I recently read somewhere that if you're trying to fit into something, don't eat a lot of greens, as they can cause bloating. Funny, I thought they helped you fit INTO things. Of course, if you eat too many greens you can get the runs so it makes sense in a way.

Speaking of, I'm gonna have to watch my fiance when we're married. Yesterday he was complaining of stomach trouble. I asked him what he ate. He had a whole can of baked beans for lunch. NO WONDER. *headdesk* The only reason I can see for doing that is if you don't have time to go shopping and that was all he had in the cupboard.

Dinner was unhealthy. I had a Reuben. But I had a side salad with it so I suppose it evens out. Once I'm out of grad school I'll watch a little more as I'd like to continue fitting into my wedding dress.

I am still bleeding internally.
It's slowed & I am getting better(according to my doctor & on Monday my biopsy came back...I don't have cancer)

I am still on meds & it is day 43 of 93 that I have to eat mostly veggies, & nothing of any flavor or worth putting in your mouth !
I no longer care that its time to eat. I eat a minimum of 4 times a day as set by my alarms, I take my meds I don't drink anything but room temperature water & one cup of green tea a day.
I don't care whats for food I don't even look at it or think about it...I just eat it because I have to. I certainly don't want to.

If this is the way I would have to eat from now on or I would die...then I would soon die, because I would refuse to live like this.
But there's only 50 days of incarceration left...& that's how I feel... locked up by my own body .

The end

Pasta
Pizza
Sweet potatoe pie
Pancakes piled with butter to the sky
I want some cheese, I want some meat, I want some beer,
I WANT DEEP FRIED !
Veggies all the time
makes me feel I have died.

Fresh veggies are for rabbits, & other tasty creatures made of meat !

Have you tried drinking fresh blood?

It's a lot better than you'd think. All the magic of meatsy flavors with none of the bad "how do I poop this?" issues.

Getting fresh blood is pretty damn hard, well, unless you have a sharp knife and a goat just laying around.

I've had goat before.
It was all spiced up & roasted & served with a sauce jokingly called 'cumsum young guy' Its a sweet condensed milk that is soured with vinegar & has fresh garlic in it.
I love pig roasts.
Put the whole damn pig over the coals & roast the tastey bastard.

But

I'm not allowed to have either of them !

Hm....onion rings. Reminds me of this burger.

I'm wondering what the damage would be done to my body by eating this guy. I kind of want to eat it, but then again, going to the gym the next day would be brutal.

What to do?

A fork and knife, salad style. ;-D

I remember when Subway was ending they're stamp program a few years ago... for every 6 inch sub you bought, you could get a stamp to put on a card, and when you got 8 of them you got a free footlong sub. Any sub, however you wanted it, they would make it for you. I found a full card going through a box of stuff I was cleaning out, and the next day after work I made it a point to go in and use it.

I got the most epic sub I could think of; a footlong steak and cheese sub (on honey oat, I believe), double meat, topped with the works and mustard and mayo. This thing would normally have been like a $12 sub, and it was so full of meat and toppings they couldn't hardly fold the bread over (a small bit of it wound up on the "sandwhich artist's" shoe). I got it for free, but I had to eat like a salad when I got home.

speaking of food, i got me a nice pot of red beans with some sausage in the slow cooker. i can eat for 3 days off $8. ($5 for the Andouille Sausage $2 for the beans and about an estimated $1 at the most for rice and seasonings used) makes for a gallon of beans, plenty of rice, and my place currently smells like heaven (or the making of one hell of a cajun restaurant if I never decided I'd like to give that a shot)

Brick Cheese

Beef (No shit)
Ham
Fried Egg, over medium
Onion Rings
BBQ sauce

Yummy.

I know that living down here, and saying this, could get me killed---but here goes.

I don't like andouille. :-(

I still use my crock pot and I still put in the beans and rice and my seasoning, but I get different sausage.

Now, call me crazy, but how does one exactly cook rice in a crockpot? Being Asian, I've only known how to cook rice well, the Asian way via washing, polishing, and cooking.

The girlfriend has picked up all the ingredients for us to have guacamole and unsalted tortilla chips tonight ~:)
There won't be any tomato in it & no hot peppers or salsa, for the chips, but she says she'll bake them to melt the cheese...& IT ISN'T RAW VEGGIES FOR SUPPER TONIGHT !
Although I suppose technically Guacamole is raw veggies.
....
Chili--------I dream of chili & chicken wings with suicide sauce, Nacho's with the works & lots of hot peppers. Meat grilled medium rare dripping juices, double cheese burgers, Deep fried everything !
And i wan tsome cold beer, delicious, wonderful tastey cold beers.

No snow here, but we had a windstorm tear shit up last night and this morning. Lots of damage, like a trailer the construction workers were using getting blown over and lots of downed trees. I ended up driving through a downpour today too.

Yeah my mom said that it they were expecting 50+mph winds back home today.

I missed a pretty epic winter this year. The back country skiing acres at the ski mountain I used to work at were open for a cool 15 or so days this seasons and they had a ton of snow and were able to stay open until this weekend. The beginning and the end of the ski season are actually money losers for ski areas - which is why they may delay opening or close earlier even though there may be enough snow on the trails. Operating facilities, lifts, paying staff, snow making and grooming all cost a ton of money. I heard that the typical ski mountain loses something like $500 an hour before business picks up during Christmas week.

That wind has been insane during the last couple days.

Driving today I saw a guy riding his bike, in his spandex, get blown off the road, onto the shoulder and finally into the ditch. He picked himself right back up though so I wasn't too worried. It looked like he tumbled a good one. Or he was drinking. In his spandex. Which would've been totally fine with me.

...what were we talking about?

I know you must have seen it once or twice on TV.

If you want to find out what its like, put on a pair of sneakers (because it was nice out when you went to school, then it started sleeting.)
Then go stand in a couple of buckets with a foot or so of ice cubes in them.
Swish your feet around in there for 25/30 miniutes & you'd have the experience many of us had going home from our elementary school, from Hazelhurst St to Hawthorne St in Dartmouth N.S. in the winter time.
Icy cold wet feet !

Oh man, I know exactly what you are talking about. In the spring when it would rain and sleet we would get a 3-4in layer of slush on the sidewalks and roads. I walked to school and even the road was in that nasty layer of slush so I'd get splashed when a bus or a car would drive by me. Or if i made the mistake of walking via the fields between my house and school - In winter you can usually just walk through the snow but when it's that slush it looks like you can walk through it fine but then you break through the top layer of snow and into a cold knee deep slush! ugh. It would ruin my day (and my socks).

Basketball practice after school was always a pain in the ass because I would have to change out of my still soaked boots/shoes and into my basketball shoes but my socks would always be wet. Spring track was worse because my coach would make us run in slushy fields so I would have wet socks from the morning walk to school and even my dry track practice shoes would get wet in slush!
