Yeah, I've been wanting to bring those up.

You keep forwarding them to me.

I used to e-mail myself the pics I took from my cell, because the cable to connect the cell and the pc was too expensive. But now I've got another cellphone, that uses the same cable as my digital camera! But I lost it :\
The other day I thought I got a text message, but apparently, the cellphone uses the same sound when a new message is received, and when the battery's fully charged.
Heh.

So I went to a club the other night. It was roughly as uninteresting as I had expected.

In other news, here is a short list of words that people often use improperly:

Volatile: This word means that something evaporated readily. It does not mean "highly reactive."

Though I will say that there is actually a real person on the number the text came from. One of my mates sent a load of texts to it pretending that they knew the person ( saying stuff like ' Hi there, remember me from the other night' and there was definite responses, so if it is spam of any sort its just some bastard playing a cruel joke rather than some random thing sent out from machines.

A better response would have been, "I don't own a cell phone, but now at least we know who's number you've been dialing."

Sorry for stepping on you, elfer.

I am having one of THOSE afternoons today. Came to my computer to get online, and I noticed it was plugged in as apposed to being completely unplugged as I left it last night due to some storms we've been having. Turn on my computer, and it goes to a black and white setup screen telling me that my computer did not start correctly, and I needed to either run windows safe mode or put in the setup disk and run computer checkup. So SOMEBODY has been messing with my computer this morning, but I know not who.

Then when I finally get Windows started, I can't sign on to the internet. I fought with it for a little while, and after much handwringing said "fuck it" and went and watched some of the Indiana Jones marathon that's been running on the USA network today. Came back a half hour ago, checked all my connections, disconnected my cable modem for about 10 minutes.... and now I'm back online. No rhyme, no reason, just am.

First I have to do a major overhaul of my brand new computer to get it working right again, now my cable internet isn't working right. This is making me nervous.

If you have a newer laptop, you can just send them for free over your phone's Bluetooth connection.

Oh, guys. Public announcement:

WINDOWS VISTA IS FUCKING SHIT. NEVER BUY WINDOWS VISTA.

If you buy a computer running Vista, go the extra mile to install Windows XP with SP2 (or SP3, which comes out soon). If you can, just buy a Mac.

I'm never buying a Microsoft computer again.

GTA IV features possibly the most realistic drunk-driving simulator I have ever seen.

And it's hilarious.

I never understood what the whole shitfest is about Vista. I have 2 vista computers and they aren't giving me any trouble at all. The only thing that annoyed me with my first computer was that IE would hold onto defaults so you can't open links in firefox from instant messengers, but on the new computer, that problem is gone. I set firefox as my default and links open in firefox.

I run high end games like Oblivion and my CS3 Master Suite programs (Flash, Photoshop) and word programs and internet, and I don't run into many problems.

Granted, the new computer has like a terabyte of memory and an ungodly large backup on it which backs up the system like every day on a built in external HD.

It's flashy, but if you have a computer that's designed for it (ie: not upgrading from XP to Vista from an older computer) you shouldn't have any problems.

I do like XP a little more as far as my comfort level, but Vista isn't going to make me go to Macs. I'd rather not pay more for inferior computers just because they're popular at the moment.

writing about the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and whether or not such regulations would benefit the Canadian film industry is about as interesting as it sounds.

Alright, this just came to me.

Give it a minute.

Life is made up of all these small bits of small talk, pointless exchanges on the weather, asking how the person giving you your coffee is doing and all of that. We've been brought up to think that such an ideas are good, full of common decensy and nice thoughts and happy emoitions.

But why do we lie like this. Why do we surrond ourselves by pointelss thoughts, empy talks and meaningless conversations. Why do we not direct what is truley going on instead of acting.

These Acts, that we all participate in have become us. We act when we go to work, the gym or anything. We never let who we are out and instead put up a facade instead.

This brings to mind then, if all of life is composes of these acts and facades then couldn't life itself be a act or a facade and just a compisation of all of this?

Mine worked fine for a few months, then it started freezing.

I ended up reinstalling the OS, and now it doesn't freeze anymore. It juts won't access the internet, even after I installed every driver for my computer.
