5:32 AM. Still awake...
I had a few tequilas and an energy drink combo, and it's like... I'm not sure how I feel, drunk but my mind is sharp... not sluggish, or whatever.

I really want to go out now, but nothing to do at 5:30 in the morning but Denny's and those other places.

Ever try JagerBombs? Its the exact same feeling. Your drunk, but you have energy to carry out whatever your drunken mind thinks up.

What other places are there? Maybe one of those would be good.

If you got nowhere to go, you can always watch T.V.

Merry Christmas man

I woke up at 9 and couldn't get back to sleep, even though our alarm was set for 10. So I got up and made chocolate pancakes.

Merry Christmas everybody!

I'm going to watch this MythBusters marathon, lounge around in my pajamas until the desire to shower and dress strikes me, and then make food. This will be my first turkey, and it's been soaking in salt and brown sugar for three days, so we'll see!

He followed me home, can I keep him?

Mythbusters sounds good.

The turkey sounds like it should come out nice and flavorful.

How do you plan on cooking it?

Standard roasting method, pretty much. Roasting at 425 for the first half hour, breast side down, then flipping it over, brushing it with oil so it crisps, and cooking it until it's done at 325. I've got my meat thermometer and a nice Pyrex roasting dish with a removable rack all prepped, and a written plan to make sure everything comes out in the right order.

I'm a very organized cook. :)

He followed me home, can I keep him?

I'm leaving for like three days, not much heads up time, and I need someone to deposit for me. Since I'm leaving so soon, I don't have time to confirm whether or not you can actually do anything for me, but that being said I'll pick someone who I know I can trust, but also can deposit regularly. Sorry Skunky and Sevenseize, you're trusted persons, but I don't know if you can deposit regularly :/

That being said, I choose...

PROTEAS

I'm PMing you my account name (guess what it is, hurr durr) and pass. We may not like each other, but you're a mod so obviously you got that position from being a respected figure, and you've deposited plenty of times so I can trust you can deposit for me. If you can't, just delete the PM.

I did want to pick you, fli, but I'm not sure how often you can deposit, if I had to name my 5 best e-friends from Newgrounds, I'd definitely have you up there.

So yeah, Proteas, I'm sending you the PM now. If you don't want to, or can't deposit for me, just don't, I won't mind. This is a long shot I'm taking to get some exp while I'm away. I think it says something positive that I can trust you with this.

When I get back, I think me and the other Newgrounds regulars should make a pact within their most trusted friends, to be regular depositors of exp while the others are away. Sort of like a pregnancy pact, except a lot less jizz but the same amount of cock-sucking.

O yea, that turkey is going to be delicious!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets super organized when I cook.

Enjoy your meal, I gotta go make Saffron Sugar cookies now :)

Sounds like a lot of you are going to be eating turkey for Christmas dinner.
I have a real problem with turkey.
I did a commercial for a local Supermarket that was a Happy Holidays type thing, where no products were being flagged, but a huge Christmas feast was laid out & we panned it as the Happy Holidays logo from them , with appropriate Christmas music played.
If any of you had seen how we prepared that 'food' especially the turkey (& I use the word food loosely) You would be eating Prime Rib for Christmas dinner like we are today.

I still have nightmares of the large steel needles shoved up through the turkey... just breaking the skin, & the big syringe full of crisco oil, just out of shot, being slowly pushed to show "a juicey" , cooked to perfection turkey as the camera panned slowly by ! ! ! & I don't even want to think of the smell of the shelac we used to make everything shiney & bright.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you & your families have a safe & fun filled holiday.

Suggestions?

I don't care if it's lame but playing rock band with my family rocked. But my 9 year old neice liked singing "spirit in the sky" a little too much.

I went to work today. Wound up being a cluster fuck in the morning because the usual supervisor wasn't in today and the girl in his place today is a bit of a flake and parent's weren't happy about stuff.

My family's different. Every year, we get stuffed pork chops. We get them from the same place, even though we don't live in that town anymore. The guy knows if we have people over by how many we get XD

There was a major icestorm across Ohio Tuesday. I was supposed to go home that night, but a 10-15 minute drive home from work took 45 minutes. We were planning to go out yesterday morning. We sort of did. Dad woke me up at 3 AM. It was pouring rain where we were, so he figured we were fine to go, and he couldn't sleep anyways. He was wrong. Once we got on I-71, it was all ice. A normal 4 1/2 hour drive took 7 hours. I slept in the car, but it still wasn't enough. I crashed for a few hours after we got back before the relatives showed. Fortunately, it looks like I'll be okay to go back.

Right now through that magical christmas combination of physical exauastion, mental exaustion and chocolate I'm already feeling as silly as I do a couple drinks in. throwing actual drinks on top of this will be facinating.

Making some homemade chocolate cake with my niece, and it's 3:30AM...
I was drunkish about half an hour ago, but now-- just up and active.

Wow, this is the first hoiday where so many good things happened in a row (despite the fact of having an asshole uncle come in...)

This is the recipe that uses vinegar... the wacky chocolate cake.

Doesn't a sale kind of go against the precept of boxing day?
