So, yeah, unless Obama gets elected and is being sworn in with his hand on a Qur'an I'll probably never post in the Politics forum again. I've barely posted recently but I might as well announce my final departure anyway because I've had the idea in my head for at least a year now or so and I keep coming back to lurk.......

don't be such a fucking pussy-fart. it's an election year, and it will be annoying as fuck up until about 3 days after the actual election. after that it'll be back to the typical hum drum of the forum.

Yeah, the movie theater almost called an ambulance for me.
Some guy behind me had his legs crossed, and when he uncrossed them... his steel toe tip big shoe hit the back of my head pretty hard. Kimbo Slice style...

Hard enough to knock me down and almost take a girl with me...
They had to stop Saw right in the middle of the screening and take me out. But they didn't get refunds... they restarted the movie once I got out.

I didn't return... or my sister. I as soooo embarassed.
They said they were calling the ambulance I said, "Oh, please no... I can go to the hospital by myself with my sister."

And so my sister takes me home, and now I'm wondering how the movie ends.
I'm okay, but I have a bump and a headache. I've never been knocked out cold before...

I got an apology from the guy, and his info.
He's afraid of lawsuit, but... I feel that as long as I'm good and don't go to the hospital, then let's avoid problems.

One more post.

Just wanted to say that me not posting again has nothing to do with the elections in the US. I had noticed that RedSkunk and Empanado had posted a few days ago and yesterday I noticed that they had once again stopped posting right after that and I thought to myself "why don't those assholes just post a lot more". Then I thought about that question for a few minutes and then I decided to follow their example.

I only mentioned Obama because I had promised to post my NG account's password in the lounge if he was sworn in on the Qur'an in some other thread. I like having spent a lot of time here in the past and it has really been a positive influence on my written English, but I keep feeling that I've seen every argument/debate already so I fear I've sort of outgrown this board. I wish you guys the best of luck, though.

Hey fags = )

I has internets again and am in a much better house with a total lack of damp. As a testament to the environment I am now in, I managed to write 3/4's of an essay this morning in only two hours.

Now watch me waste all my time online and not get anything done.

You should have gone to the hospital anyway, man. If for nothing else than confirmation that you don't have a concussion or brain damage.

I've noticed on here that people go through ups and downs in the frequency of their posts, with myself going through a down period as my scrapper in COH nears level 50, but... If you feel you've outgrown or become weary with the whole political process and debate, not much can be said, although I do sympathize with you.

Understatement of the year. See end of post for mine. (For those of you who can see it, yes, I do use the Brainwave Generator Program, it's got a great preset for headache relief).

....

I went to the local health food store today, and got a bar of Dr. Bronner's hemp oil soap with rose extract to use for lather when I shave. I don't often endorse products, but... this stuff works. I chunked off a piece of it, put it in my shave mug, and went to work with my straight razor and I did not have to use an aftershave balm to sooth my face after I got done.

I also got a bar of Pine Tar Soap and a bag of raw hempseeds for teh lulz.

so let me get this straight....heavy armor on the arms and legs....but no armor on the ass? really? What use is this outfit?

unless she's wearing metal underwear....but still, like, having that section of the legs uncovered is totally not productive, there are some major arteries going through those areas...if anything you'd want to protect there!

Well, I feel okay.
The thing is... money is WAY too tight these days for me. I have to make ends meet. Even the family business is slow.

Right now, my other house which I rent out. I use that money to survive instead of putting it into the payment of the house itself. That's something I haven't planned, but... that's how it's gonna be. Float till things get better.

It's bad but...
unless I'm seriously maimed... I got to take a rain check. I pay everything on my own.

Sorry I've been such a no-show lately...I've been kind of stressing out. Looking for a job that pays better, house hunting, planning a wedding, and generally just busy and tired.

I feel like I've made this apology before.

Anyway, carry on, just wanted to poke my head in and let everyone know I haven't died. I've gotten kind of sucked into Fable II, though...I'm playing an evil character. So much so that I have horns growing out of my forehead. I highly recommend the game. But it will devour your spare time.

Good luck in all aspects of life...
especially with the wedding... cause, I've seen Bridzillas before, and that's like the most stressful part of their lives, which-- oddly-- suppose to be the happiest.

I haven't played a game since Final Fantasy XII and Silent Hill Origins. Which was last Decemberish.
I've been meaning to play the newest Silent Hill... but I don't have a PS3.

I liked the first Fable...but I'm hard pressed on how they can make a sequel...I mean, your whole family was pretty much dead at the end of the last one.

I like Oblivion. I got really into it when I didn't have internet in August...Didn't actually do any of the main quest to be honest, just explored and did some stuff with the guilds.

At 10/26/08 12:19 AM, MortifiedPenguins wrote: Why not just just get a can of Barbasol?

I originally got into the whole soap mug and brush deal when I bought my straight razor, because of the whole tradition of straight razor shaving. I wound up just using the brush, mug, and soap while I searched for a way to sharpen my razor, and I found that there's a logical reason behind the whole deal.

Soap lasts a HELL of a lot longer than a can of Barbasol. Seriously. The little cheap piece of mug soap I bought from Wal-Mart to start out with 3 months ago was only about 30% gone from where I was shaving every three or four days (on average). Plus, hemp oil is supposed to be really good for the skin, and the rose oil adds a nice smell to it...

Either way, for my face not to burn after shaving, that's saying something.
