It must be "that" time again... because my god, the flood of idiocy on this board recently has me reaching for my (sadly, nonexistent) High Powered Internet Darwin Rifle.

Nah, you should just leave it alone. Nature and the Free Market automatically fixes itself. Except when there is an economic meltdown. Then we are all fucked.

it should go without saying that if you think something needs to be looked at by a moderator you have a few who frequent this thread that you are always welcome to send a message to. We can't outright kick out stupid, but we can at least catch any trolls who may have gone under our radar or keep an eye on a thread that is circling the drain.

Just as much of the sugar and none of the caffine? I don't envy you right now.

I tried to do the same thing a while back, but I couldn't resist the draw of caffeine.

*shrug*

I didn't do Gatorade, though. I did those little mix-in packets you can get for bottles of water. I'd recommend the ones for Propel, though; no sugar or calories, and they have vitamin b12 instead of caffeine.

One thing, then I'm going to shut up for a while.

What the hell is with the new Prince of persia game?

So let me get this right, there's a movie out right now based on a video game, the game itself being a remake of an old DOS platformer. And now they've got a game that ties into the movie? wtf? Isn't this about as stupid as the Street Fighter movie video game?

Besides, why else would they cast a white guy in a Persian role? BECAUSE IT SELLS

The only Prince of Persia game release now I'm seeing is for the iPhone, but it's not a new game. They're running an emulator of the DOS original and tying it in with the movie. Yes, there are other Prince of Persia games too though. IIRC, The Sands of Time is about 5 years old.

Well basically it's for people who really like the existing games but thought they would be advanced by playing as Jake Gylenhall.

The first time I heard of this movie the reviewer said the same thing only to say in captions that there is a white population in Persia. Still far fetched but, dude I can't get path that it's Jake Gyllenhall.

I had to stop drinking soda a long time ago because my stupid health. I had to cut out all caffeine, including coffee.

I got some Excedrin migraine, that has caffeine, and used that to help with the headaches, and then switched to ibuprofen.

Took a few weeks but I'm okay now. I can go weeks without a soda etc.

Malachy's right. I've noticed some of my problems have been solved by posting here. When the DD broke into a review mod's account and banned me, I figured, there were three (at the time) review mods posting here so I'd just wait for the first one to respond. It was Seven. I was expecting Malachy since he had been around more but I wasn't about to complain.

As for Seven...I thought of her today when I was making the point in another thread that hurricanes can spawn tornadoes. I remember the videos.

Every summer you get stupid kids...been that way since I started here and it's the drawback to NG being so popular...so just look to the bright side that these little bastards are helping keep the site in business (hopefully buying merch to that end as well) and try to stay away from the cow pattie threads, there's still some really fun stuff to read and post in here without looking too hard.

The one that's out now is called "The Forgotten Sands." I don't know if it's so much a movie tie in game like the Street Fighter movie-game was as apposed to it just being a seperate installment of the Prince of Persia game series, but it annoys me like a telemarketer who doesn't know when to quit calling.

A long time ago, I tried to make a female character in City of Heroes. I had to delete her shortly after creation because I was to busy staring at her perfect ass to play the game. I tried to make another today, and I have come to the reasonable conclusion (after getting numerous costume bonuses for Veteran Gamer rewards) that the creators of this game exemplify the "lonely nerd" stereotype.

The next time you're bored Rav, you should perhaps consider playing some MUD.

Just you wait until the first other player you meet comes along to hug you.

I can't be arsed to figure out how to make screencap work on this bitchtop, so here's a base picture instead.

Wow, times flies by--
I still play that game frequently. It's the only game, really, that I play several times.

I even own the Prince of Persia 3D, which was pretty crappy and hard to play. And that came out in... 99?

Still cloudy, raining off & on since the last time I posted about the weather is Fucking incredibly sucking !
I can't begin to remember when I went out & seen someone smile !!
Constant gloom is sucking the soul right out of me & everyone else

I've taken to surfing for sunset & sunny photo's just to try & stay sane.
This really, really , really sucks, unless you've lived for weeks without sunshine you really can't understand it !

I just got an e-mail from a friend out west, where I'm going on Friday...& its the same story there as well, constant cloud, cold temps & rain , rain & more fucking rain !

My garden is dying, another tomato plant died & now all my peppers except 1 are dead !

Hey, at least you didn't have tornadoes like we did. Now that everything's passed, it's a lot cooler here but will warm up at the end of the week. My boyfriend's showing up in two weeks and hopefully the weather is decent.

I didn't think it was the rainy season out West yet. But one of the most interesting things to see there is a thunderstorm. Most of the time the lightning doesn't strike. But rain, especially rainstorms, are not something you see often.

I didn't think it was the rainy season out West yet.

;;;
No one seems to know what season we're in, but if proponents to Global Dismal weather are looking for stat's to further their cause they only need to look at how fucking wet & miserable its been around here !

Once we had wind that was affected by the ocean. Day time would see wind coming in off the water(ocean) & that would reverse itself at night as the land/water heat changed the wind direction changed...not any more its the same incessant wind from 1 direction non stop day & night after day & night going back almost a month now ! i've stopped going outside, unless I have to. There's just no reason to go out. You can't mow the lawn. Gardens are all drowning all over the neighborhood. I can't get my renovations for my new overhang on the garage & my new back door porch started, because I have to open the roof & remove some siding to attach the porch roof... I can't expose anything unless I don't care if I flood inside my home . Farmers are saying they can't plant their crops...Several friends of mine are roofers & haven't worked in over 2 weeks its getting really fucking bad. AND there is no sign of it changing, every advance weather forcast has called for clearing & sunny sky's 2 -3 days in the advance & every day or two for more than 2 weeks it is upgraded to rain & it is raining, some times torrential rains, but mostly just that agravating heavy damp with shower bursts several times a day.

I'm so fucking depressed I don't know what to do with myself ! I've got all this work to do & I can't get anything done without flooding/destroying the interior of my home ! I can't even walk on my lawn. I sink into it, it is that saturated with water. I have a dug well, & the water level in the well is at the same height as the ground level outside the well , that's 100% saturation of the ground around here. I have my dehumidifier going 24 hours a day & the moisture rate inside my home is 65% right now ! I am emptying the 2.5 gallon resevoir 3 times a day.

I've lived in southern Minnesota all my live and I've never seen a tornado. There may have been one near my place once when I was very young, not really sure. The closest I have ever come to seeing one was years ago, a funnel cloud was slowly coming down near where I lived but a fourth or so the way down it slowly went back up.
