I don't really think it matters I started here with less than 100 posts but that was before this thread was started and nobody seemed to care, as long as i had something halfway intellegent to say.

OK, who's been spreading this shit around?!? I'm assuming they'd be an American, home of the 4.2% beer. PUSSIES!!!

That's because Beer sucks. Ouzo... that's a proper drink.
What the hell? Ouzo is for crappy greek chefs and teens who steal their parents holiday booze and go drink it on the park. *looks at BCC*

Tell me about it - my girlfriend's Greek, and she disowns it!

Beer is a social drink which gets you slowly drunk, Ouzo is something you drink when you a) can't handle beer b) can't buy beer c) want to throw up or d) all of the above.

No, Ouzo is something you buy when you're 14, don't know alcohol, and they're out of cider.

Isn't it weird that they won't sell non-alchoholic beer to minors? There's barely enough alchohol in it to get a buzz, so what difference does it make?

As a former Mac's Convenience Store clerk, I can answer that question: The man in the blue hat used to stage regular sting tests regarding the "No tobacco with proof" and "No alcoholic or semi-alcoholic beverages sold to minors" laws (bylaws? or were they provincial?)

So as a matter of protocol, the rule was: No ID, No Smokes, No Near-Beer, No Sasparilla.

Which was a joke, because at 15, I close shop and down a partial case of 15 for the all-of-30min buzz and raging whizz of consuming 4+ litres of fluid. Man, you could belch for a good half hour after that.

Surely there should be no alchohol in NOn-Alchoholic Beer?

Like I said, barely enough alchohol for lawmakers to give a damn.

As far as provincial/town laws go, there's one here in my town that they can't sell beer on Sundays, and you cannot under any circumstances sell beer or wine in restaurants with a meal. Now how much does that suck?

Now I'm torn between being myself, or being Mr. Angsty "I was born a son of a bitch, and I'm gonna die a son of a bitch" brooding bastardized guy.

Seeing a dog run into the path of a oncoming truck, is fairly depressing, when you take into account the other fairly depressing things that happened early in the day.

Angelfire allows image hotlinking, so that's a good place for some free image hosting.

OMG, I started wearing my name tag upside at work for the last day or two. All the memebers find it funny after they piont it out and I look down at it and say it looks ok to me (since if I look down its rightside up to me). They laff. Well today the CEO was on his way out and said your tag is upside down. I did the same thing as usually and he didnt find it soo funny and told me to turn it around. The policy is you need to wear it, it never says it has to be the rite way up, but I will keep it that way now (rite way) since the CEO told me too. Why can he have a sense of humor. And I hope he doesnt go on NG and see this.

If you video tape it, please don't use night vision mode, okay? We don't need another Paris Hilton crappy porn going around.

Yeah make sure you also have lights if it is during the middle of the night...because we don't want to just hear thinks going on and a blank screen to go along with it.

And yeah I just got one of those "You have exceeded your 4 posts limit in 30 minutes, please try again in 28 minutes" So yeah...(in the voting topic)

Oddest thing just happened....

I was browsing along when a particular post happened to annoy me. So I bring up the profile, scroll down to the Post Entries section and begin to read through the history of this person's thoughts as recorded on the NG board (5 whole pages of similar entries).

I get to page 3 - then BAM - no such entry found.
2x check the link.
Test the previously opened pages.
Nothing.

I've seen the effects of digital "revision" after the fact. But rarely have seen it live while actually viewing the data as its amended.

Sorry, sudden 1984 type feeling. Also noted in the New Thread for New People someone mentioning the use of double speak; no one commented on the entry or usage of the text. Is the language of Orwell so embedded into today's English that the thoughts are deemed universal?

Anyway, back to the lesbians.....

Double speak is from Orwell? I just thought it sounded insulting.

Anyway, back to the lesbians.....

Yes, that's what I assume. But take this in context....

A history of verbatim spanning over 6 months - enough to develop a feel of the type of person one is dealing with - then nothing, gone, as though never there.

Transpose this concept into the federal gov't level with Social Security (employment), IRS (tax and ownership), Health records. How easily all of these may be manipulated / damaged and thus the existance of a person within society is digitally moot?
