Happeh birthday Tri!
---
So a bunch of my friends and I went up to the campus in Marquette to watch Cursive play, and holy fuck was that awesome.
We didn't have school yesterday or today (thank god, I was exhausted), which was awesome.
The show started off with some shitty local Christian-screamo band. The only reason they were there was because the band that was SUPPOSED to open got side-swiped by a soccer mom while hauling all their equipment. So this other band filled in at last notice. And oh my dear god were they terrible.
The screaming started like right away and the audience was like REALLY shocked, and everyone just looked really amused the whole time they were playing (this was a very indie crowd). This one guy with dreadlocks started headbanging, but I think he was being ironic. Once the singer got started on his "forget everything you thought you knew about Christianity... we're bound together by love for Jesus Christ" spiel, the crowd reacted very viscerally. Just... such a terrible band. I swear, the bassist played nothing but his E-string the whole time.
The second band came as such sweet relief after the first one. They were this really good, I guess jam-band. The guitarist was pretty amazing and the crowd started getting into it by then.
And then Cursive came on and was just fucking incredible. Don't even really know how to describe it. Just sonic happiness all around. Singer was really funny. Great times were had by all. :]

I went and looked at the Encyclopedia Dramatica page for newgrounds, and damn near fell out laughing. To be classified in the "Active/Virgin" mod portion in the big three circle chart made my night.

Yea, that page is pretty brutal to some of you, but overall I thought it was hilarious. The best are the rules to become a mod.
AND HERE THEY BE!!!!
1. Abandon all hopes of procreation and/or use of the phrase "irl". These will only serve to hinder the slow siphoning of life force from your rectum - A process that all future moderators must undergo before being bestowed the ultimate honor. Your irl is now modship. Your soulmate is now Newgrounds.
2. Refrain from performing actions that might be construed as altruistic, funny, or interesting in any way shape or form. There's nothing interesting about you, you self-possessed ingrate. You live to serve Newgrounds.
3. Perform fellatio on existing mods whenever possible. Geek orgasms are known to produce spurts of goodwill mixed in a colloidal solution with semen during ejaculation. Now you are fully prepared for your tenure as a loyal servant.
4. Drink aforementioned semen solution. While performing this action, post a slew of "witty" emoticons in the hopes of being pegged for modship material.
5. Travel, uninvited, to Newgrounds HQ, located in the unassuming town of Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
6. Enter yourself into the literal circle of sodomy which includes all mods that Newgrounds employs;
7. Fit your folds of perineal flab around the micropenis of the mod to your aft.
8. Place your own micropenis (No girls allowed!) into the crusty, elasticized anus of the mod in front of you.
9. Ejaculate in ecstasy.
10. ????
11. Profit!

If your talking about me specifically, I'm not trying to harass anyone about becoming a mod. I think I'd be pretty bad at it actually.
I was just pointing out my favorite part of the ED article about newgrounds. I'm not trying to harass anybody. Sorry if it seemed that way.

Yeah released new movie, Piers of War.
Me and my pal came up with the idea when I was watching him play Fable 2.
Basically it's the part with the ghost pirates and he's running into the cave near the ship, and I say "Hey, I remember this from Gears of War." And from there it kind of took off.
Wut?

No I think they were all mentally challenged. One winter here would have convinced me not to put down roots. That's the damn problem , now I 've got kid's,parents, grandparents, siblings...their kids, friends & work, so up rooting myself & getting out of here just isn't practical...or affordable !
It a beautiful sunny day out here today, almost no wind ,a slight breeze & with out factoring in the wind chill it's still minus 16 W T F. I don't live in North Western Canada, where that's normal. I supposedly live in cold damp Nova Scotia !
Well there is nothing "damp' about minus 20 + below, it's possibly going to hit almost minus 30 in places tonight....I want to move down south near Seven...I can sleep in my truck !
Hell if it's above freezing I can sleep on the ground under the truck, with just a ground sheet & my regular sleeping bag !

It's breaking record temperatures here. Got up to 70s this week, and today it's most likely to do it again.

I'm envious of Seven right now. The heater in my car didn't kick on until I was almost to work yesterday morning, and it was a nice and frosty 5 degrees outside with a swift breeze of about 10 miles an hour.
Today it's holding just above freezing, which is closer to the typical winter weather you find in Tennessee.

I am going to a Trade centre "Winter Extravaganza" tomorrow. My honey's working today or we'd have gone today. They have some great deals on vacation Caribbean packages. If I don't find something there, I'm thinking last minute vacation or doing like I did when my marriage was breaking up. Going into a travel agency & asking What kind of deal do you have for Down south leaving tomorrow !
I got a next day trip to Luperon in the Dominican Republic for $1600.00 taxes in, for 2 weeks, I was on the ground for 15 days of fun ,sun, & affordable young females ;)
