Why not Proteas... I took your suggestion awhile back & got one of those , f*&^ what's it called ( goes to drawer & gets) *Make It Sharp* a knife sharpener with the two crossed ceramic pins you draw your knife down & I picked up a "Steel" as well , they may not make my knives -uber sharp- but they will cut a tomato without any real applied pressure.
Bonus they are so easy to use little retarded folks could have sharp knives, I know that because , heck even big retarded people like me can do it !

I've just realised how long I've been on NG. Going to be 4 years next month...and I just also remembered that I had an account before this one...

After struggling to think what the name was, I worked it out and typed it into the address bar to find the profile. I then clicked on the posts button to see what my posts were like.

The little sharpening gadgets like that actually work, but it all really depends on the knife your working with. I've got a Smith's pull-through sharpener I'll use occasionally, and for some knives I'll get a good edge out of it and for others I'll get an edge that puts my sandpaper sharpened knives to shame.

Message boards that cater to the a specific spectrum or lifestyle will usually be that way. It seems one of the users on here a while back is/was predominantly left leaning and use to go onto the message boards of the Sean Hannity and do the same thing, only to wind up permabanned from the site.
