I guess it depends on your definition of a musician then.

In what way?

I've heard people bash ICP for their music, but I've as yet to get a solid answer as to why yet.

Since art is all subjective it's not like I can factually prove them to be bad, I could only give you my opinion.

Well, by "woodsmen" do you mean "survivalist" or "lumberjack?"

Well let's look at it this way, let's take it for granted he's got the right genes to make someone tall and such. Genetics are very much a factor in body type. Then take into account his skill in hunting humans. It's fair to assume he hunts other animals with decent proficeny. Combine hard work with a plentiful, protien rich diet and being a big strong guy isn't out of the woods, pun.
Also, was Jason retarted? I don't remember that ever being meantioned. I mean I fully buy that something was wrong with him but when did they say he was retarted? The x ray in Jason X doesn't count.

I just put goop on my ski gloves. I'm heading down to the store later to get some waterproofing solution for my jacket and ski pants.

I'm rounding up all of my wool socks and figuring out if I need to buy some more.

So excited for this weekend.

My queston is how do you go through life without knowing how to use a bike.
Basically ever moment from the age of five to the age of 14 involved a bike.

I mean there just so essential to every growing boys life.

Instead I stayed indoors and gathered the 80's tv and nintendo refrences that prepared me for newgrounds.

One of my most favorite things was the ride my bike with no handlebars

yes, yes... Flobots song reference

but, seriously... I remember childhood was basically biking with other boys. I mean, yeah-- Mario Brothers and all that too. But bikes...

You could do stupid things like... close your eyes and bike around with no handlebars. I did that a few times and I was lucky that I didn't break my neck. I loved doing that cause I felt that was how it was like flying...

You know... I think I'm going to get a bike for Christmas.
I've been barrowing my cousin's bike, and it's been fun biking... might as well buy one.

Women suck. Especially when they reject you.

In other news I'm going to seriously piss off my one of my module tutors by coming up with my own thesis which contradicts all other previous ideas on the subject.

Went to the Ringling Museum of Fine Arts and Circus Museum in Sarasota today.

That was REALLY fun. The mansion they had at the bay was SO incredible. The artwork was really amazing.

Well, here's Violent Jay (Joseph "Joe" Bruce) w/o makeup, and here's a good video with pics of them both.

Violent Jay is ugly as sin, so I think that might have stuck in your memory if it was him you met. ;-D

They hold a more sentimental place in my heart than most other people, I think...

Well then, give me your opinion on why you think they're bad.

I don't intend to jump all over you about it, I'm just curious. Trying to get an honest answer out of people on the subject has been like trying to nail jello to a wall for me.

Jason was hydrocephalobic, which can cause mental retardation. So this would definitly play against the whole hunter/gatherer scenario you just worked through UNLESS he had lots of help from someone who had expert in that field. The problem with this being that the only person he had to help him was his mother (a cook at Camp Crystal Lake), and she was nothing more than a demonic entity residing in his brain.... which kind of defeats the purpose of his hunter/gatherer skills because he's a nothing more than a super-human zombie.

Still, I'm curious to see what they did for this movie. I still haven't seen the new Halloween that came out, was it any good?

The episode was the one where Elliot's boyfriend proposes to her and JD ends the episode by saying that as he looked at all the couples around him, whether old, reenergised or brand new he couldn't help but think that it should have been him in one of the couples.

It was possibly the worst episode for me to be seeing at that time.

Don't worry TNT...
I've been rejected like a hundred times. Just think that they're lessons to knowing how to bounce back.

Heck... I've bounced back after a near-decade relationship... and the person who I wanted to get closer got married!

I guess some episodes of Scrubs could make you feel bad... When Ben died, that got me...

I know. I also know I'll be fine its just not nice putting yourself on the line and getting rejected especially when its by a gal who actually embodied everything I look for in gals. Idolisation... I know and that's never a good thing but *shrug* it happens and I cant help it.

That was a good episode. Anything that pulls something like ' THIS GUY HAS BEEN DEAD ALL ALONG!' I tend to enjoy for some reason.

This is where being a bitch is good... bitches bounce back.
Just look at Julie Keaton (Heather Locklear) when Dr. Cox rejects in season 2... Just got to be her. She says, "Oh... my heart is broken. (Beat.) Oh look, I bounced back..."

Good way...
Sometimes the bounce will take longer... that's all.

And you can always ask out anyone... you maybe lucky.
I love this recent post from Chad-T... It shows you exactly what I mean about having balls and chucking out the fear of rejection...

That guy who asked out Chad... them some balls.

God, I feel those sort of twist endings are so terrible... I mean, there are tons of them (like, Jacob's Latter, the bad ending of the first Silent Hill game, An Occurence at Owl Creek, The Others, that episode from Are You Afraid of the Dark, etc.)

Still...
That was a good episode, but still... I don't think much people could write it off that well... Because it was Dr. Cox who was having these hallucinations and not Ben.

Currently entering hour 24 of a 55-hour holy-shit-got-to-get-all-my-work-done staying awake stint. This is after getting a combined total of under 12 hours sleep the previous three nights.

Actually feeling pretty chipper right now. That's circadian rhythm for you, I guess.

I've noticed that these stints don't actually make life too much less pleasant, they give it a sense of clarification and simplicity with a delayed effect.

Rules of all nighters:

Night one: normal night. You got sleep yesterday. Quit your bitching and start drinking that coffee/booze, whichever keeps you awake.

Night two: THE SECOND WIND. The sun has powered you with manic energy. You have no real strength, but you're going ninety miles a minute. Just whatever you do, DON'T SLOW DOWN!!

Night three: HALLUCINATION. You've now officially hit the "Man" mark, that cuts the men from the boys. Don't be suprised to see cars melt into the ground, weird lights, etc. Your brain is now officially out of neuro transmitters. Be proud.

Night four; WTF?!?!? Are you on meth or something?!?!?

We cooked the most awesomest turkey of all awesome turkeys ever.

I am amazed beyond words for how great the bird turned out today.

Made some gravy, peas, corn, apple turnovers, stuffing, real mashed potatoes, fancy bread with cheese. No icky squash or asparagus and suchlike that I don't like. No having to sit around making awkward conversation with family, no stupid football on the TV when I want to watch cartoons. Today was awesome.

sorry that your cat is sick, skunky :(

my cat jumped on the table at one point to try to eat the turkey, but was thwarted.

I've pretty much spent the day at home. I closed last night and didn't get off until late because of Black Friday prep, and was feeling somewhat ill when I got off. Too tired to sleep, so I didn't sleep well... and then there's the damn dog.

We're watching a pure-bred daschdund for a friend of the family while he's out of town. Now I remember why I like cats for inside pets.... cats don't wake you up at the crack of dawn to be walked. They just claw your face if you haven't fed them.

Oh, if anyone has a bunch of leftover turkey they don't know what to do with, simmer it. Take your favorite sauce, add butter (or water) to it, throw it in a pan on high until it starts bubbling, and simmer some of your leftover turkey in it. This makes the meat juicy, and pulls in the flavor of your favorite sauce (those flavor injector marinades work really well for this purpose).
