I've got two 1-inch binders full of them, and somewhere in a box I've got another hundred or so in those clear plastic card vault boxes (my favorite series of cards were the Team Rocket cards). I never did the tourney's though, I usually just played with my brother and a few kids from my church.

Yes, Southern Baptist's allowed their kids to play and watch Pokemon. Wrap your puny minds around that one.

I worried myself into an upset stomach last night over this new department and schedule change at work. I may have gotten 6 hours of sleep last night because of it. Then I got to work this morning, and it was... no big deal. Compared to what I was doing in my last department, a brain dead chimp could do my new job.

The Assistant HR walked up to me and asked how I was fairing and how I was liking the new department situation, and I pretty much told him what I thought; mixed emotions. But, I had to learn everything from the ground up in my last department, I'll just have to adapt to this new one.

But I did get one over on the guy, though. I said, "Truth be told, when this store originally opened, I applied for a cashier position. So the fact I'm on the sales floor at all is a bit odd." His eyes lit up and he asked if I wanted to be a cashier instead (they're always hurting for cashiers), and I said "HELL NO. I've done it here to help out on occaison, but I don't want to do it as a job. And you can put that in my personal file; 'FUCK NO, WILL NOT WORK AS A CASHIER.'"

He just cracked up.

The car came with those wheels. I'm not switching them out since they're the ones without hubcaps, and I figure the extra money is worth not having the aggravation of them, but when stuff like this happens, then it's not. I'm gonna call for estimates tomorrow.

REAL people drink tea. Strong, strange, foreign tea with lots of symbols and stuff on the package. I used to gulp down Fu-Kien back in the days, but I had to stop. It turned out to be a little TOO strong, strange and foreign...

If it's happening while you're driving, I wouldn't risk being in an accident. You should carpool until it's all sorted.

My friend used to have absent seizures. He'd blank out for like 30 seconds. I guess instead of having grand-mal seizures, his body compensated by shutting down for a little bit in the head area. He did it once while driving on the highway when he was learning how to drive at 16. His mom pretty much barred him from getting his license until they stopped or they figured out why it was happening. They never did figure it out, but he hasn't had any in a long time.

I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this yet, but have you guys seen on the news the US Airways flight crashed in the Hudson River?

No one, out of the whole 150+people, are seriously hurt(few cases of hypothermia).
They think a flock of birds got sucked in the engine.

I saw that. They said on the little banner on the bottom of the screen "No suspision of terror attack."
I personally am not prepared to rule out the option these were al quada suicide pigeons.

You have my e-mail address, I want pics. NOW.

I'm going to the doctor today to continue the saga of why I keep having seizures. Tuesday morning I had one on the way to work while sitting at a red light. It turned green and I didn't go and people honked at me and I felt bad. :-(

... not cool, not cool at all.

wow seven, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I am majorly relieved that you have the absent seizures over the grand-mal style.

You saying you had a bunch in one day made me so worried that you could do some serious harm to yourself...not to say that any type of seizure is good...but if you're going to have them...may as well be the space out ones.

plus, you don't have to wear the crazy helmet....yeah, that WAS a bad joke.

at least I didn't bring up your username and the number of seizures you have in a day

damnit!

I love you! Get better!!!

I'm to lazy to do that. Besides, its already kinda funny.
