yeah, I'm really lazy when it comes to posting. Though I've been lurking for what seems like ages. And I have posted in general a few times, but mostly only in the more serious topics.

Who edited it? There isn't anything technically wrong, but some of the grammar is unusual to see in published books.

I was wondering why I got a royalty check. I was never informed that a book was shipping out, or I would have signed it. I'm sorry, man. I'll send you along a hug in an envelope.
Prepare for liveblogging on The New Democrat tonight, as Bush stumbles through another SOTU.

Wow.... the originator of one of the biggest threads on NG posts in the topic he makes, and so few people recognize him it doesn't create a buzz......
Who'dve ever thought we'd make it this far?

I'll ship it out to you for personalizing after I finish reading it so I can personally review it at the same time.

A few other interesting facts.
The taxes in the Vatican certainly are high.
The United States spends more on the military than the rest of the top ten do combined.

At the pre-SOTU press conference:
Q: Scott, last night, in an amicus brief filed before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Justice Department came down in favor of displaying the Ten Commandments in courthouses and statehouses around the country. The question is, does the President believe in commandment number six, "Thou shalt not kill," as it applies to the U.S. invasion in Iraq?
MR. McCLELLAN: Go ahead. Next question. Ken, go ahead.

As to the glasses comment, I do indeed have glasses. My problem is far sightedness though... I've got 15/20 vision without my glasses on, I just need them for reading and driving. It's amazing how many times I've been flipped off by contact wearers for telling them that...
JHMX; Nice to see you.

On a different note, my Dad's test results came back today, and has a blockage of the coronary vein leading to the heart. He is headed to Centennial Medical Centre on Monday to find out how severe it is...
Doctor: Your coronary artery is blocked. This is what we call "the widow maker," because if it explodes, you DIE. I'm recommending you stay overnight for a series of tests for in the morning...
Dad: I have to go to work.
Doctor: I wouldn't do that if I were you.
Dad: But I have to go to work.
Doctor: Take an aspirin and pray.

For us politicos, it's the perfect general thread! I'm currently supporting the conservation (Mod Militia) segment, although I may change sides.....

Ships make for convenient (and better defended especially if the navy is effective) missile platform.

Wow, that thread grew in the few hours I was away. I was on the ground floor Dagging it up. Although that Napoleon comment was lost on the General dross.
I found out today that the reason I didn't get anywhere with that English class last week was that my teacher went into surgery and the person who was supposed to convey the message wasn't in their office when I came looking.

If you're being serious, there's a little bar below the space where you type your message that says "attachment". Click browse and find the picture you want.

ALRIGHT!!!
It didn't even occur to me :S
Bum apparently deposits or bps occasionally, I noticed his VP went up +0.01 on last Saturday's VP list. So he's still alive at least. Unless it was Funk's doing. Then Bum's condition is still uncertain.
He should come post once a month, just as a reassurance.
