The only major river for us is the Guadalupe River, which flows from the Santa Cruz Mountain and up north through San Jose and Alviso.

The major flooding happened in 1995 to 1997-- Clinton had to declare it as a national disaster. And I remember people being so stupid about it. They would try to cross the river with their trucks... and lots of them were swept away because of their idiocy.

We even found a complete mammoth skeleton right over there--
which was pretty cool.

The weather channel isn't sugar coating it. They said that you guys should be breaking records by Saturdayish. 43 feet man....If they tell you to evacuate, get the hell outta there.

Buenos Aires floods when storms come from the South East (sudestada, there's actually a song called like that ). And La Plata gets flooded once every other year. The last year was quite hard on the suburbs, they got 2 meters of water. I live in an apartment, so yay me.

Good luck Dante, and nice one for pulling off some work there. I've never been around in a large scale flood (I don't even remember this one, despite it being only in 1998, and the floods in 2007 barely affected this area, despite my town having two rivers and a canal), but you sound confident enough in a larger situation than that.

In summary, avoid doing the things people have already said and keep up any good work... but you knew that didn't you? ;)

Also, Ms. Seize, don't fall victim to any tornadoes. That might be hard to avoid as they don't seem to be up for negotiations, but watch yourself. Is tornado watching a common thing down there? As in, as common as it's made out to be anyway.

IT really helps our perspective if you can take the photo's in about the same place for each as well.

My face is rotting off.

No, I'm not kidding. I'm too busy being on a shitload of antibiotics to kid.

People wonder why I hate all life, especially the purest forms of life like bacteria?

This is why.

THIS.

It's not some stupid faggot gayspace bullshit relationship drama, it's not because daddy won't buy me an Iphone, it's not because I'm broke as fuck and live in a shithole of a town, a town so filled with hatred that WE SHOT MARTIN LUTHER KING.

No, I'm filled with rabid hate because about every six months, a part of me tries to rot off. I'm filled with hate because otherwise, I'd have no reason to live at all, and it wouldn't be very hard to just NOT go to the doctor and let the disease that lives inside me do what it wants to do.

-----

BTW, funny thing about Sirtom93 and me: my new band is called Fires of the Arsonist. And this was BEFORE the fact. DOUBLE WIN.

Also, I've paid for and ordered a Boss 16 track hard disk recorder with USB, firewire, fiber optic, 8 SIMULTANEOUS CHANNELS OF RECORD!!!!! and internal cd burner. It's $1300. I'll finally have a chance to make some high quality live recordings and fix up my sound in post like everyone else does.

The bad news is I'm fairly certain my new vocalist is indigent as fuck and will probably be shipped off back to St. Petersburg Florida in the next three weeks.... right before the gig. Or maybe not. However, regardless, there's a good chance my old vocalist Josie (not the guy from Saliva) will be coming back if he goes, so I'm all good.

I would call it a bad week on more than a few fronts, I suppose. It's a bit unusual emotion-wise, I would think in a few ways. The winters of January and February are supposedly the "worst" times of year, but maybe it's the wind and the rain before the bright light of spring that gets everyone really... or more liely, pure unfortunate luck. I can't say. To counter the effects of what I read and what I am, I am currently indulging in wine and Shakin' Stevens. At least I admitted it, damn it.

As for Mr. Funk, I wasn't aware you had such a problem with your body. All I can say is what you've heard many times before I suspect: it sucks. You sound like you're doing all you can anyway, and I'm sure it will be fine, or at least stable. It doesn't get worse than hate, right?

At 16 cents a round, that's not bad shootin' for large caliber steel.

Of course, I just found out today that Ace Hardware sells ball bearings, but they're a bit pricier than that (45 cents a piece for their largest one, and it was about a 7/16).
