What is it you love about that Fli?
the fact the poster doesn't know the difference between cereal you eat (aka grains), to the fact that prolific killers are called Serial killers ?
So is it the humor...or is it the topic?

I admit, that seeing 'Cereal killers' got a chuckle out of me.

Well, I've had my share of spelling mistakes.
But it's the 3 pages worth of people doing crude pics of cereal boxes killing other cereal boxes is just effing hilarious...

Dude. I thought I'd seen people clearly sucking cock for modship but this dude wasen't even trying to romance it. It's awesome how he just nailed that guy to the wall for all to see. Fuck yeah.

2. The futurama movies.

The first one was good but it felt forced. Like they were trying to fit too much in or they just had to get used to writing in that world again. it had flaws but I liked it.
The second one was completly episodic. Without watching a clock I could tell "This is where episode two starts, episode three, episode four." Plus they spent so much time in altered character that it didn't allow any involvment. That's no fun for me.
This one was just them doing what they do. They were lampooning geek culture smartly enough for people to not see they were taking the rest of culture along for the ride. There wasen't a lot in terms of character development but there dosen't have to be. This is not "sportsnight." It was just a fun ride.
Beside, we all know how the character things play out. Kiff and Amy are going to get back together, possibly after some poke at divorce in society, and Fry and Lelee are going to get together at the absolute end. It'll be fun to see how it happens but let's not kid ourselves into thinking there are a lot of different ways it could go. Also, this years American Idol will be a black woman.

Okay,

I need help from you gun toting gun-lovers.
If I shot someone, pretty far away, (let's say mabye 20 feet) with an M16... would that person's face would "blow up" or would their be a clean hole?

I'm polishing up my project and there's an important monolgue where a guy describes seeing a face on a rock. But-- I thought about it, and wonder if it would be accurate. I mean, I want brains on sand and bones scattered with rocks kind of violence.

It's important that I can get this accurate, otherwise somebody is gonna say, "An M16? Yeah fucking right!"

Nah, m16's make a neat little hole. That's what the ammo is made to do, which makes a lot of people think it's ineffective but that's bordering on politics in the lounge so no. An AK would totally mush up a face if that's what you're looking for.

Well the thing is that actual military service is not a video game. they stick very much to a very narrow arsenal for the most part. There's no harm is specilization
Now, no u.s soldier will ever be issued an AK style weapon. But they are popular amoung the third world types we pick on so if it's in the field you could find a way to get one in the guys hands very easily. And on here THEMASON talked about how he owns an AK privatly so that could happen too.

I haven't protested. Mostly because I'm stuck finishing up my projects for school and submission... but I think the passing of sooooo many states of anti-marriage rights laws have really sparked up a huge debate. I'm hearing rumors of major protests bigger than the ones right set on May Day.

That will be interesting how it developes.

The rounds that both rifles fire are just that; rifle rounds, with the ak-47 round being only slightly larger and faster in terms of size and velocity. BUT... the Ak-47 round is a fairly popular round for deer-hunting, which it would not be if it just destroyed massive amounts of tissue like the way you're describing. And the M-16 round is as you say; it's designed to wound, not kill.

I think we need Mason in on this.

I'm not getting to play City of Heroes tonight like I wanted. My friend that got me hooked on the game told me over their pm system that the new update that's coming within the next month is going to destroy the PVP aspect of the game, as well as a few other things. He told me to sign on to the test server to check out the new update that's being worked on, and.... you have to download and setup a whole new copy of the program in order to access the Test Server.

For some weird reason, 2.7 gigs of program is going to take 6 hours to download tonight. So *pffffbt*. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Also; has anyone seen the video for Womanizer by Britney Spears? Say what you want about the woman, her career, her personal life, what have you.... but the clips from that sauna scene? DAMN.

There's just something about seeing a woman in the shower that does it for me.

Like I said. she's just so smug about it. Like have you seen her videos? She's very aware of how clever the thing she's doing is and she digs on it.
Like in her new video "hot and cold" she's talking about a guy who's hot and cold, fair enough. In the chorus she talks about how they kiss and make up. But she covers her mouth all coyly when she says "kiss" as to imply that she's using the term eupemistically and that infact their making up involves more than kissing.
And at the end she walks up to the guy with a zebra. What the hell does the zebra represent? He is afraid to commit to the zebra? Is te zebra both black and white like him? Oh, I get it. Clever!

In a total moment of randomness you mentioning zebras has made me realsie how I ended up agreeing to tutor the girl in my lesson. I now know to avoid all horse like creatures as a topic of conversation on sundays.

Seriously, I'm not joking, discussing Zebras is the caus eof my agreeing to tutor someone.

Talking online via facebook, girl from my analysis class, at home. She said she was hungry enough to eat a giraffe and that she wanted to own a giraffe. I said I'd prefer a zebra and made some comment about helping it overcoming its identity crisis ( cause its both black and white), she asked if I liked to help people, I said yes, she asked me to help her, I said yes.

There may be a few more steps in the conversation that I missed.
