Today. Fucking. Sucked.

I did data entry all day, which I didn't mind, because it was all numbers on a spreadsheet. Typety type tab. Typety type type tab. Repeat x 1000000.

What i minded was reading people's chickenscratch. Also, how hard is it to understand that when you fill out a timesheet, round UP, and write in decimal increments. One guy wrote all his times as 8h38m. Now, any other time, I would say 'fuck it,' and enter 8.75. However, we are having a Wage and Hour audit, so no cutting corners. I have to go through 2 years (!) worth of time sheets and enter them.

I'm beginning to wonder how people even got paid there. Everyday, we uncover a new mess to be sorted out. Messes that are tedious to unravel.

Needless to say, I was unable to devote my attentions to scanning through the Lounge. Hell, I didn't even spend any time on the web today.

That's why where I work we do all the time sheets through a program called Stromberg. Too bad you can haxxor it merely by changing your PC's time.....

I just got my new glasses yesterday, and boy are they throwing me for a loop. If they were any stronger, I could see through walls. Good thing I have today and tomorrow off--I couldn't work when I'm this loopy.

And if I can keep it up it’ll be better for me. I really need to kick this habit. See you around.

If you think you need to take time off because posting is having a negative effect on your life man, ok, totally understandable, and I wish you luck with that. But if it's something I've said? No, no, I don't want to do that. Look, I AM NOT MAD AT YOU! Only Befell said that, the last post I made here last night was to try and say that I wasn't. What I'm mad at is the behavior pattern that is cropping up of late where people want to seemingly hold admins to different behavioral standards. Hey, if you think someone legitimately is acting like a fool, no matter who they are, I think you have a right to call them on it. The problem I see is that when it comes to admins, too often you see people do that, but then they want somebody to go back them up about it or something. Honestly, I don't see people very often ask for back up here, or anywhere else on the forums, I personally do not do that really. Then you have instead of back up, people who go over there specifically to look good to the admin by being nice, or maybe they try and tell the guy what he was doing wrong without any ulterior motive, and we get a big drama-rama like this...my point? We should all be fucking better then this shit, if you think Wade says something wrong, handle it with him the same way you do with any other user, but also keep in mind who he is, and that coming over to a big place like the Reg's Lounge and asking for help may not be beneficial to your case. I'm not mad at ANYONE personally, we're all guilty of perpetuating this kind of shit, even me for saying not to do it perpetuates it. So I'm going to make this my last post on the subject, though I had hoped I was doing that last night, but since people seemed to take it as me laying personal blame on their doorstep, no, not my intention at all, because I'm just as guilty as the next guy I feel for helping it along. All I'm asking for is that it be stopped, and that people let ME be the one to say who I am, and am not mad at.
