I'm gonna move to Japan someday just so I can get all the crappy games before Americans get them.

It's a bit harder to see sarcasm when it's typed. Besides, NG users are so used to people typing strange things, it's sometimes hard to tell the difference ;o

I tend to shout WTF (letter for letter) whenever I'm pissed. For some reason I feel more agressive saying that than "what the fuck."

Nah, German is way easy. Just remember, all verbs after the first stay in their basic form and go at the end of the sentence. And if you don't know the word for something, say it's english equivilent and you'll get it right half of the time.

Meh, French was ok, Spanish was easy but I just didn't like it. I've done some pronunciation with German this summer - my pronunciation is always spot-on, which is weird, because I tend to mumble in English. But mumbling a foreign language helps... Or something :s

Isn't German and English part of the same "language family?" I believe *opens history book* that the Anglo-Saxons were part of a Germanic tribe which served as the bases of languages like Danish and Norwegian. Than there was teh Romantic languages (wherever the hell they came from) that made up Spanish, French and what have you.
Why the hell am I talking about this? =/

latin pwns you all. Meium nomen est Gooie.
Spanish was totally lame. I hated every second of it. German is a lot of fun, especially when you rant to people who only speak english. French... *cough* this just in, the French as douches. Portuguese is really hard but it's cool once and if you get the hang of it.

Well, this is 10,000 posts. Wow. Big number. Kinda like 1,000 i always thought. They're similar in many ways. I'd make a big speech, but I dont want to. Suffice to say, I <3 you guys. Shrike, who has never (yet) banned me, I dont think. FUNK, who forgot to deposit for me. Ted, who put up with me. Jimsween... *Ahem* Yeah... Skvnk, for showing me the true meaning of spamming, and everyone else, even though I'm too lazy to write your aliases.
There you go, that's my speech. Happy? No? Good.

I think it's probably because you're acctually thinking about how it's supposed to sound, whereas we all halfass our english.

I took it for 2 years in high school, which amoutns to about two quarters of college level.

The best part is looking at German, Norse and English. You can see a progression of the words from German to English. like the water.
German: Wasser (pronounced vasser)
Norse: Wadder (pronounced vadder)
English: water

So sooner than have a static thread where we all could talk, LilJim would rather us have a real time chat room that eats up bandwith? I don't get it.
