I had a Microeconomics midterm today.
I wrote 5 sheets of calculations.
It was MADNESS

Another beautiful day here in N.S.
Just finished loading in another cord of wood.
I think its time for a cold beer !
Cause it isn't just for breakfast anymore!

Seven...just bring your kids some of your home baked sweets.
You'll be instantly forgiven....

I learned two important things today... well, three, actually.

- The key to shaving with a straight razor is maintaining proper angle; to low and the razor just glides right over, too high and it starts to rip hairs off as apposed to cutting them off. Good spot is to lay the razor flat against your skin and raise it up a bit.

- Until I buy a surgical black stone, the best I can hope for is a straight razor shave comparable to a normal safety razor that's been used about a dozen times.

- Razor burn and scrapes with a straight razor hurts just as much as with anything else. My neck looks like a strawberry patch.

Thanks to your ringing endorcment I bought the city of heroes/villains. I enjoyed the detailed character creation and wondered what it could possibly come at the cost of, turns out it was intuitive controls. I'm hoping that either I can adjust them/adjust to them because the large part of my gameplay was spent yelling "zoom out! target that guy! Where the fuck is the camera?"
I made a guy who conjures fire to punch people, you know, autobiographical.

Actually the initial power I chose was to conjure a sword made of fire. I was going to make an archer but until I'm comfortable with the game's controls ranged combat would be suicide.

You can control the camera with the mouse rollerball, roll it forward to zoom in to first person viewpoint, roll out to get second/third person, then hold the button down and move your mouse around to shift where the camera sits.

I figured it out. It's still a little unweildy but it's something I feel like I can learn now

Fire scrapper? Sweet. What's the secondary powerset?

Reflexes. I figued I'd make someone who could both hit and dodge for once. I also made an archer, with a robot arm, with gadgets for secondary. When I saw that the web grenade would bring down fliers I fell in love.

I think I will, now I just have to think of another person I want to be.

You realize when Avie starts crying about this I'm going to be the one he turns to. There's nothing a guy from New Jersey pretending to be a New Yorker hates more than a Boston team winning.

Bwa ha ha. This is the first time that I can remember the yankees not making the play-offs.

In other news my pc died. It wouldn't boot so I reformatted the disk. Which took several days to not work.
My dad actually tried doing one more time by accident and THAT took several days to not work.
So I need a new computer. This is my laptop that I dropped once so I never once fun things it will do to my computer.

If the mets don't make it to the playoffs this year I may kill the internet to hide my shame. So um, get your research done before then just in case.

I hate Baseball. Watching it, anyway. And since our local pro team has been good like twice since I've been alive, that's another reason I really can't get excited about it.

Football and Basketball are awesome on the college level... boring at Pro level... Hockey is all around awesome.

Also, and I may have said this before, fuck Michigan's job market... right in the ear.

hooray sweeps, all the good shows are back on! except Battlestar... and Dr Who... and they SERIOUSLY need to get the second episode of Dexter on... why 3 weeks between # 1 &2? /sigh...

Tis better to sit in silence and be presumed a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Interesting side note. Earlier today my friend called me and said that she just heard a commercial that meant the n.r.a was backing McCain. That was a perfect segway into discussing Clay Aiken being gay.

I LOVE the commercials for Choke.
Okay, at first... I was upset that it looked like a comedy... but, after a while, I can't stop laughing in that one commerical where the girl says, "Punch me real hard!"
And the guy says, "With my knife?"
And she says, "No... you can't punch people with knives, that's stabbing."

Hilarious.
Maybe I will watch Choke. I have a feeling it may be better played out as a dark comedy movie instead of a heavy Palanhuik stark novel.

He works in one of those Colony era places.
