This only happens to me once in a while, but it seems to come in large segments.
For the past week, it's been all nightmares lately...
Like this morning, I woke up because I dreamt of a child who would hug you, but squeeze you until you're dead. And this child looks like the Devil's baby in the Passion of the Christ.
I woke up thinking I was being choked to death by that child...

so i ended up watching Arthur last night (that fun little King Arthur in Roman Britain movie), i think i found a fair way to sum it up in one sentence.
Arthur; a simultaneous fuck you to atheists, the Catholic church, script-writing, acting and history.

And the female body. Remember that thing where they inflated Keira Knightly's chest on the poster? I saw the atmospheric (filmed in the dark) commercials and stayed a mile away from that film. Is it at least fun in that watching a bad movie on purpose way?

well i could have made my list longer but its hard keeping track of so many things. it is kind of fun, but the bad movieness doesn't outweigh how painful it is to watch.
case in point; theres a scene on a frozen lake where the knights stay behind to give the people they saved some time to escape from an army of Saxons. they attempt to force the Saxons into grouping together so the ice breaks. when this fails the guy who plays Titus Pullo in HBO's Rome (one of the few good things about this movie) runs forward and starts hacking at the ice with his axe sending a wave of ice cracking death towards the Saxons resulting in a ridiculous and over dramatic Saxon ice-bath. at which point Pullo dies.
side-note; you have to be blind not to have seen that his character was a) going to die first and b) going to die at that point in the film.

Ohh. I haven't got that as a subject, what does it exactly consist of; Marginal Cost and Production curves and all that jazz?Yeah. I don't like the subject.
=(
I got that in Micro; not even the professor likes it :\
I think it's kewl, yet really limited. I think every neoclassical microeconomic model is really limited, not to mention its conclusion, which is always "laissez faire is teh pwn".
But no economics in the lounge.

Let me guess, tough guy character with a touch of pathos.Spends time in the same room as the main characters but kind of off to the side. And, I know you said he was a brightspot but still I have to assume, talks more like someone playing British than someone who actually is British. Kind of like Jessica Simpson in dukes of hazzard. If you haden't praised his performance I'd have assumed he was a soccer hooligan in Roman times.

Man, I'm taking a biochemical engineering class, and BOY OH BOY, you do NOT want to be a strict vegan if you need medicine.
Seriously, you've got no idea how often we use dead cow fetus juice to grow bacteria.

Well, dead cow fetus juice is quite delicous, I usually have it for breakfast.
But beyond that point, is it just me or is every horror movie thats coming out now have to do the Blair Witch Project style filming, you know with the shaky camera and not really knowing whats going on.
Because another crappy horror movie is doing that aka(Quarentine).

bingo.

well it was more the knowledge that he kicked ass in something else that made it better, not his actual character. in Rome he plays a similar character, but Rome had a decent story and script.
don't know about the playing a Brit; he didn't talk that much.

Oh.... now THAT I can understand and sympathize with you over. To some extent. If this is the only thing you've gotten a bad mark in and everything else is to your high standards then I wouldn't be worried.

It depends on what you're trying to grow. A lot of bacteria can't sustain themselves on agar, and require a substance of animal origin.

I always forget if it's an "a" or an "e"....I used to be very sure about spelling that word, then somewhere along the line someone convinced me the way I was doing it wasn't right and now I'm all sorts of confused. If only I could remember who that person was I'd wait by their house with a baseball bat in honor of sweet lady revenge.

Our Quiz Bowl team lost 300 - 130. And 130 isn't even a bad score. The other team was just godly. Highest scoring game in the history of the televised Quiz Bowl around here. :)
I had a fucking GIGANTIC steak-burger for lunch, though. I didn't know whether to eat the damn thing or have sex with it, holy fuck.
Nothing else new to report. :o

I am fairly pleased withn how I see halloween being treated this year. Since the start of the month there's been plenty of scary programming. The stores are filled with overpriced novelty candy and I'm finally in good enough shape for that Batman costume.
Tis the season to be scared shittless in good natured ways.
