Man, I've been stuck on Lieutenant for months now. Of course I haven't been blamming anything, so I guess it all works together.

I'm eating two slices of toast with home made butter. I had nothing to do today what with all the torrential rain coming down here, so I used the cream in the fridge. It's pretty good stuff, but I always end up feeling incredibly fat at the end of the day after making three bricks of butter. You know?

You know what? You shouldn't feel fat!
Actually, I'll share a bit of myself here. I'm on the Atkins diet. I just started it, after seeing the results of a couple of my friends, and it's all about cutting sugars but not the fat or the protein. I don't eat much at all as it is, but after cutting out the sweet stuff, and the carbs?
I'm not kidding, I lost 12 pounds since July 3rd. And that was even after having a Coke and two beers that night at that biker bar. LOL
Don't worry about eating the butter unless you've got a big intake of carbs. The bread will hurt you more, which is the weird thing. I dunno how it works scientifically? But I know the basic thing is...
The first thing your body burns for energy is sugar/carbs. If there's no sugar/carbs to burn, it burns fat instead. SO WEIRD that you can eat all the proteins you want, and not gain weight. And I don't mean like...gorge? But enough to feel satisfied. It's just odd. But I love it. It's made me get all creative with seafood and eggs. Not together, though.

And would you believe I don't know anyone outside of Newgrounds who uses Newgrounds?
I mean that everyone I know who uses NG is in NG, not in real life. But you are in real life, only yours, not mine. Blarg! You know exactly what I mean.

i work in a plant that builds parts for machines that are used to mass produce boxes for various businesses like pizza hut, and snapple. in the later stages of the development of these machine parts we use various tools to bend long sharp rigid strips of metal into designs that are mounted to a part that is placed in a press. the press then runs long strips of cardboard on a conveyer belt through the press. the press cuts out the boxes etc. etc. etc.......... anyways one of the guys i work with was holding one of the long sharp metal strips the wrong way while he was bending it and it slipped out of his hand and basicly cut the tip of his finger off. hes really luckey because even if you just brush up against one of those metal strips the wrong way it will cut you wide open. the gloves we wear only provide minimal protection.if you are careless while handleing the strips they will cut right through the gloves into your flesh. hes ok though. i took him to the hospital and the doctor got him all patched up.

wow thats pretty cool man. i know a guy who cut his own hand off with a circular saw at work on purpose. hes got a big thick scar all the way around his wrist. his hand doesnt really work. it just kinda hangs there. his hand is frozen into a claw like position. the two coolest things about this guy are: #1 he looks exactly like stephen king.
#2 he wears crazy ass outfits everywhere he goes. for instance: once he went to the mall wearing a suit of real armor complete with chainmail, a steel helmet, big sturdy midevil style leather boots, and a big ass braveheart sword replica. that didnt go over very well with securtiy though. the guy doesnt wear any regular t-shirt and jeans type outfits at all anymore. whenever my friends and i see him he ll be dressed up like a pirate, or a viking, or a barbarian or something, and all his outfits are totally authentic looking. hes totally out of his mind, and im not baseing this on the fact that he cut his own hand off or the outfits he wears. i dont get to hang out with him very much because hes usually not there when my friend and i go to see him. its a shame really cause we always have a blast when we hang out with him.

Mr_Plad, you should report that to the people in charge of national safety in the workplace. I'm in Canada, so I don't know the name, but that sounds very unsafe to me. You couldn't be punished for it (it's your right to have a safe workplace), and you'd be safer.

Sorry I'm not too active right now, guys. I'm still watching movies and reading the BBS, so I'm not really gone... just not active.
Congrats on the audio portal, FUNK.
On another note, I ordered a baseball bat not too long ago, and it should be here soon.

we are up to safety guidelines. o.s.h.a. inspects us regularly. my co worker wasnt being very careful with the metal strips while he was bending them. its similar to what might happen in a factory where swords were manufactured if someone tried to sharpen a sword while holding it by the blade.

Hey Ted, you're a mod so I'll ask you:
Are there any plans whatsoever to increase the functionality of the BBS? I think we could use some EDIT and DELETE buttons for our posts. Now I know such features wouldn't likely be used by people who's entire posts consist of something like "OGM BSUH!"- but I think they would be really useful for those of us who want to correct stupid mistakes or delete posts and threads that we later decide were dumb.

It's been widely discussed about having an edit or delete button, but it's been decided that it would be misused far too much. Users editing posts and claiming they never said anything offensive.
If you do have a post that you would like deleted, tell me here, and I'll be glad to take care of it.

And yes, FUNK did take my goats. He said I wasn't sharing with him, so he took them all and pushed me down. He's mean.
