I just got Prinny: Can I Really be the Hero? for psp. this game is FREAKING HARD!
you might get 1000 lives, but you're gonna need some serious patience to beat this one.
it reminds me of old school platformers, along with the difficulty. it starts simple enough, but the difficulty ramps up quickly. LUCKILY you can save after each level you beat.
theres 61 total levels to the game, 6 areas with 10 variations to each one.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

It's a whole different citation system and they gave me a 500 page book. There's also a different legal citation system that I hear other lawyers use...I think it's a personal preference type thing, ALWD and just to make life more fun, each state has it's own rules that are sometimes totally different.

Eew. I have to admit... I fething hate citation rules... that sounds like torture. Seriously... 500 pages!? My god... only lawyers.

Citation-wise, I'm used to APA.
I know all about the Bluebook after working in the library last time I went to grad school. It has an official name but everyone calls it the Bluebook, so nobody knew what it was in the catalog since the cataloger only had it labeled as its official name. So, law students who only knew "Bluebook" came to us for help. We asked the cataloger to attack a note indicating "Bluebook" but she wouldn't do it.

quidquid latine dictum sit altum videtur.
The only latin anyone needs to know really.
However, this one's always good too:
Auferre, trucidare, rapere, falsis nominibus imperium, atque, ubi solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant.
Unfortunately I can't type in Greek on here, otherwise I'd throw some Aristophanes and you could all learn how to say "fuck", "cocksucker" and "bullshitter".

Yeah, I don't really get it considering the main differences between the 2 methods are some totally asinine rules about footnotes.
It's 500 pages, and you'd think what with it being in its 18th or 19th edition they would keep up with what each individual states rules are...especially because there's an entire section that goes state-by-state, how hard would it be to just cross-reference the states rules. A lot of it is how to properly cite really specific things. There's a whole section about how to best cite a webpage that may be updated regularly.
We have an entire class where we have projects devoted to "bluebooking" and I thought that section on bibliographies in highschool English was bad...

that's what I used most often. Although, I had one professor senior year who threw Chicago rules at us because that's what history publications use and it was a history class afterall. Most of my teachers just wanted a work-cited page and maybe footnotes or citation sentences and they didn't care if you used MLA or APA. Maybe the psych classes wanted APA. Ever since MS Word had those pre-loaded I was golden!

Well I mean, it has a big blue cover and it just says "THE BLUEBOOK" on the front...you'd think that would be the name. It could be that they were confusion the ALWD (the Association of Legal Writing Directors citation manual) which is also widely used but newer (I think it started in 2000). Timmy says his school teaches him on those. I guess when the common name is used as a verb (ie: "Today we're going to practice bluebooking some more") either system might become synonymous with law students. It's like calling tissues "kleenex"

My professors went back and forth between APA and MLA and I pretty much just did whatever I felt like and took hits here and there based on how far they were into their periods.

If I may delve into general like behavior for a moment, I shall now give inventory of my mystery box.
One air bag
One xxl newgrounds shirt
one snow snow for lucy dvd (this seems to be the staple of mystery boxes)
one picture of Tom about to put a praying mantis finger puppet in his mouth (caption: ribbed for her pleasure)
said finger puppet. It won't fit. My fingers are larger than Tom Fulp's. Do with that as you will
one newgrounds sticker
one meatboy sticker
one newgrounds postcard
one set sandylions watermelon stickers.
one large Las Vegas shirt. Oh yeah. I'm gonna hit the tanning beds and go full on muscle douche with this
one poster tube. At first I thought this was just a poster tube so I did what anyone would do and knocked it on my head to the tune of Tom Sawyer. Turns out there was a Mindchamber megatron poster in it. Also cool.
one life meter 2 book of video game inspired comics.
and finally, the crowning piece. One unopened pack of New Kids On The Block trading cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!! since opening it I have had
The Right Stuff
playing on a loop in my head. and the only way to end the curse is to pass it on so. Good luck with that

Hang onto those New Kids on the Block cards. Their memorabilia is worth a shit ton of money.
I must have been the only girl who wasn't nuts over them. Sure, I liked their music, but I didn't want to marry one of them or scream when I saw them on TV or anything like most girls did. Then again, I was the one in the late '90s walking around in a "BOY BANDS SUCK" T-shirt.

