grammer - it was cutco, they scam college students all over the country. do a google search, it's pretty sketchy.

TV shows - I record all my shows now. I'm addicted to it. I missed big bang and how I met your mother because chuck and house were recording and my DVR can only hanlde 2 at a time. Chuck was awesome this week. The guy who played john carter from Enterprise is chucks dad which is always win.

I liked the show Kings on NBC, but they've basically shit all over that show. First, they changed it's night to Saturday and replaced it's sunday time slot with celebrity apprentice *gag*, but didn't advertise this. But thankfully *facepalm* they had skipped a week too, for some stupid sports thing, so last saturday was the first episode on the saturday slot, and they advertised for this saturday, but decided mid week to cancel the show until "june" and so, my DVR recorded a repeat of law and order. They didn't even change the schedules that they send camble/satalite companies.

it's a great show, I would suggest watching the 4 episodes they did show online. It was awesome.

I'm now going through one Monster.com application for some law firm. They want specific information for employment in the last 10 years. I'm going so far back that under the feild for "supervisor" I'm leaving first names with a question mark. They also asked if I have ever gotten security clearance.

I started the application the last time I posted. ugh.

It's not that I really super need a job right now. We are BARELY making ends meet with my wife's job, barely, and at this point my joke of an income is more spending money than paying bills and rent. So, I don't mind working for a few hundred a week instead off 500-600 a week.

rock climbing is awesome and you know it.

;;;
As a rigger I have all the gear for climbing, dozens of caribeaners, 2 & 4 foot loops (a couple of dozen, rock cams, knuckles, several sets of ascenders, & repell gear & over 900 ft of 2-1 high visability climbing rope...but I can't get anyone to pay my rate to just go & climb rock faces.... & if I'm not getting paid, I'm not into it for ""fun"" !
But when a Production needs camera platforms, access to areas that require such gear myself & 2 other riggers here in Nova Scotia are ready to go.
Climbing is for myself -WORK- when I have time off, the last thing on my mind is doing what I do at work.
I also have never seen the "fun" aspect of this activity.
Awsome , yeah sometimes it is that.

I don't think your rigging is made out of granite...but, it's a fun activity. You are basically climbing straight up a rock face, you need to find where you put your hands and your feet to get higher, you need to scout out where you plan on going and what features you are going to use on your way up. And, it's physically demanding so there's a challenge to it that you may not get in an indoor climbing wall, or climbing up riggings (not to say that's no physically demanding, as I assume you're carrying some heavy equipment up the rigging). And if you like hiking, most climbing walls on mountains are a good hike into the woods, so you get that kind of thing to. Its sort of a wilderness connection thing for me. Being out there and no people around, things like that.

Hot diggedy-dang and a yellowfull of spoons!

I just got all warm and fuzzy inside.

It rained today. My god, I did not know how much I had missed the refreshing smell in the air after a good downpour until I went out and had a sniff. I almost turned romantic for a brief moment there.

All this talk of physical activity, challenging your body to push its boundaries that little bit further and breaking in a whole rewarding sense upon yourself at the end of the day, makes me feel a little inadequate in the masculinity department to tell the truth. I'm not a good outside person, especially in the summer. While my brother was christened by the waves as he was surfing last summer, I was sitting on the beach underneath a tropicalesque tree, clothes covering all of my flesh as I read my book. If people approached and asked me where the nearest bar was, I simply looked up, pointed to myself and muttered, "Suomi.".

The last time I tried anything vaguely related to rock climbing didn't go so well. It was an unusually hot day, and everyone was out having a good time. At first I didn't think I'd be able to join them all, but I got all my work done at the last minute, and was off. My best friends chanted my name as I climbed the rocks. I was stretching my arms and pulling on the stiff rocks, every part of my body aching. It might have been a huge morale boost for my self-esteem, had I reached the place where none of my friends had ever set foot. It came to a point where my pile of bones would try no more though, and I let go, hitting my head on the swings as I fell. The whole playground laughed at me.

