whats with the accusations, man? If you want to make the PC look good, I suggest doing it by showing whats good about the PC, and not focusing on what you don't like about the DAG. When you insult us, that makes you a flamer, and thus it makes the PC look like a group of flamers. People should choose which group, if any, they want to be affiliated with based on the things they like about that group, not the things they don't like about the other group. Anyways, everything I said about the DAG was true, and if you notice, the only even possibly negative thing I said about the PC was that they are impersonal. I wanted to start a propaganda war, not a flame war. Don't worry about how we look, worry about how you look. If everyone did that, we could get along just fine.

Not to flame...but this was a point I had a problem with...and I responded to it awhile back...and the flaming started, and I don't think it got answered...why do you say the PC as a group is impersonal? I've found it to be very personal on Snooble in the PC forum...perhaps since you're experiences are limited to everything outside of that, you've developed that view, or maybe it's just because you don't see the PC in each others topics all the time posting, and that's not to say there's anything wrong with three or four DAG members in one anothers topics debating and defending the point.

I like group togetherness...but sometimes it can get out of hand...right now I think we're seeing group pride and togetherness getting a little out of hand here. I mean to me, I think both sides maybe need to chill, and maybe act a little more like individuals first, and a collective second. We'd all be a little better off if we could do that.

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible for someone to have dual-membership in both the PC and DAG? I don't really see any inherent, diametrical opposition between the two groups that should prevent such a thing. You guys seem to be rivals only in that neither of you really have other groups in the politics forum to contend with...

I'm around. I post on other forums and check my email every day. Okay, almost every day. But see, I can't stand the flaming. This used to be fun until there were groups and flames and arguments outside of the usual political debates. We all get passionate about politics. But when it starts to get personal, that's where I bow out.

I make friends online. But rarely will I let it affect me personally. I have too much going for me in real life to let the internet world pull me into drama. Sorry.

I'll post. I'll continue to stand by my beliefs, regardless of what group posts what. I'll continue to be friendly with both groups.

even tho this may be true... ITS STILL FUN TO HAVE RIVALS! thats why we do it.. and there are big differences between the dag and the pc. its like the difference between microsoft and a small upstart (and maybe even better!) software company.

It would be rare, and I think impossible. It was never per-say a war between clubs, just alot of personal vendetta's. I have no problem with some members of the dag such as lyddie and shih, and funk is borderline (I dont really trust him. Something like this would probably need a vote in the PC to decide, and I doubt that they would allow it, mostly because of information reasons. There are some things we like to keep secret.

Actually, Nirv could have been a dual member, the hierarchy in the PC didn't care, but Nirv chose to leave the PC when she joined the DAG, so it is possible...it just might be hard because I'm sure some people on both sides could be really immature about it. But than such is life.
