Upon further investigation, my power leveling mission was left up. The author just renamed it so it was difficult to find again.... I am now taking down the names of authors whose missions I like so I can search for them in the future.
I guess it's a different mindset when you're actually having to pay for a game by the month than it would be playing a console game. In a console game you expect there to be cheats and exploits to give you an edge over the computer, but in an mmorpg it wouldn't be near as fair I suppose.
Still bums me out. :-(

Final size is approximately eight inches square. It's going on the right side of my back, slightly lower than the first one on the left side. The very top of it will be along the bottom of my shoulder blade.
I should have some other good news soon, but I don't want to jinx it by posting it too soon.

I've been playing Civ 4 and I was able to get a cultural victory.
And I've been playing at the harder levels. Difficult :(

It's too hot. Srsly, it's been 33-35 every day. And I don't have AC =(. Oh, and since the government has FINALLY (after 8 years) adjusted electricity prices, now Wal-Mart and Careffour have turned off their ACs. Not kewl.
The early mornings are beautiful, though. 22ºC ^_________^

we even got a few new ones like Collaboration, Animation and Writing! check them out, even though I'm not much of a writer or animator I found them to be interesting.
I'm still trying to get used to the reorganized forums in regards to general, wi/ht, video games, politics because now politics is at the bottom where C&C used to be and in the drop down menu poli is at the bottom when it used to be near the middle/top

We're in orange alert, moderate-high risk of dying of a heat stroke...
And there's a giant cockroach somewhere near my bed, and it FLIES.
I am waiting for it to come out.... with my flip flop in my hand. So far it has proved elusive.

Nah, wiki says they're only in North America and Asia. It was just a super roach.
BUT I KILLED IT >=D
It went to my bookshelf first, then paper bin, then it flew to the top of my bookshelf, I shook it, so it went under my bed, I waited, it appeared below my computer desk, I hit it, it ran through the floor and hid under some pants I had left in the middle of my room, I threw them against the door, it remained there, I started stomping the pants, it tried to climb the white wall (big mistake) I hit it and fell to the floor, but it wouldn't DIE, so I stepped on it and spread its intestines all over the floor.
It was really ewww, that super roach.
and spiders. I hate spiders that jump. and follow me.
O_o
You're like, in that Avatar film. But wait, since you're the Indian, you'd be one of the big blue people! Kewl. Teach me to ride that big flying thingies.

Still have a bum neck so I upped it to ibuprofen. Finally, the pain is responding. Though I am still waking up at night and having to apply heat and ice packs. If this keeps up I'm seeing a doctor.
Dunno why I'm slacking off when I have two papers to write, but I think I'm just tired.

A pic of my mama...
I've never seen this one until today.
God, I can see sooo much of myself in that picture.
First in the physical features-- but that face she makes.
That whole coquettish attitude.
Not exactly snooty, but knowing we are attractive to other people. (Although, my mother a whole lot more... I came out looking like her, but with my father's big nose. My nephew inherited her pretty greek like nose.)
Expression cold and warm simultaneously.
I can understand why my grandparents, when they were alive, would talk about my mother's legs and butt all the time. Mama was very leggy. I also inherited that from her.
My aunts used to joke around that I had nice legs for a woman.
That was one reason why I played soccer with my cousins with my jeans.
You know, my father must have cultivated a damn lot of personality. He was so out of her league.
And sometimes, I wish they would tell me more about their story.
I've always sensed that whatever love story they cultivated must had been either elicit or scandalous. I don't know why... why would they not tell it to me otherwise?

In my youth, my mom destroyed all the pics when they were together.
Their fights were bitter and long lived.
when I visited Mexico, you couldn't imagine my surprise to find a pic of them... TOGETHER.
I haven't told my mom that I have this pic.
She hates leave a job undone.

I'm really looking forward to perusing the writing forum, and the writing portal itself once it comes about. I wonder if there will be an adult section....?
I mean, we've got an adult section for flash, is there an erotic section in the works?

My neck is doing the same thing, but my problem is is that I sleep on my side and my pillow doesn't offer enough support. My chirporactor advised me to buy one of those foam pillows that conforms to your head... maybe you should try the same?

I guess it's cultural. In my mom's family it's rare not to hear about everyone's dirty laundry... but then again, being that we're all descended from glorified white trash, it's not surprising that we'd air each other's dirty laundry for personal amusement. :-D
You're mom looks cute, though. No leg and butt pics?

There's a pic of my mom playing soccer, and she's wearing those short shorts. For some reason, my grandparents kept that photo and it was the only photo of her that they hung on the wall.
They were so fascinated with her legs, and that's what makes me keep remembering them. They always asked my mom still walked barefooted.
So odd. They wouldn't see me in years, and the first thing they would ask is about my mom's legs. I've always wondered if my grandparents had a leg fetish...
Or if it's one of those odd cultural things.

I can share my good news now, since it's beyond the point where I could potentially jinx it.
I put in my two weeks' notice today at work. My last day is February 12th. I get a week off and then start my new job February 22nd, doing work that actually coincides with my degree and which pays better.
This is the best day at the office I've had in a long, long time.

I'm on countdown until midnight, I'm jonesin' for my CoH fix.
Long story short... I goofed. My CoH subscription came due yesterday on the same day I forgot to pay my credit card bill, and I'm locked out of my account until midnight when I can pay the subscription fee.
T MINUS 3 HOURS 52 MINUTES AND COUNTING!!!

It took me a minute, but I realized that you didn't write "Cox fix."
I'm assuming "CoH" is the acronym for a video game.

City of Heroes, the online game I play to the point of obsession. Basically World of Warcraft but with Comic Book Superheroes as apposed to Tolkien themes.

Does anyone have space for a tree in their garden?
I sprouted a few plum seeds years ago. they're rootbound, and they really want to grow. Poor things.
I don't want to toss them in the trash, so I've been asking folks if they want a plum tree in their garden. And I'm talking about space...
and I'm talking about love too...
I already got an avocado tree, an apricot tree, and a lemon tree-- all sprouted from seeds (not nursery bought plants.)

*gasp*
This just in:
My very young cousin called from Palo Alto-- suspended, needs someone to call his mama at her other phone. So, that's me.
He goes to Gunn High School, and that's where the Phelps family protested.
He threw a big fat sandal at one of those guys' cheek.
but he failed to aim for the other, he-he...
GOD--
that's just big ol' satisfaction...
I'm thinking of getting him cleats if Ann Coulter ever visits there.
That's something that's not in the news.
