I put on a sweatshirt a little while ago, and it dipped to 65 here. But, to be fair, I wore nothing but a camisole all day.
And the mosquitoes are out in crazy force tonight, I don't get it. They've been pretty tame all summer long. I guess maybe all the rain we got from the last couple of hurricanes has allowed them to breed, but it's pretty crazy for their numbers to shoot up just as it's starting to cool down.

No, absolutely not.
I'm not going to have more tourists up here looking at the freaking leaves change.
The New Yorkers were bad enough, but no southerners.
Now, I'm going to get hammered for the third day in a row and I better expect the conversation to be on College Football when I get back, because it's 56 here right now and thats football weather.

You know, Mark Twain once wrote "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." I'm glad I live in the City. It's gettin' warmer, warm enough to shed my trenchcoat.

Thanks to the all powerful jet stream I get more canadian like winters than any other type.
We would get stretches of -30(f) for a week as a HIGH temperature at least once a winter.
Used to be if it was -5 we wouldn't send ski lessons out at the mountain. but we stopped that silly thing because too many lessons were being canceled. Now we just make sure the kids are bundled up and take lots of hot chocolate breaks. Which is fine by me because at least I'm getting paid.
I wonder what my new mountain will be like.
Fuck fall, I want winter to start tomorrow.

Thanks to the job, I have learned more about the Ohio State Buckeyes than I ever cared to know. I'll keep up with them, though, because the staff and patrons are excited about the games. Also, my neighbor is a Georgia fan, so I always hear noise from her apartment when they play. It's amusing.

A little bit. It's almost as fucked up a the time I was on my way to work and they were playing Jimi Hendrix on the radio ("Fire," which they were overplaying), and I switched to another station and they were playing the SAME FUCKING SONG about 10 seconds further into the song.
What was really fucked up was that one station was in Nashville, and the other was in Bowling Green KY.

And I sympathize with the whole weather thing. I had to be at work early yesterday morning, and while it was 55 outside, it was easily 10 degrees cooler inside my car. It's the first time I've had to turn on the heater in my car since about March.

Oi, Brian here is in a bit of trouble.
Well, not trouble, but stuck between a rock and a hard place. My old trench coat has finally done it's duty, and it's on the edge of death. However, with the same amount of money I could purchase a new suit.
I would like another suit because, well, it's a a suit, and suits always make you look better. However, I would like a trench coat because they are awesome. (Specially Bruce Willis in one in Sin City)
So, which do you think I should get?

Dude;
Shut the fuck up.

I had people in my house until like 3 in the morning yesterday, yet I'm up at a little past 9. I have no idea why I always ALWAYS wake up earlier when I go to sleep later.
But it appears that I'm gonna have people over on Homecoming Dance night. I and most of my friends aren't going, and then a bunch are coming over after. So, erm, you should all show up. :D
Bowling was teh haxorz. I should have had SO many strikes, but I got fucking ripped off each time. ¬¬

Well Mal if all the cold air coming your way is from here, guess where my airs coming from (looks North toward the pole)
But to be fair Nova Scotia is kinda stuck out into the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf stream comes up the East Coast of The U.S. & when it hitsNova Scotia it veers over to Europe. So when we are not experiencing any major weather systems from inland/Northern Canada its not as cold as the rest of the country. We get cold wet weather...where the temperature hovers around the freezing mark & water will thaw some by day & refreeze at night.
Which is why I bought 3 cords of hardood, 1 cord of softwood & a cord of slabwood yesterday. It is all cut & split & stacked by the logging roads ,Now all I have to do is haul it all home from the woodlot. but for $575.00 for all of it that's a good deal.
I heard it might get up to 70 degrees today...its already sunny & calm out, so my fingers are crossed & I'm heading out to get another truck load of wood in when my girlfriend heads off to work at 11 this morning.

I never got this. You have to be an awesome recluse to not go to homecoming. Seriously there's no reason not to and if you have one please list.

Which one do you need more than the other? Normally I'd go for the trench coat, but you are discussing getting a suit as well, which tells me it's something you need just as much (if not more, for whatever reason) than the trench coat.
Flip a coin.

*shrugs* My friends decided THEY didn't want to go, so I don't want to go and be there basically alone with all the people I don't like.
It's much more fun to do something at my house. Really, it'll amount to the exact same thing as Homecoming, just on a slightly smaller scale and with people who I find awesome instead of douchebags. Song, dance, punch, chips, etc.
And then we'll all get arrested, as is HC tradition.
Yeah, fuck that.

God, I love Damon, Pitt, and Clooney.
Anyway, think I'll go with the trench coat. I have 3 suits already, and sleeping on it I really do need a new coat.
