I have to write for my Grad. School comprehensive exams tomorrow, and my grammar has degraded to a level worse than stafffighter's... Maybe that's a tad dramatic but it's certainly shitty.

What you expect, but don't want, to hear: There really isn't anything you can do about it. It sounds like your brother needs to be humbled by more than just words. This is only something that real life can do. He might go out and be unable to support himself... or he might succeed. But it sounds like it's time to set him on his way... bull out the safety net and let him fall if he fucks it up. It's hard to watch a loved one bomb... but as I learned from experience, sometimes bombing is the only way to learn what you need to learn.

On a completely unrelated note: Does anyone here play Warhammer: 40k? Not Dawn of War... the "real" game... tabletop, minis, painting, 'Nidzilla, etc. If not, then the story I want to tell wouldn't make any sense to anyone, but if so... yay stuff to chat about! Cuz damn, I haven't had much time at all to post/think/debate recently. New schedule just started, though so I might actually have some free time over the summer. Yay!

It's an authority thing. A woman having authority over you can be enticing either because she takes command of you or because you overpower the authority and do dirty things to her. More often than not it's the first one.

I don't even like Jessica Simpson that much, yet that picture is a complete turn on for some reason.

She's an attractive woman in an outfit you enjoy. You really can't overthink these things.

I used to play 40k, I might get whatever it is you're dieing to mention Rav :P

Handed in my essay, and have filled in the form to choose my history modules next year. I'm rushing up to the department office as soon as it opens so I can hand it in, that way I should get my first choices. If so, Vietnam, American Counter-terrorism and Britian and the Abyssinian crisis here I come!

Also, my lecturer insinuated that George Bush may in fact be racist today. He never actually said it outright, but ended his lecture on Nationalism and Racism by saying that George Bush was undoubtedly Nationalist, and as Racism and nationalism tend to go hand in hand ( not all the time) it's possible for an argument to be made that he could in fact be racist on some level, then told us to make our own minds up on the subject.

Awesome lecture apart from that little addition at the end which annoyed me slightly...

Damn... Proteas, your brother sounds awesome.

Sounds like it's time for him to hit the big city.

Quiet living isn't for everyone, you know. Some of us like a little excitement.

Still, it's not excuse for him to act like an ass. Maybe he doesn't know how good he has it yet...

I'm inclined to agree about your brother, Proteas.

If he moves out and into his own apartment, he'll have to stop wasting his money on frivolous things, or else he'll get evicted.

I don't think moving out when you get pissed at your family is a particularly smart idea, as you will be guided by anger and will just jump at the first apartment that the landlord lets your tattooed, pierced ass rent, instead of finding a place he can afford, or can handle. Some places come with clean up/fix up projects and the landlord may want you to put in some effort to make the place a little better. Or, he'll find himself in a shithole because he just didn't look around enough.

But, these are all his own problems now. The worst that can happen is he'll come crawling back to your parents house in a few months after realizing what the real world is like.

While the event I'm commenting on is a political one the particulars of my comment are not of a political nature.
You know you're voting in a small down when they put someone's nickname on the ballot. You know, incase anyone who didn't know their real name was still well informed enough of their qualifications to cast a responcible vote.
I'm just saying the presidential ballot won't feature Barrack "Rocky" Obama.

And no sacrificing me. As of this weekend, my status as a virgin has, um, changed. So there.

Yeah, double post, but the man made a challenge.

I was going to bring pizza to Skunkys kegger but it turned out that I was the only one who accepted the offer. But there was no threat of sex because her boyfriend is taller than me and I know there are guns in their house so I'd probably leave my dick at home to be honest. I mean i should have more self control at my age but I still consider the ability to make pizzas on biscuts to be actual cooking skill.

I appreciate all the input on the situation with my brother, folks. Before my pastor went temporarily insane and stepped down, he had this saying about people like my brother who were going down a self destructive path.... "Just give them enough rope to let them hang themselves with." In simpler terms, stand back and let the consequences of the person's actions take care of the situation. I don't particularly like this approach, but it seems the only thing that will work right now.

Our sister asked me if I would need a place to stay as well, but I don't think she quite has a grip on the idea that I actually get along with our folks. In fact, that bit of information tends to warp most of the minds of people in my age group when I tell them that.

And if there was ONE woman I wish I could see in a military uniform (besides Seven Seize), I think it would be British glamour model Gemma Atkinson.

With that I can make an anti-matter grenade using secret scientific techniques taught to me by Macgyver and the A-team. Of course I'll only be able to do it in the secrecy of a shed whilst there are no cameras on or anyone watching but I can do it! We have the technology! We can rebuild him!

Also as we're on the subject of sex, and that is loosely related to the subject of dates...

Today is the day I'm going to make an ass of myself an ask the gal I've had my eye on for months out. I am officially shitting myself.

what is with Disney's teen stars and not being able to keep their fucking clothes on?!

that one chick got her naked ass all over the internet, then that hannah montana girl goes and gets naked for some magazine and of course britany spears' little sister went and got knocked up. And people wonder why teenage girls are constantly getting pregnant and showing up naked on cell phone pictures.

Teenage stupidity. Vanessa Hudgens didn't think that her boyfriend would share those photos with the whole world, Miley Cyrus didn't think anything wrong with the photo's until someone started crying "LOLITA!!," and... well... Jamie Lynn is a Spears, not much to be said there.
