Anyone else thinks Rob Zombie's re-imagining of Mike Mayers as a giant pussy?
I mean, physically, the newer reincarnation is much more imposing.

But the older one was just souless sociopathic monster.

This Mike Myers actually removes his mask infront of his friggin sister and is like, "accept me, please..." And he dabbles in Satanism (at least, that's what I'm assuming from the previews of newer trailers.)

C'mon...
Old MM would be like, "Too busy killing. *hack n slash* NEXT!!!"

And this one is like, "Ohhhh.... lemme paint an upside down star with someone's blood, light a few candles...a-a-a-nd.... VIOLA!"

Both are scary, but the original is certainly the best of the two.

From what I'm reading, Bakon is a "vodka infusion," meaning they actually use bacon in the production of it. Of course, if they added sugar to the mix, it would instead be classified as schnapps instead of just plain vodka.

So yeah. They basically took bacon and soaked it in vodka for a few weeks. YUMMY.

I have, but it's been years since I last had any. All I remember was that it was a light meat like chicken or pork, and that whoever cooked it seasoned it REALLY WELL.

Just an amazing Isreali/gay film.
Doesn't explore sexuality not so much as the politics between the Muslims and Jews, and the ending... and can't stop feeling so sad. Finally, we're gay cimema has gotten over the whole homosexuality taboo and explored bigger and better and compelling subjects.

I agree with you for most boozes, are simply a delivery system to get alcohol into the blood stream.
But there are several that I have found I really like.
Single malt scotch's . Although I know this may sound strange...I don't like blended scotch even when mixed .
Good tequila...there are so many that are bad...in Canada what you find in most bars SUCKS.... but our Liquor stores have been bringing in high end quality Tequila for a couple of years now.
aged demerara Rums...this is my favorite drink & probably why I go to the Caribbean every winter. You can't get the really nice aged ones here for less than about $50.00 a quart...while in the Dominican or Jamaica, there 5 to 10 dollars a bottle depending on how old they are (8 years plus) is like ambrosia, right out of the bottle !
Martini's... they are pretty much nothing but alcohol & there are so many different ones out there I haven't tried them all..........but I am still working on it.
P.S. don't drink white or clear rums...they are (IMO) poison. they don't even smell nice & usually you have to mix them... I just don't drink the stuff. Remember buying QUALITY BOOZE may be much more expensive, but I am looking for flavor, as well as buzz !

On the subject of kitties, I found out about this cutesy fellow a few days ago. All I can say, is want.

"The scent of Binturong musk is often compared to that of warm buttered popcorn and cornbread."

Now, THAT, my fellow ladies and gentlemen, is pure, pure fantastiwin.

I just hope nobody tries something stupid in a flash of intoxicated insight if I decide to hold a party with it. That could get more than a bit silly.

Has anybody ever gone on amazon.com and read the product reviews?

Here's a few you may want to scroll though;
- Fresh Whole Rabbit
- Heinze Spotted Dick Pudding
- UFO Detector
- Uranium Ore
- Zubaz Pants

Please bear in mind that I did not go looking for these products, they came up in that goofy "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" bar, and I could not resist looking.

not that anyone here is actually considering buying "fresh" meat off amazon, but that rabbit does not look fresh at all. not even fresh enough for pagan altars.

That´s a comedy gold mine. I like to compare the "used" uranium ore priced at 2,499 USD to the "new" ore priced at a mere 29.95 USD.

The best thing though has to be the reviews for the, brace for it, Badonkadonk Tank.

"I bought one of these Donks 'cause I thought the cops wouldn't hastle me in it. Since it ain´t road legal I figured it wouldn't matter that I don't got a driver's license anymore..."

I mean, that´s just gold.

What I´m thinking is, why the heck would ANYONE buy a fresh whole rabbit AND Mario Party 8? I mean, dayum, I get that playing MP8 takes some sacrifices, but someone seems to be taking this a bit more than healthily literally.

It was here in San Jose back in 2007, and I really really really wanted to go.

That would had fulfilled my childhood fantasy of seeing a real dinosaur... well, sorta.

Well... there is a sex scene, so make sure fast foward it. With the exception of that scene, which is no more graphic than what you would see in any other movie, it's a great political film with tons of human emotion.

That won't bother me. It's just when homosexual based movies preach that they're people too, and the discrimination must stop and yada yada. I just don't care about that stuff. If you're intolerant of gay people you're dumb. Plain and simple. And I don't like watching movies that are targeted at dumb people. I like to pretend I'm not one. :)

If it's actually part of the movie and like you said, not graphic, I wouldn't feel the need to skip it. I mean yeah there isn't any urge to see the particular act but I think I've largely outgrown the "eww" factor.
Infact reading this gave me the idea to look at my dvd rack and note how many of them have homosexual conduct. I apologise for the order because there is no orginization here.

