If I go back to school, I'm forcing myself to take Latin.

Glad to be of service.

I was listening to Peaches one day, and my roommate got the lyrics stuck in his head. He told me about a month later, I find it hilarious..

Well Canada definately differs then that of course, we speak French and English.

The language of the world is not English. The language of the world is Music.

A good percentage of the people who speak ESL were not exposed to 'traditional' english. It's like expecting a American to automatically pick up a british dialect.

How many languages does everyone speak?

English and a decent German, with a lil spanish

Could be worse. I had Blind Gaurdian running through my head for two weeks straight last year. The only difference was I enjoyed it...

It was weird to see me at work bagging groceries and breaking into a headbanging routine every now and then, what with all the muzak they play in a grocery store. People would see me headbanging to the music in my head while Elton John was going in the background and people would look at me like I had lost my mind.

I like to say that I can speak English, French, Spanish and German.. However... in reality? English, and now... some German. I took French for five years in HS. Then I took a semester of Spanish. Now I'm on my second semester of German.

I'm pretty poor at foreign languages. It's mainly because to understand it, I have to actually study, concentrate on the classwork - basically put some effort into it.

I can understand the gist of any of those languages written... Can understand French and German spoken somewhat, if it's slow and standard. I'm starting to really lose my French as German replaces it though. I only have one slot in my brain for a foreign language, apparently.

I've probably mentioned it, but I'm going to Germany next fall, study abroad. It should really help my German, provided I don't simply hang around a bunch of other transfer students speaking English. Cheapest way I'll ever get to Europe, anyways.

.
A general life update - I'm not going to be in Alaska over the summer afterall. BP-Amoco limited the job I was going to apply for, to direct family members only. Bastards. Would have been making $16/hr. Looks like I'll make a third of that back home. Bah.

Venom, I have classes from 11-2 on Monday, a meeting at 7. *shrug* If you'd be around, then take a looksee at the college directory. My dorm is easy to find. ;-)

In my "Survey of the Recording Industry" class today, we touched on the subject of Copyrights, and the teacher brought up the subect of a video circulating around the internet of a rather robust man lip synching to a hungarian dance song, asking "Isn't something like this considered infringement?"

He asked if anyone knew where to find it, and I sheepishly raised my hand. The video did not load until after class ended, so I get the feeling my teacher will be playing it again for the entire class on Monday.

THE NUMA NUMA DANCE WILL ROB ME OF MY SANITY!!!

Uh, yeah. The folks at work today were talking about it at our smoking corner. One of them remembered me mentioning the site. SO busted. :D We went inside, I logged on (everybody was in awe of the ranking system) and pulled up Numa Numa out of my favorites. They cracked up laughing, and the office thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm sorry, but I don't see what's so great about the Numa Numa Dance. It just doesn't grow on me.

I just figured out why I don't view entries under judgment. Some sicko submitted a video of a dog getting shot. My stomach is still churning.

I don't understand Numa Numa either.

I think the worsest NG submission had to be the abortion videos that came out last year during late spring early summer...
