I didn't like Equis as a play, but I've read it a few times before it sort of became "infamous."

Maybe some guys, but I remember how some people like Howard Stern had a count down of when the Olsen twins became "legal tender."
Oh... and then there was that "Hermione" thing.

I could maybe give you MOST straight guys there, but not all. Don't forget the websites that existed solely to count down till they were 18 and it'd be ok to jerk off to them or whatever.
I think what happened there though is just too much money and too much power. They got enough money and clout to basically do whatever the hell they want.

There was so much spin in the DNC, that it would put Tony Blair to shame.

My Constitutional Law professor, while giving a class about American amendments of the constitution, said:
"Well, you must know them; in every American law film or series the lawyers are all looking fancy, then they jump, and shout out 'I invoke the 3rd Amendment!', 'I invoke the 1st!'; if they ever get a look at our courthouses they'll get a heart-attack."
There was generalized laughter.

Well, I will definitly be buying a pair of safety glasses tomorrow when I'm at work.
I was in the garage a few hours ago working on a grinding a knife edge back straight (it was an old kitchen knife that had developed a dip in the middle from years of hand sharpening), and a metal fleck caught me in the eye. I flushed my eye with visine and headed to my eye doctor, and there was no damage to my eye or any remnants of the flecks left in my eye, and they didn't charge my insurance for the visit either, so it all worked out in the end.

Heh... it only ever takes once. Be happy that your once wasn't serious. Some folk realize it only after they lose an eye or worse.

I've got a pair of wrap-around sunglasses I could have used, but it would have interfered with my ability to see what I was doing. Namely, because it's the ruby red pair that comes with this kit.
I also have a pair of framed sunglasses with ruby red lenses in it that I picked up in Cozumel a few years ago, because I have always wanted to be the real life version of CYCLOPS.

My knowledge of 60's 70's and 80's music is sadly lacking. I went to a pub quiz and, granted there were only two of us on my team, but we did really badly on that round.
We didn't even get through to the final = (

There's something unsettling about ordering six textbooks from the US and one from India all at the same time and having the one from India arrive first.

The US service probably sent it through Media Mail... which is the WORST service in the whole wide world... Jesus.
Takes 3 weeks to a month at times for a small friggin book-- I bought a used copy of Mysterious Skin from Ebay. 1 whole month. Guy kept pestering me for feedback, and I said I didn't get any. And he insisted that he gave me and was going to give me a negative review, but... damn.
In the end, I got my book... he gave me a bad review, I gave him doubly worst... and that's it.

Hey now. You didn't miss me? C'mon.
I swear by my life - and my love of it - that I will never live my life for the sake of another man, or ask another man to live his for mine.
