Having a college degree does not put you "in academia." With only one exception, every single male professor in my department in college was short. That is what I was referring to.

Sheesh, guys, take a joke.

I've only seen a handful of exceptionally tall Asians. And one was a Nigerian/Korean mullatto from my high school days. He was over 6 feet tall, and SKINNNY. Everyone wondered why he didn't try out for basketball.

White people are seriously tall... I guess if you're half white and asian, then it would make sense.

I'm 5'11 (just below) and people in my family consider me a tall one in the dad's family in Mexico City. My cousin Fernando is two inches taller than me, making him the tallest in the paternal side.

Maternal side is different... giants.
My great grandpa died in his late 90s... and he was 6 foot 9. People said that he already shrank down too when he got old...

My nephew is really tall... taller than me and he's going on 14. Poor boy-- he's got growing pains. Stretch marks all over his poor knobby knees.

But we haven't seen her as this incarnation of Poison Ivy.

What really turns me on isn't what I explicitly see, it's what's left to the imagination. I think the best way to put it is the way a musician in Revolver Magazine put it a while back; he's more turned on by his girlfriend when she comes into the bedroom wearing panties and a tanktop than he is when she just walks in nude.

NOT to say that Skunky is letting everything hangout with the leaf bikini outfit, or that she should cover up. I just think she could rock the green leotard just as hard as she did the leaf bikini and NOT have to worry about pervy fan boys to boot.

I made the admin manager almost wet herself laughing tonight. I was asked to clean tape gum off one of those electric sliding-glass doors, and I went to do it... without turning the damn thing off first. So I was just jumping back and forth trying to focus on cleaning this one spot like a dumbass, when she walked up and just busted out laughing.

I reminded her afterwards that I told her I'd find out what made her laugh, one way or another. Well, I did; physical comedy. Now I HAVE to learn the Violent Jay dancing on the bus dance if I want to really make her loose it.

Also; I now want a Ps3, like really, really, REALLY BADLY. So if anybody has a spare one lying around, or an extra $400 they want to turn loose of, let me know.

Crazy-funny, or crazy-insane?

I can deal with crazy-funny, that's usually what I aim for in life. I can be serious when I need to be, but when not needed, I don't see the point in being anal retentive about things. Crazy-insane I can deal with to an extent, so long as it's not that type of "might be the next Charles Whitman" insane, that's when I get worried.

Happy birthday Dante. Good luck with the medical exam anyway. I hope it goes well enough to allow you to do what you want to do. Then go out and enjoy the day as much as you can, I advise, hopefully with extra reason to celebrate.

I have reason to believe in what Mr. fli says, depsite me being arguably far too young to be even considering such thoughts. My own birthday was towards the beginning of the month. It wasn't really a happy day. It was an indifferent day really, as I find I don't tend to have people to talk to very often these days, and I didn't really have a reason for leaving the house either. Part of me wanted to venture into the greenhouse, where I can get down on my hands and knees and really get myself dirty until I'm tired. Kids had stolen my prized peppers the week before. In the end, I just sat down to the horse racing.

Also, Mr. fli, I will try to make time to read your userpage story before the end of the day. I don't really know why I'm telling you this here, but it caught my eye earlier, so I'll pop round later.

That's part of an annual physical, man; they have to make sure you're in peak physical health. They check your junk to make sure you don't have testicular cancer or anything like that, and they check for hemorrhoids... well.. because they're hemorrhoids.

There's not much here for me to joke about, except to say... growing up sucks, doesn't it?

Try being 14 years old having the doctor feel you up that way because you thought you had testicular cancer, THEN get back to me.

Either way when he told me that I felt better because I felt bad because I felt bad about lying. plus when I got sworn they asked if I had a problem about using God and say: SO HELP ME GOD. I said I was a athiest and I seperated from the other guy who was gonna get sworn in with me and and the Captain came in and told me that the millitary is based on religious values and what not and there are religious in there and I said I didn't care I just dont believe I try to respect other peoples religions (not on the internet though) and I got done.

I got a message from school saying they may close school and library because somebody may have been infected with the flu.

I'm like...
"Shit, right in the middle of finals..."

Anyways,
I'm getting better from my flu. It was sort of bad for a while... kept falling asleep during the day. They've closed down two high schools (or elementry) on the west and south side.

Oi--
and my aunt in is Veracruz, Mexico... the place where it supposedly had started.

I'm really an amateur in the whole field, and I don't really have the land to try any experiments on unfortunately. It's a little fantasy of mine though to have a large garden with space for my own flowers, my fruit and my vegetables. Part of that comes from the weekends I used to spend at my grandparents'. My Grandad is big into his gardening, and his garden was great. It's in the north of England, so possibly unsurprisingly, it's on a hill. It offers a lovely view though. My reference to peppers in the last post was a nod to my Grandad too; he once managed to grow a purple pepper somehow.

The reason I bring it up when talking about my birthday is... well, I guess I just feel a little old, enjoying stuff like gardening. There's nothing wrong with it really, but it makes me think a little. Sometimes I feel like not seizing the oppurtunities as I incessantly read books that may or may not be relevant to anything in my life and act unfriendly, stuck-up maybe around Newgrounds...

... ah, I'm thinking too much. That, or having some sort of mid-life crisis... at nineteen. I'll be looking into flowers with gardening soon, because someone I know recently said they like certain types of flowers, and I would like to provide them with said types of flowers... :)

Well,
The spot where I tossed it... on tomato seedling grew. Imagine that...
It survived after being boiled for at least 10 minutes

Heh, wow. Tell me how that turns out, because that's pretty strange, and lovely at the same time. I'm not too well acquainted with the science of a seed and its "survival rate", but what happened to your tomato seed is a pretty rare event, yes?

Don't read the comments... they contain spoilers.
They're only useful for me to fix plot points.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm not going ot be able to read it tonight, so hopefully I'll get round to it before the end of the week. I always like to check out the homemade literature around Newgrounds. I haven't read many of the "classics" though. I'm pretty sure I've read at least one part of Funk's story, but I can't remember the details for the life of me. I'll add that to my list.

Damn, that's not good. How quickly will it be before they make that decision? It's a tricky situation indeed, working for the best of the students can be hard to define... I have my fingers crossed anyway.

I saw on TV tonight that there's a potential case of swine flu in Columbus, and they're telling people not to shake hands. Well, crap. I was in Columbus doing that all day. I also did walk four miles up and down the Short North and have lunch at a very good Japanese restaurant.

The status on what I mailed still says "acceptance." GRR. Then again, I guess that's what I get for using the post office. I suppose they're either not updating the status or are in no particular hurry. Assholes.

Oh, and Magnolia Thunderpussy is one of the most awesome stores ever. It's one of the few places I've come across that sells records. I could have also bought a turntable set, but it's not like I'd use them. I was also surprised to see that The Chamber sells Sybians. 1500 bucks and it's yours. Didn't buy anything though.
