(I know I'm supposed to wait for my 500th post before I post in here, but I think you'll forgive me).
Judge, Window's XP (if your using it) comes with an MP3 ripper. Open up the "Windows Media Player," and there should be a "Copy from CD" tab along the side.

Ah, but I need mp3s. wavs are too big, and windows media only does 3layermpeg and .wma. I used to use Nero, but it only let me do 15 songs, and then it was dead.... stupid shareware...

Have you tried Music Match Jukebox? That's a pretty good mp3 ripping program.

I am sorry if I am intruding upon you gentlemen, considering this is the "Regular's Lounge" and I, for one, do not quite qualify, but I had to give my opinion on a good mp3 downloader. The gentleman that suggested MusicmatchJukebox, is correct, it's a wonderful player. It is such a pity there aren't any free, good Mp3 players anymore.

it works for me, anyway. if you still can't open it, ask me again and I'll find another program on my computer that does it.
As for ripping music, I use iTunes on both my Apples and PC's. I used to use MusicMatch but I think iTunes is a better program.

Isn't it against the rules to have a sig that distorts the frames?

I'd have to agree. After using the windows version of iTunes, I'd say it's one of the best for mac and pc. http://www.apple.com/itunes/

Judge, email me (in my sig) for a solution to all your CD-Ripping woes.
And it is indeed against the rules to have a sig that distorts the frames, but Error - you cannot ban another user who has administrative privileges.
Oh well. Why don't we all just pretend he doesn't exist. That would show him. Show him good. *pouts*