I don't know, there's a sort of Tinklebell-like quality in that getup that has me squinting and rubbing my chin, for some reason. Of course, Tinkerbell might seem beautiful to some. I was one of those kids that was far more impressed by the dust effects coming off of her.

I am nodding though. Nodding, as a small grin indicates I understand what you mean, sir.

Seven would probably just laugh and wink at me, but I think Skunky might castrate me for posting that.

I just like the drawing, because it takes the character of Poison Ivy and puts kind of a manga/anime spin on it. She's downright cute, cuddly, and innocent looking... which plays right into the art style AND the character's ability to hold sway over men... and it all puts you off of the fact that she can kill people.

I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking it.

After a fraction of deliberation, I think I can agree with that hypothesis.

Hehe, not at all. I like different intepretations of established characters or situations. As you've pointed out, it highlights the focal points of the alternative style of art and makes you think about whatever has been drawn. This particular Japanese anime/manga technique may get poo-poo'd as "overused" in some cases on the Internet, but I always find it interesting because it shows something so differently. It's like, back when I used to play the Final Fantasy games on Playstation obsessively, I used to think all the characters looked so cold a large amount of the time, with minimal emotion. Online fan art may be borderline terrible in some cases, but at least it's refreshing.

And Poison Ivy is defintely cuter in that style than how she usually looks. Refreshing, as I say.

I'm pretty sure a fair number of us would find wearing that particular outfit quite uncomfortable around certain areas. As I studied the picture again, I think I could feel it encroaching upon my physical privacy, slowly tightening itself around my, ahem, waist. In my mind, that thing is made of lycra too, which doesn't help. Don't ask me how I made that conclusion, maybe I have a mind set on uncomfortably tight, thin clothes... I feel uncomfortable yet curious.

Hey, why did you all back away?

I feel like such an idiot when I make a short-medium length reply post on the BBS regarding advice on what to do in a situation, Newgrounds related or not, and the thread has been locked. This is in no way critical of moderators, because all that is really needed is a simple answer of a link or two, which is what the moderator provides. I just don't have the right links on time, and end up going onto tangents regarding what each link means. Yeah, I don't really have much of a life, hehe.

Looking at it a sort of positive functionalist manner... I get to practice skills for when I need to work as an advice columnist in a local newspaper after university. Yay!

That's my husband's theory as to why so many of the men in academia are short - tall guys have too much distance between their brain and their penis, and gravity favors the penis, so the brain languishes. Short guys are therefore more adapted to cerebral pursuits.

ARRGHHH stupid post office. I started the process for getting my money refunded yesterday and sent the paperwork via certified mail. Well, I've been using the tracker, and the mail hasn't gone anywhere beyond Acceptance. WHY?!!

Turns out I didn't need an expensive car repair after all. I went to the shop for a brake inspection today. The brakes and wheel bearings are fine; it turns out that one tire is cupped. That's a common problem with the Ford Focus--it's a tire eater. The guy said I have plenty of tread left, so go ahead and run it down and try not to be driven nuts by the noise.

Will head to Columbus tomorrow as originally planned. Yes, I will go to Magnolia Thunderpussy. After hearing that name, how could I NOT go there?

how does he explain all of the 6ft tall frat boy douchebags who somehow make it through a bachelor's degree? Today I saw some retard in an escalade come up to 2 cars that were stopped for a cross walk, swerve erratically into the left lane, sped through 2 cross walks and during this time the line of cars began moving, nearly took out the front quarter panel of one of the cars swerving back into his lane, and then stopped abruptly in front of the car so he could make a very loud engine noise as he pulled into a parking lot on the left side of the road. Like five people in the cross walk started screaming at him as he drove by. I really hope one of them slashed his tires later.

whenever I order something online I track the order on UPS or fedex's websites and it's always like nothing for a few days the all of a sudden there's all these arrival/departure scans in one day.

I sent a certified &receipt requested letter for a scholarship application, and they had that fucker signed and back in my box by the end of the workweek.
