What one person said about my short horror story, Devil's Food Cake...
"therealanimator says: jesus thats one fucked up story"

If you want a really shocking horror story-- please read it on my blog...

or right above my sig.
maybe not an epic series like Funk's and Staff's...
but the short story has its own charms...

* Insert witty innuendo regarding Rabbits here*

Seriously, my brain is dead this morning.

Though I did have a rather unnerving moment on the bus today. Was sat infront of this couple who were discussing the foursome they were going to have later, they said one of the people ahd dropped out so they needed another. I then felt one of them tap me on the shoulder. I freak out slightly, and then get asked what time it is.

* Face palm*

that sounds like something my wife and I would do if we went on the bus...So maybe you just had a joke played on you by creepy people like me?

Also, I took the motorcycle out for the first time this year. Beautiful day out, 60 degrees, and used my new motorcycle jacket. It's still pretty stiff (as new leather tends to be). We might get a new motorcycle this year. I nearly got one last year, now that the lady is on board with the idea...I might get what I want..except our opinion of bikes has switched. I want a cross-over bike that is a mix between cruiser and sport styling, she wants a cruiser. I think when we're out of school she'll get a harley and I'll be riding a crotch rocket.

I also finally put MS office on my lap top. why I didn't do this before is beyond me. but now I can finally bring my computer to school and USE it. LOL

Pretty creepy and cool at the same time. Also lots of photographs of stars before their prime.

I really don't see enough art exhibitions. I'd love to see some places and pieces in particular. That might include some Warhol, amongst lots of others. I can understand the mix of "creepy and cool" in this case, heh. I read about a film version of A Clockwork Orange made by Warhol about ten or so years before Kubrick made his version. I think that's an interesting one to add to my list...

I don't remember the ad, I just remember that the little girl in the ad was kind of homely looking. The following inner dialogue then took place.

Voice; That girl is bug eyed as a bat.
Me; ... huh?
Voice; You me, BUG EYED AS A BAT.
Me; Please, no...
Voice; Dun-dun dun-dun dun-dun dunna-dun dun-dun dun-dun dun-dun dunna-dun BAT-GIRL!!! She could be on the cover of Weekly World News as Bat-Boy's long lost sister.

I almost choked on my burrito from giggling so much.

I was under the impression we banned those because people made cash off them. But all right, I won't speak of it again.

I'm still gonna nail grammer to the wall in that game though.

Changing subject; anybody heard a good comedian recently? I just found some clips on Youtube of Mark Lowry, a guy who used to sing with the Bill Gaither Vocal Band. My mom used to buy his CD's from the Gateway Christian store many years ago, and the guy is a laugh RIOT. Click here to see him give Bill Gaither HELL.

Yeah.

Robin Williams recently had a very good stand-up bit over in Wales a bit back. Bit of politics fun too.

I wasn't trying to chastise you, I'm sorry.

I don't know the reasoning behind it, I just know that referral links on the BBS are bad news.

I don't think anyone made money off outwar (other than the site owners). KoC was the same sort, you got a link you spread all around, people clicked it and you gained troops.

There was another one back in the day where you had a monster and the more people to click your link, the bigger your monster.

Lately it's been the mybrute, which I think has a thread in the VG forum right now to advertise and click on others' links.

Oh, and that ihatelacy or whatever links, where if people click on your link you can see some rather poor quality softcore porn or something.

and what was that my minicity? I assume it was a city that grew as your links were clicked?

They came out yesterday with this "Mission Architect" in City of Heroes. You can design your own mission or series of missions, set who you want to fight and where, and then go at it. I've been sitting here messing with it trying to get some of the finer points down, and I made a basic "defeat the boss" mission where I had my own main character (a martial arts//regen scrapper) as the boss to defeat.

Do you know how hard it is to kick your own ass while yourself is talking smack to you? Well, now I know.

Yes, referral links are banned on NG in BBS posts. There are other threads for this, and you can advertise in your sigs. I know it's apparently a game and things like Outwar and KoC merely encouraged spamming, but still, a slippery slope to allow one and not all, so please stop posting them in this thread.

I will keep deleting them like I deleted the last 2, and if the message isn't getting across I'll be forced to hand out bans (probably dinkie 1 dayers) I don't want to, so please don't make me do it. Ok? Ok. Back to your fun.

That is why its used so much in theatre applications, we paint what we want you to see in bright colors , paint what we don't want you to see flat black & when we 'light' the stage or the set...you cannot see it ,it becomes invisible to the very flawed human eye. ;)
