I read them both twice. And dont read Belgarath's or Polgara's individual books first, they both summarize the series's, and thats cheating. Also, the last book he wrote was a standalone, but he is starting to get a little senile; its only for hardcore fans.

My vote for coolest character ever: Beldin, the deformed wizard.

The only problem with Pharaoh is that I can't figure out how they figure water/fire/desirability and it takes for EVER to build a damned pyramid. I was sitting there for half an hour and it STILL wasn't done!

So, whatever happened to the "League of the Militant Godless" any way? There used to be members around, but they all just faded away for some reason.

LoMG used to have a website, too, but apparently that went down. Spike vanished, and everything fell apart. It didn't have the staying power of new and improved Politics Crew v2.0