Wedding crashers. "Let's play tummy sticks"
Flight of the conchords "bret, you've got it going on."
clerks two: does it count if one of the dudes is a donkey?
Sweet November: there's a gay couple there, played by ralph fines and lex luthor, seriously
Rent: nuff said
College: Standard girl on girl party action that makes me regret outgrowing this genre
Borat: Naked dudes chasing each other around. I'm counting it.
Mash: The dentist tries to kill himself because he thinks his tomcatting is overcompensation for latent homosexuality. Mind you earlier in the film men lined up to watch him shower.
Lucky number Sleven: Sleven seduces the crime bosses son in order to kill him.
Team America: Martial artist was raped by the cast of Cats
Kill Bill: I'm convinced Hanzo and his assistant were more than friends.
American Pie 2: the infamous walkie talkie scene.
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back: "He loves the cock."
Waiting: "What are your feelings on frontal male nudity?"
Crying Game: Actually a good flick past the shock moment
Clerks: Seal moment
Blazing Saddles: It's subtle but there are a couple of bit, like with the musical they interupt at the end
I now pronounce you chuck and larry: The whole damn movie

Ok. That got a lot more extensive than I planned but it just goes to show that the stuff is out there in the mainstreask if we choose to see it or not. Also, there aren't newer movies on there because I cannot keep movies in current rotation on the shelf. Movies lovers understand this.

I skip... but mostly because of my parents.
They are accepting, but to see the act still gets them all hyped. They could barely tolerate Brokeback's 5 second sex scene... imagine a whole 20 seconds, with ass showing...

My sister is okay, but we haven't seen many LGBT films which are generally good... exceptions are: the Bubble, When Night is Falling, Boys Don't Cry, Brokeback Mountain, Angels in America, Burnt Money, Mysterious Skin, Philadelphia (more or less...)

I'm pretty sure there are more out there, but those are the ones I've seen that are actually great.

One thing that could be said about LGBT films... they're never good unless they explore other subjects. Otherwise, we get films like whirlpool (I think that's its title) which was mostly HBO soft porn ala gay mode.

I think that's why I'm having problems writing stories on gay people... I can't find a focus aside the whole sexuality issue. But I got one story coming right out that's been decent for me, The Glory Hole, which is not so much a story about gay people, but a story about fathers and sons.

Folks... this is gonna be one seriously fucked up scary story once I've edited. You thought Devil's Food Cake was a mind fuck... just you wait.

oi-- get City of Men, the movie series from Brazil.
It's just a great show, but I wished they used soft subs on it instead of hard subs. Not as heavy as City of God, but the lightness of series has a wonderful way of contrasting the stark settings of the movie.

Just re-watched it this week. Glad I bought it...

Wow. A Jesus cannon. Shooting big black balls of faith into the vehicles of passing cars. I've seen everything now.

;;;
At first glance...my eyes focused on the painted 'jesus' & the painted 'aligator'... & the tune of "the Ballad of New Orleans "started to go through my head
" We fired out cannon til the barrel melted down"
" So we grabbed an aligator & we fought another round "
" We filled his head with cannon balls & powdered his behind"
" And when we touched the powder off ,the gator lost his mind "

So if Jesus fires that cannon too much... its nice to see ,the aligator is standing by ;)

Yeah, I upgraded from 16GB to 32GB a few months back. It's been awesome. I have about 10 gigs left. I'm thinking about loading a few movies on it. I'm leaning towards Step Brothers and Office Space.

last night i restarted my computer in the hopes it would find its cd/dvd drive on its own, so that i would be able to play starcraft late into the night. unfortunately it managed to misplace its operating system as well as the drive leaving me starcraft-lorn as well as forcing me to deal with a serious case of internet withdrawal.
today, it found both its OS and cd drive. i think my laptop is made of poltergeists.

So, about a year ago, I decided to buy a cell phone charger for my car. It was a pretty little kit from Griffin that was basically a USB adapter and a separate set of cables for iPods and mini-USB devices, like the RAZR. I was happy with it, and what drew me to this model was that I could use it with my iPhone, or my wife's RAZR. And it had a replaceable fuse. A great feature, and big selling point for me, since I've had car chargers fry stuff before.

It died today, and the fuse was fine. So I cracked it open, naturally curious as to why it died. Capacitor Plague. They made this otherwise great charger, and then used the damn cheapest internals they could find.

So I bought a new one. From Belkin. Dear Griffin: I won't be making that mistake again.
