Let's see if we can get a break from silliness.
Anyone following the basketball tournament?
Basketball is a sport, and sports are typically types of games, and I got a new system from junkie's for 2 dollars with a new game.

Yeah, I think the test of being eaten alive needs to be re-thought. Maybe the test of swinging baseball bats, perhaps?
*grabs bat*

That was that questionable blocking call, right? I kinda thought SIU might pull that one out. After Mizzou's run in the Big 12 tournament, I wasn't really expecting SIU to play them so close.
Oh well. My Oklahoma State Cowboys won, so it's all good.
Just keeping the topic at the top, because we all love the crazy shinanigans that go on in it.

This topic turned from serious to insane and to the level of the general section. Time for nerdy politics name calling...
Damn... I can't think of a good one...
Sorry Ted, you're gonna have to go alone on this one.

Me too... I know, this has turned to be a general-forum topic... but who cares, I'm joining in too... O yeah... I already have.
So I read that the great military minds of Baghdad have lit oil-filled trenches around the city in an effort to deter US airstrikes and missile strikes.
Do they think we're using old soviet technology, too?
Though I really don't see how flaming oil filled trenches are going to deter missle strikes....
They think it interferes with the laser guidance systems.
i was under the impression that most of the missles were GPS guided. which means you plug in coordinates and then.. BOOM. game over.
Yeah, unless you have Russian GPS Jamming systems.
but why would that matter hundreds of miles in the Mediterranean of the Persian Gulf? once the coordinates are imputted it's just sit and wait isn't it?

They've also started using women and children as human shields.
I'm getting angrier by the day.
