So, I bailed on a Soul Calibur tournament to play in a Warhammer 40k tournament...

...then promptly slept through the Warhammer tournament.

I'm a winnar -_-

It'll be cheaper to call in a favor from some of my union buddies. We've never encountered a venue yet that we couldn't overcome & get the job done. Between myself & 2 others I work with all the time there is little in the climbing/rigging hardware we don't own ;-)

And yet we overlook the most simple solution: do not read it at all. It would bring you neither pain nor gain.

But I respect your enthusiasm. undertaking that much reading would hurt even my eyes.

Then again, you could pay the WAY more extortionate price of a local flight from Detroit to Flint, Traverse City, or Saginaw... then renting a car.

BUT.... I have finally made a villain character I actually enjoy playing; meet "Sulis," named for the Celtic Goddess of the thermal spings in Bath, Sommerset, he is a Stalker with Claws offense and Regeneration defense... yes, it's Wolverine.

I liked the name because it sounded sinister, villainous.

Are you saying you want a piece of me? I guess it can be arranged, but I will need your clothes, blood and motorcycle. No bargaining. And you must be able to comunicate with the Things if you wish to avoid shipping fees. Which you should be, since you said The Cubes can be solved and thus must belong to the dark ones.

Looks like Greyhound is the way forward on that one - $40 for a 2/3 hour ride, or $25 for a six hour train journey. Files under "Duh."

I took the oppretuinity to finally establish one of my characters as my "main." I went with my fire scrapper, who there won't be a picture of because apparently my laptop doesn't like doing print screens.
Anyway I chose him because melee is what I'm best at. I went with reflexes as his secondary to provide some defensive base so he could keep swinging that fire sword around. His name is Flaremight. I chose that name because of the flare of the fire and the might he puts behind it. I put like a medium level of thought into the name.

Take the train.
You can get up & move around. trains are better than buses IMO.
After all just recently a bus passenger cut the head off another passenger...we've had no such commuter type violence on the trains, at least recently :)

Oh another note, if you book your flight through Air Canada as a return trip you get a better price than 1 way.

I heard about this. I think it says something about society that in all grand spaceusness of a bus no one noticed a head being cut off until it was done.

Same here. I've tried playing controllers, and I've got a defender sitting on the back burner right now... but I'm more fond of scrappers and blasters.

You can't go wrong with Regen, Reflexes, or Willpower for scrappers and tankers, especially Willpower (it's more balanced between regen and reflexes).

His name is Flaremight. I chose that name because of the flare of the fire and the might he puts behind it. I put like a medium level of thought into the name.

Makes sense. My problem with naming characters is that I the names are usually taken when I come up with one on my own, so I started going through Wikipedia for names of minor deities.

*looks around*

Here's a pic that Seven will absolutely flip over. It's another from the Winter Event that we had in CoH, I had gotten a hold of a temporary self-resurrection power called "Renewal of Light," that would put out a massive concussion blast to all the foes around you as you floated up and around with angel wings.

I managed to snag this as I self-rezed inside of a demonic portal....

I have a blaster and a mastermind actually, both archers oddly enough. But hanging in the back just doesn't feel naturual. My archer has gadets as his secondary and my mastermind archer has trick arrows so I can alter the playing field while my ninjas attack. Both have robot arms. I have no idea why the concept of an archer with robot arms facinates me so much.
I might make another guy just so I have an excuse to learn super speed. Even though in a true "I am retarted" moment I realized yesterday that you could have more than one of those power sets I really can't justify have two devoted to travel.

It's one of those things that has to be experienced to be understood. It's addictive. The game play is very much like Grand Theft Auto, but you have comic book super hero powers as apposed to guns and the like.

I'm trying right now to get my characters to the point where I can actually take them into Player versus Player zones and terrorize people, but I'm going up against people who have UNGODLY amounts of in-game cash and customize their characters to the point where they can drop you with one shot. I've got a long ways to go yet.

They get home at the same instant the baby is born. It's touching.
I liked the first few seasons of the Stargate show and would still watch it sometimes but it didn't hold my interest. I never even touched the Stargate: Atlantis spinoff until they started running those marathons because it was ending. I then came to mcare deeply for these people who were going away.
Also, the movie is enough to know a stargate when you see it.

Dude, nothing where you have to be a good guy is like Grand Theft Auto. Show me someone driving the batmobile into a line of pedestrians after running down Catwoman to get his money back and then I'll grant your concept.
