A couple days ago I was at the library and they had a new book clled wuthering bites. Although I do remember the arugmewnts in school about Heathcliff representing the metaphorical or possibly literal vampire, I'm pretty sure that is a reason to give up on society. The only vampire "mash up" fiction you need is Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. You expect it to be just utter craziness with no redeeming value and yet it sucks you in as a wonderfully heart warming type of story about the bonds of friendship, the price of duty, and the wicked bad assness of our 16th President.

Also yes, if Stafff shows those videos to people...particularly any family members...we will never be allowed to see him again. Had I known that's why he was shooting that stuff, I would have been WAY more polite and less about the dirty and the cursing.

I brought a handheld HD camera to Montreal. I don't know how to video edit and in low light with lots of moving without a Flash, the video comes out grainy but that's to be expected. I'm recording stuff at 720p/60fps because the only 1080p option is 24fps

My camera is only standard definition but it came out good. I'm not planning on editing or any of that stuff. I'm just going to slap all the snippets onto dvds and send them to my travel companions.

The staff does appreciates knowing about spam bots getting through so they can tweak their security to stop it from happening in the future. So it wouldn't hurt to send Wade a PM if you think it's something new (sometimes I notice these things after-the-fact and I scroll through General and find it's been mentioned a lot already and I can safely assume the admins are aware of it)

Goodness, does anyone here remember those spambots that would post the same ads every time as reviews for Today's Best for a couple of hours until they were deleted?

Those guys were fun.

I keep seeing them on D:toid and The Escapist every now and then, so it looks like they're still in business. Every time I see one I mosey over to the daily top five on NG and sift through the most recent reviews, expecting the motherload to show up every time I do so.

I don't know if I'm just late or whatever, but it really does seem like NG manages to keep these particular spammy bots outside the house these days.

what is a person to do when they become bored of everything they try to do? I'm catching hell trying to figure this one out. no matter what i do, i get bored. art? got bored. music? got bored. online games? ugh VERY BORED!! learning new languages? not interested in french or spanish, and can't find a useful application for other languages.
