Yep. At first glance I didn´t even realise that it WAS a link. Brain vacation.
there's been a few different spam bots making accounts on newgrounds over the last year or so that makes these weird "come talk to me, but click this link to do it!" PMs and just sends it to a ton of people.
Unh-hunh.
We had a thread in General for reporting them till the staff created a script that deletes the accounts. It started like every few days but I'm sure the load is small enough they just dump them after a month or more now.
Very well. I remember that thread now, and whoa, looks like it had quite the clientele...

And April Fool's is by no means a government or religious holiday, either. It's just an excuse for people to prank each other. Which sucks, because I had yesterday off from work... I should have gone in with my head shaved, wearing sunglasses and a trench-coat, carrying a duffel bag. Just to fuck with 'em.
I would have LOVED to have seen the look on the H.R. manager's face if I were to have done something like that.

Separate question; do wireless cards eat up a lot of physical memory while active? I've been paring down programs on this comp in preperation for giving it to my mother, and I noticed that the fan is constantly running. Open up Task Manager, a little over 1/3rd of my availble physical memory is being dedicated to something running on this machine, and I can't figure out what. And the only thing I've got running right now (besides firefox) is the wireless card.

Yargh. Moving into Crazy KKKarl's house next week. Recording all the time, playing gigs every weekend and some weekdays now. Incomplete sentences. Good chances of making one-off side project with KKKarl and his girlfriend. Almost 100% chance of it being a skinhead joke band.
HOWEVER, there's a good chance the new single "Vegas when I die" is going to KICK ASS in the recording, and I should have it uploaded sometime next week.

Something is causing my machine to eat up about 33% to 45% of available physical memory, and I'm not sure what.
I turned my machine completely off last night, unplugging the wireless card, and this morning it seems to be acting reasonably better. The fan isn't constantly running half the time, it's not near as slow as it was, but physical memory usage is still right at around 42%.
I've got the Resource Monitor open and am looking through the programs running, and there's shit on here going that I've never heard of... with the wireless program way on down the list of how much memory it's using.
*shrug*
I'll fix it or re-install windows, one.

The costumes are also insanely uncomfortable, difficult to remove, and hard to clean, so there's really more of a practical side to it.

You know, stripper heels are insanely uncomfortable and almost impossible to walk in. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want to watch two strippers make out now, does it? In fact, it actually makes it a little hotter, when you think about it. Never mind corsets...

Making out is one thing, but going any further requires the removal of those costumes, and like I said, they're a huge pain in the ass to remove. The Catwoman costume is PVC-coated spandex, which doesn't stretch much. Even leather is easier to put on and take off.
Plus if you've been wearing it all day, you're usually fairly miserable. Doesn't exactly put you in the mood to do much.
The only costume I've ever gotten busy in was a $40 Little Red Riding Hood costume from Party City. ;)

Good to hear. I'll have to see it.
I've been ruined on a lot of those movies, but the ones dealing with myth are a little better. My brain doesn't instantly want to hemmorhage over every little historical inconsistency when it's a movie about mythology.
But Gladiator or 300? Can't get into em.

I saw it and enjoyed it. My only gripe was that I found the plot far too predictable at several points, and I never even saw the the first one, I've just read alot of mythology.
But I didn't get bored, I enjoyed it.

It's a gorgeous day here today.
I propped open the front door & popped some windows...It's almost 68 degrees here this morning !
(almost swimming weather)
I'm in the middle of making potato salad to go with our traditional , BBQ'ed Ribs & the Spicey Pit beans I made in the slow cooker yesterday (they were great last nite...they'll be awesome today )
Actually this traditional Easter meal is the first one ever for us ~;)

My boyfriend and I went to see Clash of the Titans Friday night. The fight scenes were badly filmed but beyond that I'm okay with it.
He's making Easter dinner today. Not sure what Easter dinner consists of but I have seen asparagus and carrots so far. That and we also have all the goodies we got after seeing his extended family yesterday.
I also got one of those spam PMs. Funny since I never get PMs.

I disagree...
It's as generic a fantasy film could be... plus more.
I love the original 1981 version better.
And even if there wasn't a original, it's not all that good. So many over used cliches, and plot holes.
SPOILER--

The only thing I can remember is that Hades looks at him and says, "Interesting..." And I remember him telling Zeus that he has a son... but-- even then, how does Hades know Zeus has a son. For that fact, why doesn't Zeus know that he has a son period--
Gah--
Like I said.

BLAGH!!!
It wasn't a virus, it wasn't one of my programs screwing with the machine... it was the windows updater. My machine doesn't have enough physical memory to run everything it supposedly needed to run after the updater went through and got everything I needed AND stay below a reasonable % of memory used.
Which means I have to crack open the case, figure out what kind of memory it takes, and then go spend more money I don't have on memory for this machine.
Would anybody blame me at this point if I hauled my whole machine out into the backyard and just unloaded a box of double-ought buckshot into it?

but Mac is certainly more user-friendly in EVERY way possible. I can't make the full conversion because I grew up using a PC. I mean, I knew how to use DOS commands... that's how long I've used PC computers.
