I would put the cap on it if the dag members would quit insulting andrea behind her back.

I am sorry but please don't say that. She can easily go and read it for herself...our forum is open to all. I have nothing against Freak I just didn't like what she did..I spoke up about it and that was that ..it is over now..I hope there aren't any hard feelings b/t me and Freak.

No, Nirvana, I have nothing against you. I felt bad about setting a ban against you, but I couldn't play favorites or go against what I said. I also DO like the fact that you speak up, but I wished that would have went in an email. I don't want you staying away from my forums, because the rest of the sections are still open to other members. Feel free to invite other people as well, because the movie game is pretty fun, eh? ;)

Jim, I didn't say you were flaming them, but they don't come into our forums, so we shouldn't go into theirs. Unless we are invited, then please don't go there... that goes for everyone.

I find it hard to belive you can say it is open for all when you banned commander for no other reason than that he is a PC member.

I'm jsut repeating myself from your forum so there is no point in debating this any longer.

Thanks Freak I know I can always count on you to stay mature...same goes for Shrike...I know some other members of the DAG have quite alot of bad things to say about you but realize that each member speaks for themself and any member that agress will state that. I will gladly post on Snooble now that I have been invited. I am sure we can square away the issues that make our crews fight in the end. I guess it will take one member from each side at a time.

Right guys, I just want to know why we can't get along. True, the DAG was annoying when it first started and some of its members have spammed and flamed at arguments, but that doesn't excuse this 'Holier than Thou' attitude between some of the PC members. Just because you are in the PC does not make you a better poster. Lets learn to get along before we get suicide bombing each other.

I have the Deluxe plan with HostDime. They were great until I started having problems... now I don't get any email back. I'm going to write to them again. I hope I don't have to call them, I can control my temper better in emails than on the phone.

Use the phone. People react pretty bloody quick when others lose their temper.

As the....somewhat leader..of the PC, (we really have no need of a leader) I support peace between us and the DAG. Certain members of one group may hold animosity for another, but that is not to be influenced by the membership in said groups.

It is inevitable there will be arguments between different group's members, but both the groups should agree to equality.
Just because you're a member of one, or a more frequent poster, doesn't mean you're a better poster than them.

SO I've officially returned to the forums now that finals and I see we're still hung up on the bans and all the other crap. Jesus, it happened Andrea did what she felt was appropriate and that's about the end of it to the DAG perspecetive. It is interesting how it's gotten people who I haven't seen any posts from before but apparently have made a name for themselves in the past posting though.

We're not debating the necessity of the bans, but trying to bring an end to the fighting that has been going on between the two groups.
Maybe FUNK and I should do some IMing and work out a treaty.

Thanks so much for that forceful introduction DBF, I'm sure I could have managed that myself.
The reason I have never posted here before is because I know nothing about politics...well, not American politics anyway. But the general forum can sometimes get incredibly lame. Like now for instance.

Same here. Man, general is a joke. But it's lively, so I like it. And the clubs and crews is cool too (well, I had a club with cool people before it was made so I guess that helped getting people to talk with in there). Politics is pretty serious, that's nice, and people aren't trying to pick fights all the time, they debate with their brain cells. But it does get boring talking about war and religion ( isn't the same thing?) all the time. But there some cool topics from time to time.

luv :)

General is called general for a reason, but people are taking the generalisation a bit too far. People can be so strange in what they think is presentable to others on a worldwide forum. What you say and how you say it is a representation of how your mind works. 'OGM - NG IS TEH SUXX0RS' as a topic doesn't really do much for your image.

On a side note, I was wondering how much the Politics Forum actually covers. Now don't think I'm an idiot (well you can think it, just don't tell me), I know it covers politics and wars and stuff, but can it also relate to law, education, religion or any other things like that? Or is that more suited for somewhere else?

Wow, 58 words, and one full stop. Nice use of grammer DBF.

I have completly forgotten about the war and all that. It doesn't even seem to matter anymore. It lasted about a month, if that and now I couldn't really care less. It was scary for a while with Korea threatening to nuke us all, but it all seems to have blown over now.

Pretty much any topic that can be debated or discussed in an intelligent manner is acceptable for posting.Than the eight, I always feel a distinct need to scour my eyeballs after going in the Generals forums.

I've yet to ban, delete or lock a thread in this forum.

That's how it is here. Now, when it comes to the other forums, general leads in bans/locks/deletes.

There was some talk once upon a time to renaming the politics forum, and calling it the debate forum, but it was decided that would be an invitation to flame wars and spam.

But you can debate anything here, really. I suppose peanut butter vs jelly would be a little off-topic.

Pox and -Z-, have you any interest in joining one or both of the indigenous clubs here?

MrPopenFresh, I remember you once expressed interest in joining the PC? If you still want to join, e-mail ted.

Politics Crew: We're the old guys, the new guys and a few between. We're regulars here, and we support intelligent debate, we're anti-flame and we've been trying to keep the politics forum clean since.

Requirements to join: There's a 200 post limit to join (we review posts and use that in a crew-wide vote to admit new members), but this shouldn't be a problem since both of you are past the 200 required posts.

Devil's Advocate Group: Same as the PC, but dedicated to focusing on the underdog's side in the interest of inspiring new ideas and ideals.

Requirements to join: None, but they will not accept new people if enough members object to the new member.
