I meet Terrance McNally today...
Wow...
Wrote Kiss of the Spider Woman, Love Valor Compassion, Corpus Christi, The Full Monty, etc..
It was brief, but I even got a pic of him in my Diana cam...

Well, that's not pop...
You haven't seen the move The Full Monty?
The last scene is FAMOUS--
Although, he didn't write the movie... it was adapted from the movie, otherwise--
How do people not know The Full Monty???
I mean... it's a dick.
In a box...
A dick in a box.

I never thought I'd see the day, but... GNR's "Chinese Democracy" is FINALLY BEING RELEASED.
This Sunday. At Best Buy.
I went on Myspace this morning and they've got the whole thing loaded in the flash player for a preview of the album, and I'm sitting here listening to the track "Madagascar" (my favorite thus far). Clicky.

I'm almost the opposite. when I'm in the library or book store I'm like an ADHD kid on crack laced with sugar. I read like crazy for fun...Usually I've read a few chapters ahead in text books before classes even begin just because I have the time or whatnot.
I don't watch much TV anymore either.

I feel like my intellect is sluggish if I go too long not reading a book without pictures. Previously my favorite stuff had been really old Micheal Criton books because it facinates me what technology was considered world changing at these different periods. The overall theme is that there's always new shit and the world ain't changing.
Fli, I saw the Drew Carrey episode based on the Full Monty. Does that count? *Puts on helmet and prepares for barrage of theater snobbery*

Boy, do I feel your pain. My job has been killing my lower spine lately; maybe I should look into a chiropractor.

The back is very complicated. Incase you didn't notice, that's where you keep your spine. That being said I don't think chropractors are real doctors. I know I'm oversimplifieing but it's all about bending and stretching stuff.

Oh yeah, Cindy my cat of like 14 years or so died last night. She was 16 years old, thyroid problems, weighed like 5.9 lbs. It's a damn shame...
Still <3 Abbey though. She jumps in my bed every night :O
RIP Cindy
Sorry to hear about your cat...
16 is a very long life, so at least you got the most of it...
Still, 6 pounds? My god, that's horrible...

If it's just muscle tension in your back, one of the ways you can alleviate it is by rubbing/having someone else rub your feet, lower legs, hands, and lower arms. By encouraging circulation to the extremities, it can lessen the tension in your core.
The more you know...
Anybody else download the Xbox game Kingdom for Keflings? It's strangely addicting.
He followed me home, can I keep him?

e-relationships can be an odd subject.
When I was in highschool and such as a teenager, I often found it sort of interesting to speak to girls online. Never had anything like that. I did have an e-friendship with a girl who happened to live in my state. We never had a chance to meet because she moved to florida, but we had talked on the phone and stuff. That was kind of cool...but now we never talk.
and of course, NG...I mean, I don't even know what type of fucked up shit running around going to meetups and letting people like poxpower, rucklo, aviewaskewed, and stealthsteve into my car...exchanging text messages with seven and avie and wastedrat...talking to evark about meeting up for a ski trips...or going to fucking vancouver to ride around in a limo with biteme, teardopped, painbringer and deadpoetic.
OK....you know what? you're e-relationship really isn't that weird

I actually had a sort of similar experience. I met this girl from Brazil over a music site, she turned out to be pretty cool. She liked similar music and so on. I actually made a thread about it on NG when it first happened.
Well, we ended up meeting (in Cambridge, England no less), and things went pretty well, but after meeting her I realized that internet relationships and long-distance relationships overall are just a bit empty and I'd rather be single than have one.
As to whether or not they can be real: I think they can be... but to a certain degree. Physical contact seems so key in relationships.

E-relationships DON'T exist.
Period...
You can be friends online...
you can be enemies online...
but you can't be boyfriend... girlfriend... on line.
So much about being a boyfriend or girlfriend depends on physicality and prescence. If you don't got that component... you got zip.
the whole point of being girlfriend/boyfriend is that whole touchy feely, kissy kissy, "let's go out on a date... movies and dinner?"
Without that dynamic... people wonder elsewhere and "cheat." (Although, I don't know how it's cheating... if you've never had sex with the other person on the other side of the computer.)
Heck...
I'll dispute that there aren't really "real" friends online. I mean, it's great talking to everyone here, but-- I've never been in the same room with most of you. It's like you're ghosts...
don't get me wrong, I like everyone here.
but we got to make important distinguishing factors between physical and cyber life.
It's like that one guy who once said, "If it wasn't for myspace, I wouldn't have friends..."
Meh--