I am just old enough to remember New Kids on the Block as far as the phenomenon went, but I honestly don't remember much of their music beyond the chorus for "Hang Tough." Almost kind of sounds like parts of Def Lepards "Pour some sugar on me" in my mind.
I was, however, really surprised to find out that the actor Donnie Walhberg was in the group.... I was sitting there going, "So the guy that got his head smashed to bits by two blocks of ice in Saw used to be in a boy band? Almost sounds like an Assasin game."

I loved new kids on the block when I was a kid. I have many fond memories of putting one of their tapes in the boombox while I tried to beat the dam level of ninja turtles. I say this because that's exactly the kind of thing I would make up, I am not making that up.
Also, in the thread in general some guy posted his haul, and he opened the damn pack! The collector in me wanted to grab his throat until it was out of mint condition.

My older brother had like one casette tape of theirs and I'm pretty sure he didn't like them...
But I convinced a bunch of his friends this year at his birthday party that he had all their albums and posters of them on his bedroom walls and everything.
Next year I plan on buying him (or trading with Stafff) some of those trading cards as his birthday present

This is how bored I am tonight.
I recently made the purchase of the Super-Science booster/expansion for City of Heroes/Villains. Long story short, it's largely a cosmetic booster that just gives you access to mad scientist type costumes. It also gives you access to a costume tailor who can change the gender of your character, and using the adittional costume change animations that come with it, you can do the whole Dr Jekyl/Mr. Hide thing.
Well... remember this video of my dual pistols character?
I'm setting it up now so that I can hit a single button and he turn will turn into this. And yes, those are Uzi's.

meh. my car died. now I'm on foot. good thing I live where I work. of course, the shit part is. during the winter I'll end up spending ALL of the daylight hours working.
course, today I found out that the Walmart greeter wouldn't let me through the door today, not because I was wearing a backpack, but because he found my steel baton sticking out of it. I mean seriously, when you're on foot you need a little something on ya just in case. Even a small town like this one isn't exactly 100% safe. Reckon next time I'll do a better job of concealing it on me.
nothin's been working out for me lately.... sigh.

;;;
Really sorry about the whole Celine Dion mess, but to be fair she's from Quebec, which has for many years been attempting to seperate from the rest of Canada....Only thing is they want to seperate, but they want Canada to continue to pay for them, continue to use Canadian currency etc. etc. etc. !
So to be even , you need to hit us with a couple more real winners like the line dancing fiasco you people popularized, at least one more achey breaky (fuck that has got to be in the top ten lamest ever pieces of crap recorded) & have a couple more shit tumes like the one done by kidd rock, where he steals the start of one tune mixes it with another & claims it as 'his own' .
Even so, I'm still not sure if that makes up for Celine Dion
Plus no ones bothered to mention that other Canadian embarrasment Micheal Buble'.... I recently had to stay awake as a lighting tech at one of his 'concerts' ...it was so bad , I felt like shoving pointy pencils deep into my ears !
So sorry about that, although it really isn't my fault !

My intentions are pure; I just want to mess with people.
I'm building this character to be a uber-damage-dealer who can just walk into a crowd of baddies and lay waste to everything in sight, dressed all in black with tattoos. So I ask you; what would be funnier than to see him down green mystery fluid from a beaker and then turn into a japanese school girl?
What's next, Swamp Thing?
I'm thinking of changing the hair style to a Lady Death style up-do and adding cat-girl ears and a tail, actually. Perhaps even add a "DESU DESU DESU!!!" battle cry.
