I was almost run over a minute ago. I probably wouldn't of received a serous injury she wasn't going that fast, but she wasn't stopping either, I was lucky enough to look to my side to stop in time, I wounder if she was on her cell phone.

We found this at our local liquor store and had to have it. It's Crystal Head vodka. Dan Aykroyd is behind its production.

I've heard of that, and am curious about how good it is. That and the "Bong Vodka" I keep seeing.
I saw something at the new liquor store that opened up here locally that kind of got me scratching my head. They carry Firefly brand Vodka, which is flavored like Sweet Tea. They had original, Mint, Lemon, and a few others. I almost bought myself a bottle, but I wasn't in their for me... I went in there for a bottle of red wine for my mother, and I bought a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 (a.k.a.; bum wine) for my dad as a joke.

Someone bought us a bottle of Firefly, and I didn't get to taste a drop of it. My party guests thought it was fantastic, though.

Did they drink it straight, or mix it with anything?

Straight. Some of them drank it room temperature, others on ice. All agreed it was delicious. It was opened as the party was wrapping up, though, and I never drink at the end of a party - I sleep like shit if I drink too close to bedtime.

Yeah, both at the same time requires way too much effort.
So this morning I'm heading to the shop to get that wheel bearing fixed. I knew beforehand that it was the rear driver's side. But I keep hearing noises and am no longer sure. Passenger or driver? I took it to the shop, and it turned out that the rear passenger's side was just starting to go this morning. It was the driver's side one I heard this weekend. The nice thing is they replaced both and only charged me for the one. Unfortunately, sometime before I get my state inspection I may need four new tires. I know for sure I need brakes but my dad has that covered.

I actually got up off my ass and went looking for that picture... found it quite quickly, along with a topic I posted to Audio Forum back when I was a mod. Please read it... I hope you all fall out in the floor laughing with tears in your eyes the way I just did.

Looks like it would be fun to buy, although from what I can find it's ridiculous expensive and not even available here in Ontario (the LCBO objects to the shape of the bottle or something).

We paid 50 USD for it, and our friend who is actually into vodka says it's pretty damn good. It's totally additive-free, and he says the flavor is extremely clean. My husband is infusing a small amount of it with fresh banana right now, with an eye toward making a shot that tastes like one of those wonderful frozen chocolate-covered bananas you get at the state fair.
And yeah, you can't get it in Ontario because it's evil or something.

Since you seem to drink a fair bit more exotic types of liquor than I, question; ever tried Vodka Bong?

Not quite my cup of tea, as it were, but... sounds interesting.
I'd like to get my hands on a bottle of Ever-clear and make some limoncello. Tips, or recommendations?

I'm not really much of a vodka drinker, and I've pretty much only had your usual standbys. I haven't even tried the Crystal Head yet, actually.

Our group of friends has a shot contest every year, and a big part of it is originality and uniqueness. Last year the winning drink looked like a shot of jizz, but it tasted fantastic.
The only problem with the shot contest is that there are usually between six and ten entries, and the tasting moves at a pretty quick pace. I started last year's contest with three drinks already in me, and there were seven shot entries. I don't think I've ever been drunker.

Well, I've ruined two pairs of jeans...
They were my favorites, but they looked very faded (some parts were creamy white, especially around the ass, knees, and thigh areas.)
I thought, hey-- why not dye them.
so, I bought a packet of navy blue RIT dye... followed the instructions... and
the horror--
they're a very BRIGHT blue. And of a solid uniform color. You can tell that they've been dyed.
I can't be using bright blue jeans, they look ridicules.
I'm washing them, hoping that repeated washing will return them how they used to be. I guess my only hope of ever wearing those jeans again is to dye them black.

You'll wear the denim out before that happens. Rit is powerful stuff.
I guess my only hope of ever wearing those jeans again is to dye them black.
If you add the black now while the jeans are still uniform blue like you say they are, it will just take them to a dark indigo blue, which may or may not be what you want. I'm thinking bleach them until they are close to pure white, then you could try and dye them black. The bleach route would result in a purer black, assuming your jeans just don't fall apart...
